    For Rumble/Frenzy, for extra stability they have flip out heel spurs, which can be seen at 7:09. Otherwise it's almost impossible to get him to stand up.

      If you don't have the original, then he's very good but, if you have the original, you can tell them apart immediately as the paint is far superior on the Fans Toys version. If you pick him up, even when blindfolded, you can tell them apart as the Fans Toys version is 1.5 pounds heavier. Yes, that's 1.5 ounces heavier. I have my Fans Toys version, in a box, and as soon as I opened the KO, I knew something was off with the weight so I weighed them. Was not expecting it to be 1.5 ounces but, he's definitely lighter. If you only have the KO, he's very good, especially for the price. I bought the KO for the cassettes as it's only $20 more than just the Fans Toys cassettes. Am I disappointed, yes and no. Yes, I'm disappointed as these reviews made it look like it was a 90 - 95% exact copy when it isn't. The look is there but, the feel isn't there as the plastic also feels cheaper. Am I happy, yes, because now I have the cassettes and a Soundwave I can display without worries if something was to happen. For the price, he's worth it. When comparing the two, this is like a 70% as he'll pass but, it's not an exact copy as paint, plastic and diecasts are all inferior. Then my copy has very loose joints so that's a negative. If I pick him up, his legs just drops without me even touching it. I fixed this issue with some Kiki's loose joint.

      @@saysoun752 How good are the KO cassettes? I might pick this guy up along side Acoustic just to have the KO as the alt mode and have his cassettes in robot mode, but are they a decent substitute or are the original cassettes better?

    • @saysoun752
      @saysoun752 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@flameconvoy7424 They're both good as the originals were very good and these are even better. I like the diecasts and paint and my figures were actually tight and not all loose. Even if the joints were loose, I have Kiki's loose joints as that thing will tighten it up like it did my KO Acoustic Wave. That's the one I have on display now and keep my original in the box.

      @@mayonotes9849 I gave him to a friend of mine for a Christmas present. I'm actually having a friend of mine repaint my Deformation Space Blaster and having him turned into Twincast. He's already turned two of my Jetfire into Milia Fallyna Jenius and Roy Focker of Macross. I like it as he takes it completely apart, strips the old paint and then repaint the entire toy to make it look brand new. He started as a hobby as he's always hand painted figurines but, he then bought himself an airbrush machine and is doing it by machine now. Oh, totally forgot, I've got Soundblaster on pre-order from ShowZstore along with the tapes. Pre-ordered him as soon as he went up.

    Thanks for the review! It was the reason I bought one. Got mine today and it’s pretty great especially after unscrewing and flipping the legs to the proper orientation so that transformation works out properly. I have a loose left elbow joint up to about 90degrees then it tights up nicely so I’ll have to figure out how to tighten that up on the lower portion. Not bad for the price though compared to the original FanToys. I have some ToyHax decals coming for it as well. I do wish the cassettes were better. I prefer the look of the official MP ones but too bad that they won’t fit in this one’s tape deck.

      That's pretty expensive for a KO. Hopefully it's doesn't have any QC issues. I bought my Acoustic Wave brand new for $215, authentic version, and I'm loving it. Didn't get the cassettes as I didn't think they're worth the extra $90 as my Takara Tomy sets are more than good enough. I also picked up both Thomas and Quietus, Astrotrain and Cyclonus, for $235. Which is a freaking steal, although I'm not getting a box, which I'm totally ok with. A seller needed money and offered them to me and I bought them immediately.

      @saysoun752 you wouldn't be able to tell the difference from the Fanstoys version. When i boughtmy soundwave i looked around and I saved $60 getting the version i got. The quality is great! I also got the off-brand version of Thomas for a lot less than the Fanstoys.

    • @saysoun752
      @saysoun752 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jeremynelson7920 That's good to know. I thought about getting Thomas but, I'm glad I didn't as I ended up getting a much better deal simply because I waited. The thing I love about Fans Toys, price definitely isn't one of them, especially if they reissue it, is the premium feel and paint application. I don't have any KOs to compare it to but, the paint is something else. Now, I do have several KOs of Takara Tomy's Transformers as some of them are just stupid crazy expensive, like Megatron. Nothing against KOs, as I do have several, I just have to look up reviews before buying as some aren't very good. BensKillectibles is a great channel for Fans Toys KO while I think it's Rocket Punch Army? is great for Takara Tomy.

    Whats the difference between the RP-01 & the RP-46? I have only compared the cassettes but let me tell you there is a huge difference in the cassettes that come with the RP-46 & the RP-01B Cassetteicons pack! The major difference with the cassettes are the joints are loose like you showed but its in all of them not just Frenzy! Ravage has his feet upside down & is very loose! The cassettes in the RP-01B pack are very tight & everything is correct! Is the RP-46 & cassettes made by the same company as the RP-01? Its all confusing!

    Are there die-cast parts or not?

    • @saysoun752
      @saysoun752 ปีที่แล้ว

      If he's the same as the Fans Toys, which they usually are, there's a lot of die-cast parts. Mine weigh in at 653 grams while my original Takara Tomy Soundwave was only 363 grams. So, he's 290 grams heavier. The toys are the exact same size but, the look and feel are totally different.

    • @saysoun752
      @saysoun752 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ok, finally got my KO Soundwave and while he looks the part, you can definitely tell which is the KO and which is the real Fans Toys. First off, it's much heavier as the Fans Toys version is 1.5 pounds heavier than the KO version. Second is the paint, if you don't have the original, it's very nice but, if you have the original, then you'll notice the quality of the paint immediately as the Fans Toys paint is just so much brighter, darker and shinier. So, to answer your question, there's diecasts but, I'm not sure about the innards as it's 1.5 pounds lighter so my guess is diecasts where it can be seen and plastic where it's not. I bought him for the cassettes as the Fans Toys cassettes were $100 for the recruiter set whereas this KO, which comes with all the cassettes, cost me $120 so I said why not. The cassettes are very loose but, a little joint tightener does the job perfectly. I'll just display the KO and keep my original in the box. If something happens, it'll happen to the KO version.

    • @saysoun752
      @saysoun752 ปีที่แล้ว

      Very loose, at least on my copy. If I pick him up by the chest or waist, his legs would just drop. This isn't an issue with my original Fans Toys. However, one was $120, with 3 cassettes while the other cost me $250 with only a cassette, so it's more of quality vs cost. The KO version is also 1.5 grams lighter so there's definitely something different. Paint also isn't as good and if you have both, you can spot it a mile away as one is brighter, darker and shinier than the other and it's very noticeable. However, if you only have the KO, people probably won't notice as it's still a very good copy.

      The KO is actually quite nice, for the price, as I got mine for only $120. My Fans Toys version cost me $250. Yes, you can tell which is the KO just by looking and you can definitely tell by picking him up, even blindfolded, as he's 1.5 pounds lighter than the original Fans Toys. If you don't like the Fans Toys Soundwave, I have no idea what you'll like as he's a very toon accurate toy to me, especially with the added 3D chest piece. You could also make him look almost like the Takara Tomy Soundwave with the added add on pieces. I like both so I kept them both. Takara Tomy Soundwave for the toy look while Fans Toys for the toon. My original Fans Toys will be going back into the box while my KO will be on display.
