I can't say I agree with all of Peter Lairds opinions, but I actually do think Peter was right for Hun to turn on Shredder after learning he's an outrom, it gave Hun room to grow further, plus it makes sense that Hun would feel betrayed that he was secretly working for one, and shredder never told his most trustful ally.
@@thespider-boy9497 Because Hun was more pissed off at the Turtles, blaming them for his mutation into Slash. Even Ch'rell/Shredder pointed out they had a common enemy again.
I truly think Hun is a great villain. Very intimidating and surprisingly smart and resourceful for a brute henchman. I love his design, fights with the turtles, ruthlessness, strength, cunning, and that he left his master to do his own thing and is now New York City's kingpin.
The Tengu Shredder may have been the original Shredder, but he wasn’t the One True Shredder. That title belongs to Ch’rell, the Utrom Shredder. Even Hun himself referred to Ch’rell as *_“The One True Shredder”_* in Turtles Forever. Hun still retained some measure of loyalty to the Utrom Shredder even after the reveal. When Hun was narrating the beginning of a subsequent episode, he referred to Ch’rell as *_“my late great master,”_* and credited Ch’rell for what Hun had learned and for what he was doing with the Purple Dragons.
Personally i feel like hun turning against the shredder when he found out he was an utrom makes sense. He saw the shredder/oroku saki as the only human stronger than him but then finds out that all that strength came from a robot and shredder(in his mind) was just a little alien slug, he has no reason to be loyal after that
Imagine Hun vs Kano from Mortal Kombat. Purple Dragons vs Black Dragons. Which dragon gang would win in a gang war? Which leader would win in a one on one battle?
Next 2003 videos will be about Fast Forward (hopefully in April). I am not sure when I am doing Alopex yet, we'll see what happens in the next months with the character. As for Venus, you mean IDW or Next Mutation? I am planning on an original Venus video later this year.
Thanks for bringing the Garbageman, you think that when Hun turned into a turtle monster that he would be the show’s Slash that since turtles can live over a hundred years that he would lived up to Fast forward era that he had Alzheimer’s that he doesn’t remember his name and that he would team up with Darius Dunn and the Dark turtle clones. I thought he would wondered about the Shredder that he had worked for hated the Utroms so much that he is an Utrom so I guess that’s why he cut off the foot clan ties. Who would you think can win in a fight Hun or Wilson Fisk aka the Kingpin?
If I had to guess why he was loyal for so long, well for starters, he was successful, and that probably came with good rewards. Second, he seems to have genuinely enjoyed the work before the turtles showed up and the job not only got harder, but much more complicated.
This isn't the first time I've heard the idea of Hun taking up the Shredder armor, but him possibly being one of the Shredders in Tempus Fugit caught me off guard! Hell, given the episode with the magic ring, maybe he uses Tengu Shredder's armor?!
I remember when this series first aired, I thought that Hun was eventually going to be turned into Rocksteady. Glad they decided to not go that route and have an original character.
I covered most foot ninjas in my "what is the foot clan" video. But if you are only interested in their story, I recently covered the history in the Splinter video. Since everything is connected to Splinter, I am not sure if I should make another Foot clan 2003 related video. But I'll see what I can do.
Thanks for watching!
What do you think happened to Hun after Turtles Forever?
When does Lean, Green Smackdown Machine take place?
@@lucasgibbs4050 Around the second season.
I like to think Hun is still out there somewhere but I don't really know whether or not he's still alive so it hard to say for sure
I can’t seem to find Shredders Wars at the moment. If anyone has an English version of Shredders Wars at a decent price on Ebay, that would be great.

The Tengu Shredder was named "the one true Shredder" by the Mystics.
I guess it makes sense why Hun kept failing the Shredder...
He was GAMING the whole time. Respect👏
I was today-years-old when I learned that Hun's mutant form is actually the 2003 incarnation of Slash.
Same
I honestly didn’t even realize that’s what that was suppose to be until now
Hope he appears in the mutant mayhem sequel

They turned hun into ed from ed, edd, and eddy
Honestly if they removed the conjoined twin plot, Han being related to Garbageman could've happened.
Yah they could have Just say there was an accident that Hun left him for dead for
What's really shocking is the unaired episode where we find out the garbage man is Hun's conjoined twin!
I wish garbage man was developed more as a major turtles villain in the idw comics along with poacher jack Harlow snok and bone steel
Garbage man, kidnapper of homeless to make them build shit for him, yeah thats the kind of slightily more grounded and gritty plot that I like on tmnt

Tmnt 2003 was my childhood, thanks for covering some of the aspects of characters. Really fun video.
I was surprised he never knew Shredder was an Utrom this whole time!
hun was a great arch-enemy for casey jones, but in the idw comics, it was dumb that he was casey's father.
I seriously doubt if the Shredder valued Hun's loyalty over Kurai's.
Elfinator looks like The Green Goblins short and greedier brother!
