All of the paintings (including stage 6) are made by an artist who captures the idea of recognizing something but not being able to know exactly what it is. Some people who have dementia can recognize enough to know they're alive, but they don't know what this object is. And the props get more and more distorted until Stage 6, which is an empty canvas, representing the way your mind isn't you anymore, your memories have been wiped.

Nerfed Dementia. Dementia will no longer be a chronic lifelong illness of mental deterioration for some, but will randomly regress back to normal one day based on if they forget about having the disease.
Phase 4 to Phase 5 will be when they actually forget it. Maybe stage 6.
(Quick update: Post - dementia stages will be called "Terminal Lucidity" even tho you actually cured it and the regained memories last for decades.)
