I notice you recommending GTR Lighting quite often and it is apparent why. However, when you compare the price difference among the top competitors, GTR Lighting is significantly more. They really need to work on that... Plus accessibility is an issue. I shouldn't be required to by direct from GTR Lighting.
We offer all of GTR Lighting's products right here on our website! :) We love GTR Lighting due to the quality and performance of their products. They deliver great results back to back and have been an incredibly dependable bulb compared to many competitors. Many of the GTR Lighting products come with a Lifetime Warranty as well, which is incredibly nice to know you'll never need to worry about replacement lights ever again! :) Thanks for the comment!
One of the best benefits of having an LED in an overhead light assembly, especially when your passenger needs it at night, is being directional, so you won't have that moment of blinding light inside the car before your eyes adjust to it.
My vanity mirror lights called for a 31mm bulb. So I tried to replace it with a 31mm led. Needless to say it was too large. I tried a 28mm one and it fit perfectly.

I TRIED TO REPLACE THE INTERIONR LIGHTS IN MY DOME LIGHT IN MY 2002 FORD FOCUS, AN THEY WONT COME ON BUT I KNOW IT WORKS CAUSE THE BULBS THAT CAME IN THE CAR WORK FINE . SO CAN U TELL ME WHAT MY PROBLEM IS ?
I did GTRLightning interior swap in my 2016 Toyota Tundra for about $80. Two T10 bulbs started flickering and died after 2 weeks and one more after a month. Supposedly it was bad batch, so they did send me replacement. After 2 months, 2 new bulbs are already gone. I was expecting better quality bulbs at this price tag. Good video though.
Martin, indeed we did experience a bad batch earlier this year with some GTR Lighting bulbs, not all. If you want to try something else that is more satisfactory to your needs, please email returns@HeadlightRevolution.com and we'll get you taken care of.
I see on your site for the Toyota's, there isn't anything for the Highlander? I would like to replace all interior lights for my 2018 Hybrid Highlander XLE with simple white LED. The cargo one should be brighter than the rest of interior lights. Please recommend which make/models?
Seeing the performance of those 10 led 194 GTR ultra series convinced my ass to put them in the notoriously dim FD rx7 gauge cluster.....waiting on them to install.
Is there a 501 LED that's got a frosted lens? So the light is more diffused as my side light in the car is open so the LEDs are very visible and looks a bit harsh. A frosted one would be great. It's in a 2006 Ford Fiesta so needs to be safe to work

Thanks for the video Chris, I just ran across this. What would you recommend for a 1995 Toyota T 100? Truck is too dark when I need more light... dome light is horrible.
If you ensure that your headlights are properly aimed, You're not going to have any trouble. Especially with Lexus headlights, Those tend to be pretty great.
They are dimable to a point, but like all LEDs they will eventually shut down when the voltage gets too low. Let us know if you have any other questions!
At the end where you were with the led festoon with the heatsink, I think that's how I blew my dome/horn fuse. I didn't realise it couldn't touch anything, so is it better to unclip power first and make sure you put it in correctly before turning on? Also what can't touch what exactly the heatsink can't touch the 2 metal + and - or the assembly as a whole? Why do they have big heatsinks on them if they going to trip fuse? I'm confused educate me please!
If they are blowing the fuse, it would definitely be recommended to turn off the bulb before installing it. I would say that you should be able to orientate the bulbs in a way that the heatsink on the bulb is not touching the bulb shroud, and then they will not cause any short! I don't know why your website doesn't have an option to choose between lumin that matchs traditional bulb/festoon lumin & other higher lumin?! because sometimes higher lumin for the interior ruins the interior atmosphere!
I would disagree, I would say that you can never have too much light inside the vehicle! It would make sense that you do not turn them on while driving though, as that bright of a bulb could be distracting at night for sure! As long as you do not turn them on while driving, the added light output will change your life when looking for things you have dropped on the floor of the vehicle! I put Sylvania LED lights in my map lights in my Chevy Sonic at night time I can see a tiny little glow from the lights how do you stop that in turn them off 100%?
LED headlights are great. For the interior these lights would be way too bright. Especially driving at night. If you turn on your overhead interior lights at night you'd get blinded. Well that's what I'd think.
Ok tell me why after i changed every single interior light with red led lights.. im talking everything from the lights in the steering wheel buttons to window buttons.. everything. But all the leds work great except for 2 lights on the ac panel. Cant figure it out.. has been doing it for months. They just have a mind of their own.. headlights and tail lights work fine, that circuit is not spliced or anything so im stumped. Tried different led’s but natta…
What about ghost lighting? I've replaced regular bulbs in my smart cars dome light and now the light stays on if the switch is set to "door". I'm guessing that the stray voltage running through the dome unit is enough to make the new LED bulb "glow" but not light totally like when the door opens.
Normally that happens because the circuit is looking for "feedback" from the original bulb, or uses the filament inside the bulb as a short-to-ground to shut down the circuit. If you have something like that happening, you need an LED bulb with CANBUS integration built in. Email us with your vehicle info and the problem you're having and we'll be happy to make some recommendations! sales@HeadlightRevolution.com
