Step 1) Restart your PC
Step 2) Switch render resolution to balanced or performance mode
Step 3) Switch to Windowed Mode & lower down resolution
Step 4) Set all video settings to medium/low
Step 5) Lower max frame rate to 60 or even 30
Step 6) Turn off cross play
Step 7) Turn off the Steam overlay, close all other overlay apps
Step 8) Run the game on dedicated graphics card
Step 9) Perform clean installation of graphics card drivers

Step 10) Increase the virtual memory

My GTX 1650 "Super" is running this smoothly for all intents and purposes, obviously with most things set to low. Was 4h in and then suddenly when I turned around my buddies went invisible along with the enemies. Managed to get some things back by changing the settings and/or restarting my PC. I think it's a combined issue with GPU and CPU bottlenecking each other, but definitely an optimization issue in here somewhere( this should be expected in the early days of a game, when you think of all the possible combinations of builds out there).

Thanks for the extensive list. Unfortunately nothing helped for me. My specs is above minimum, and my game runs fluidly with high textures but medium shadows and low extra settings
Sometimes my own character is visible but sometimes not. The enemies are allways invisible.
Either I have to grab the "recommended" aspecs or wait for a graphic drive update for the game. Sucks owning a low quality pc nowadays XD

This helped with the intro temporarily before encountering the issue again. It was helpful, but didn't solve the problem entirely. I do meet the minimum requirement for game specs so I am wondering if this is a game issue not a PC issue since so many people are encountering this glitch.

As I understand it, it is a Vram problem but I have tried other games that need the same or more Vram than this one and they have worked, with low fps but they work

Hey man it’s totally a game a problem, I can run triple A titles from RDR2 to cyberpunk at high settings on my Acer Nitro 5 laptop but space marine 2 struggles sometimes, definitely a game problem with how many people are having problems

A ton of games are still super playable even without meeting minimum VRAM requirements, it has to be the game

It's the game. It's poorly optimized for low to mid range PCs and laptops.

I think it's a mix of computer problems and a game bug, I definitely think this is a bug tho, but my computer is also under minimum recommended

Literally every enemy is invisible, and it's gotten to the point where I'm just good at killing them while they are invisible also nothing worked... obviously

What I've found was changing the resolution will disable some enemy textures and enable others so when a shooter one is there and all the melee are killed I switch over to one where I can only see the shooter
