Well it was disappointing that he was never used again especially since he survived and that he was a creation of Agent Bishop, especially when Casey said “What’s the deal with this freak” and Leo says that he doesn’t know but he has seen those moves before and they never figured it out especially since that Bishop became good in the future and got redeemed for fixing Baxter’s mistakes but not with the Rat King and the man he turned into a monster. But when Splinter said about theses Slayers being flawed and probably kill non-aliens just like Colin Farrell in the Minority Report. I really like I,Monster episode this one I mean because it was fun but I really think they should have used this Rat King more often.
He should’ve gotten another dark episode where he teams up with the grotesque spider like monster formerly known as Finn so they would get their revenge on Bishop for their cruel creation by the madman. Finn would get a somewhat rather bittersweet ending while Rat King seemingly dies, again.
I would not know. Excluding the original comic. As with the previous 90s version, the Rat King never convinced me as a character. Was there any point in showing it in the final episode? Right now the only Rat King that convinces me is the one from 2012.
The 2003 and the 2012 series have the best versions of this character. The first is a deranged and traumatized super soldier with an identity crisis and the second one is a selfish scientist turned psychic psycho with a god complex. Both have two similarities: Rats and untapped potential.
Thanks for watching!
What are your thoughts on this Rat King compared to the others?
I have to say, the TMNT 2003 version of this character is probably my favourite. Great video, as always.

This version gives me some serious Weapon X vibes.

The biggest baddest villain in Ninja Turtles 2003 history.
Like the rat king is always a outcast of society in every version of him
Interesting how for every single Rat King video you use THE SAME MUSIC
It's his theme (in my head). :)
Although, I also use it for IDW's Oroku Saki.
