Great video. I bought roof bars for my Panamera and the owners manual had scarce directions in it. It wasn’t until I broadened my TH-cam search by deleting Panamera that I found your video. Showing the removal of the hole plugs was my “aha” moment. Easy peasy to install. Glad I didn’t get an aftermarket set of bars. Very well made and perfect alignment. Thanks much.
I'm pretty sure the regular Cayenne has different roof rack. The regular Cayenne has roof rails on either side of the car that the crossbars attach to.
It only fits Cayenne Coupes. I still have my rack if you would like to purchase it from me? Otherwise you can purchase them from your local Porsche Dealership.
Hey! Thanks for the comment...I don't notice any wind noise through the doors. However the racks themselves make noticeable wind noise. Hope that helps
Thanks for the video! are the racks level with one another? seems like the rear rack may be lower than the front, ie, if you put a roof top box or a bike carrier, is it level with the ground, or does cargo tilt upwards.
@@ToddBickling Thank you so much for your reply. It sounds great to me. I may try to put a rubber pad in the middle. Is that have enough space? Because I got red color paint real EZ to get scratch.
yes they are...It's hard to tell because of the sloping roof line. But check out this video and you'll see they are parallel. th-cam.com/video/XDnsWAYGFJ8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=RblaF6U305rBhDkB BTW, I sold the Porsche and still have the crossbars...they are for sale.
Sorry for the delay is responding, I just saw the question. I got the racks straight from the Porsche Dealer. I believe they were like $700...but I could be mistaken...call your local Porsche dealer to find out. Again, sorry for the delay.
They are 21" O.Z. Superturismo's with Continental Pro-contact all-seasons. The OEM rims are 23" rims and only take either summer or winter tires. No All-season option.
I probably made it harder than it should have been...but you're right...it was pretty easy...and I did it without looking at any instructions...I just have to keep reminding myself that Germans make everything with a purpose. As long as I remind myself of that...everything makes sense! ;)

That's great! Thanks a lot for the comment! I'm glad it helped. Surprisingly, I think this is my most commented on video! 😆
Thanks!
Welcome!
Thank you!
Nice! What kind of wheels are those?
They’re OZ wheels. Got them on Tirerack.com
Does this product fit the normal cayenne?! Not the coup?! Please and thank you

@@ToddBickling mine does not have roof rails! I found a thule option for mine, but I would love the OEM ones
Hello where can I buy this rack , will it fit my 2016 cayenne ?

@ToddBickling hi Todd, I'll buy the roof rack if you still have it.
Did you notice any wind noise through the doors with the add on?

Hey Andrew, The racks are level...check out this video with a roof top cargo box on the Cayenne.

Will the clasp on edge hurt the paint? Because I'm using a sucker roof rack right now.
when I took it off there were some marks on the paint but a little scratch remover and polish took care of it.

The small roof holes mated to the little posts in the gripping hinges ensures perfect alignment.
Where did you brought the rack?
How much it cost? I have the same Porsche Cayenne turbo

@@ToddBickling would that roofer work with second GEN Porsche Turbo? I don’t mind drilling the holes for the pegs
@@ToddBickling what year is your Cayenne?
Did you have the key come with you in the package? My package does not have the key.
Yes the keys came in a little pocket inside the case. As well as a little black plastic tool to remove the plugs in the door frame.
@@ToddBicklingThank you. I found the key, it was in a hidden place inside the bag😂😂

Look amazing, curious if you could tell us the width/side wall specs too.
Do you have the part number?
I don't. sorry
Too easy
