    Can this go directly over painted cedar that is flat, not shake

    7 year old new construction with Diamond kote over LP siding and it’s chalking and fading badly, their warranty was giving me 12 gallons of paint that I have to apply

    what size top trim board is used in the video for the board and batten? Is it a 5/4 board and if so did you use the 1" drip cap for it

      You are correct. A 5/4 trim board was used with a 1" drip cap.

    How much clearance between asphalt and LP Smartsuite should there be?

      Great question Rock! There needs to be a minimum of 1 inch clearance between the bottom of the siding and a hard surface such as asphalt or concrete. Clearance from grass or mulch for example should always be a minimum of 6 inches. Hope this helps!
