- Taking a look at a custom image shared with me and it is impressive!
Game Collection is called "Melasu" and the image is "Melasopla" created by Team Ruka.

This is good. And the idea of having games on the Egret which are already on other Mini consoles opens the idea of a Versus City based competitive gameplay.
The parameters you need to add for screen rotation within retroarch is in the CFW release notes, along with the controls fix, just in case anyone was wondering =)

I don't have the energy right now, but I definitely will try several hacks that you covered in your channel so far (CRS and Egret II for sure!). And would definitely be interesting in upgrading my hacked MSX X and/or ASP :D (open to beta test too).

This really embarrassing, but I was convinced that you were FakeMaria :P We did exchanged a few words and stuff on occasion at the usual place, so it's no wonder you couldn't place me haha.
We did benefit from the videos you started uploading (a few here I think and others shared directly on the app).
So although this was an embarrassing case of mistaken identity, I am still very grateful for all of your awesome contributions, back then and until now with your channel.
I can't wait to hack several things, including the Capcom RS, Taito Egret, upgrade for the MVS X's hack + ASP, etc.
I had a little time while recovering from a Covid case that nearly got me and am unfortunate quite recent stroke, and both Astro Minis are pretty much hacked (I created a subreddit for that goal). It's not really ready for end users, but it may interest Ruka; if so I'll give them everything and might end up being something that would interest your viewers.

No worries man - it’s always good to hear the impact the videos make and even reconnects old acquaintances. The most viewed video I’ve posted is the NEOGEO mini one which is essentially @fakemaria offering the tutorial.

Did you also add your own games like mame078 Romset? If so, did it automatically arrange itself into those (already) set categories like Tate, fighters, shooters, trackball games, etc? Or is it done manually? Thanks in advance! This looks great 😃.

This was a custom image that was all sorted out, I’d imagine someone went through the trouble of organizing it all that way. I don’t remember if we got wifi/networking running on it.

Hello and thanks for the video! Do the games for the spinner controller work properly? If I try any spinnergame with the controller, the spinner itself does not work and the trackball works instead, but extremely slowly. Any hints on the way yo have proper mapping and calibration for the spinner to work? Again, thank you.

Hello! Can you please tell me that after the image is transferred the Sd Card becomes smaller than the original size of the card? After the transfer, my 64 card had approximately 3gb. Can you tell me how do I add more games?

I guess it did.
Attention has definitely shifted to other projects but that’s why all the work is open-sourced so that someone capable can tinker and make improvements.
will it work only work on the japanese version or also on the oter ones from the egret II mini?
At the time, it was only available via import from Japan. I’d imagine they’re all the same as they would all share the same
Firmware.

Burn into a microsd card
Neat! What if I wanted to flash this 32 Gb image to a bigger card (e.g. 512 Gb) for adding more roms later? I'm thinking about Daphne... Anybody did it? Thank you!
Yeah should be possible to use a larger card and partition it out so you can use the extra space. I actually haven’t seen anyone run Daphne though - worth checking out!

Is there SD card image that includes ROMs if I have 64GB sdcard or do I need have my own ROMs? Do I need PC and USB cable for this or can we just write image to SD card and boot it with Egret II Mini? Is it possible use SD card or USB drive?😊
I’m sure there are images out there but the work done here is made for you to pack it up with your own content.
@@neocvera Yes. I done it with Raspberry pi400 retropie, Analogue Pocket and RG351.
Mostly thinking of those Arcade Horizontal and vertical because there’s so many Mame roms it’s difficult put those to different folders what’s horizontal and what’s vertical. Now everything mixed at same place. Understand it need to be hacked so it can boot from SD card. Maybe one day there’s ready image that you can write to SD card just like there was for Neo Geo Arcade stick pro.
Basically any premade batocera image should work

We are in telegram,but as I said before, the team only did the open software batocera.

Can you please tell me how to insert more games? I transferred the image to a 64gb sd card, but when I went to open that sd, it was around 3gb and I couldn't find a place where I could put new roms. The batocera image transfer drastically reduced the size of my sd card.
For windows users is simple. After first batocera boot,extract sd card, format the share partition in fat32/exfat,insert again into the mini and boot. It will recreate the whole folder structure and windows can read the partition

Well it wasn’t done by team ruka because they only do software. In fact it was mainly build by Cisko from BoB team
