Sure, why not. I passed on paying $70+ for the real one but just went and grabbed one of these for $34 on ebay after watching your review. I've been watching G1 with my wife, which I haven't seen since I was a kid over 30 years ago. We are a handful of episodes away from "The Girl Who Loved Powerglide" and I like the idea of whipping out this figure right when the episode ends and showing her the stupid heart in his chest feature.
one of the small pleasures i get is to turn on the auto english subtitles and see how they translate your intro: "Hello everybody-". in this video it's written as "Hello Rehim"... whoever he is.
DIECAST NORBZ here! Ben, how are your tolerances on the joints and the clips on the wings that hold the back together in bot mode? I have the DX9 version but I’ve found that my original version is kinda loose on a few points. 🤗
Just recieved mine last week and call it a KO but it's just as good as the DX9 and less the price! Totally worth it! As far as the details, mine didn't have any flaws.....even Takara isn't perfect
Just saw that you had a review on this. I just got Powerglide about 2 weeks ago. funny thing you had the same experience with the pin falling out the thruster joint. the exact same thing happened to me!! Baaaahh. All in all a great KO!!
@@rayshirley6177 yep, pledge floor care I think it's called now. Just put a layer on the pin and let it cure for a day. Use a magnet to hold the pin upright and paint the polish on trying to keep the coat even and not let it slide to 1 end. Once it cures reinstall the pin and if it's still a bit loose do another coat till it's good and snug
I like the aod better. I think the eyes pop much better. For the price I’ll take it everyday. To my eye I don’t see any difference in the details. And I enjoy the stiffness. Feels more expensive to me. Looser equates to cheaper to me.
Just received my KO version and its great the chest part is really hard to pull out so i have not transformed him yet may try warming him up with a hair dryer to help with getting that part to open up and not break ....but love it just the same if its only in bot mode
I really hope you didn't try heating it as it's not necessary. There's a screw in the chest that just needs to be loosened a little bit t allow the piece to be pulled out further. Takes about thirty seconds.
I've got this version on pre order. So hopefully not log before it comes. I've also got the other KO on its way. So witch ever one I like better I'll probably sell the other one.
It's not when you have a good masterpiece representation of a character you love. If you don't care about it that much then buy the ko and don't contribute to the next one. That's fine.
Justin Linett you think it’s a good representation of a masterpiece and that’s fine. You are also willing to pay for something thats not worth 80$, that’s fine. I will stick with my fans toys IP infringement representation of transformers because at least they give you quality toys for a good price.
I just opened mine yesterday to find that it had two right rear wings installed. So the left rudder is down and the right is up normal. Pretty disappointing.

Picked this thing up for $25 and change. If you still have this you should loosen the chest screw so you could flip it easier.

Nothing a bit of floor polish can't fix
Floor polish will help the rod stay in place and let the joint move without any issue?

Also works to snug up any loose joints on all sorts of figures
I got the Pocket Toys ko. Not held the dx9 one for comparrison. The red plastic could maybe be a bit darker, but it's a great figure for £25.
