Man I love videos like these so thank you for this. I collect and have a ton of classics and gems but you always miss some and this video made me pick up a copy of The Punisher👍🏾
I bought Xyanide last year and it wasn't very cheap. It's a little higher than average price last year. Complete copy runs about $60. But it's worthy of this list and worth the price if you appreciate shooters. Nice list!
Second Opinion Games hate that its a NTSC exclusive :( But we here got knights of the temple 2 as a PAL exclusive (Its one of the rarest xbox games over here)
My favorites that I don't think were very popular were Brute Force and Otogi 2, there was also Yager, but I don't have clear memories of how the gameplay and how it would hold up. Brute Force was the perfect companion to Halo for me, was surprised to learn it wasn't popular!
I was hoping for a second that Metal Arms: A Glitch in the System was number 1, but I've got no idea how well known it was, just that I LOVED it. Especially the sweary mechanic guy. Loved Cold Fear. I've told so many people to get a copy. After I finished it I tried to play it on that crazy hard skill level and got one shotted by the first guy I met and peed myself laughing and thought... ok, I got the message. I really loved the original X-Box era. Some of the game menus are bloody terrible but the games had charm and individuality. I have such nostalgia for Jeff Gerstmann and Brad and Greg Kasavin's Gamespot reviews. And of course that big fantastic lump of madness, Ryan Davis. And I've got shoulder buttons on my S controller. I drilled through and added switches and soldered them to the board. It's easy to have never known that the buttons on the original Xbox are pressure sensitive but hardly anything used them. All I remember is being able to lower your gun in Metal Gear if you let off slowly. Really enjoyed this video. And yeah, going to get The Punisher and Kill Switch. Thanks!
@@SecondOpinionGames1 I put the shoulder buttons on the S so I wouldn't sully The Duke. Just holding that lardy bastard makes me smile. If Batman accidentally picked one up and thought it was a baterang he'd dislocate his shoulder trying to throw it.
Count Drunkula You need to get The Punisher and also Darkwatch! My favorite games on the system (also incredible hulk ultimate destruction is insanly fun as well)
The Xbox version had way better graphics, textures, and online play at the time. However. The PlayStation 2 version had an exclusive 2 player split screen Co-op Campaign mode. The Xbox version did not have a Co-op campaign mode whatsoever. And that's a bummer. :/
I got me a modded Xbox with one terabyte of memory and I instantly installed the punisher he’s one of my favorite anti-heroes and when I saw he got a game i was a bit skeptical but once I saw videos and reviews I couldn’t wait to play it I mean it’s a badass game and my favorite Marvel Anti-Hero it’s perfect
I think the good games to play are the ones before xbox live became a must have. Once xbox live became to be, game developers didn't focus on the off-line modes as much. That's why I feel games made around 2004 and later aren't worth playing because the developers developed those game to be played online.

I love tenchu so I bought red ninja also and really liked the game glad i got it when i did it rose up in price I have it on ps2 tho just recently got an original Xbox again

Are these "hidden on disk gems" or are these just "games people forgot about and you like them" ....... cuz microsoft calls Hidden Gems secret game.xex files that are stored on old Original Xbox Game disks. There are many of these and some are rare Arcade ports and whatnot. I'm looking for a list of these, but i keep finding people's personal preferences publicized.
cant take ur list serously sinse you didnt put ninja gaiden black on it a sealed copy is like 300 bucks and it's the best of all the modern ports including the recent ps4 and xbox edition's team ninja lost the code so that's it baby u got it on box or 360 with the backwards compatible patch
The Punisher is my all time favorite OG Xbox game, was pretty sad when my old Xbox dvd drive dies and couldn't played this game anymore, so I managed to get one copy of PC version, but some aspects of the game just doesn't play well on PC, this game is also backward compatible on 360 but it has frame rate issues, same problems for the PCSX2 emulator, the game really play best on OG Xbox which is why I bought another Xbox but modded just so I can keep playing this game.
UbiSoft is obviously bigger & better than crapcom,Ubisoft are a worldwide powerhouse (stop talking like Japanese games were gods when they obviously aren’t & instead are the worst games ever made)these are facts.
Cold fear is obviously better than the overrated 💩 resident evil 4(plus in cold fear you can move & aim,something the outdated 💩resident evil 4 can’t do plus it doesn’t have annoyingly lame characters like in every Japanese games)these are facts.

Brute Force was a better 3person shooter for it’s time but sadly doesn’t hold up after gears of war and the uncharted games.
I play the Punisher game in PC 15 years ago, and it was fantastic, was like playing in the comic book, and has the voice of Thomas Jane.
