Thank you! although it was slightly different for the Mini pro it ended up working. So fyi for anyone. If your gimbal starts to stutter/shake midflight cable will eventually fail. I crashed my drone and gimbal still worked for a while after, then it started to stutter during flights and eventually gimbal was failing completely but camera was 100% fine. I replaced the cable today and everything works like new! no error codes to.

If you still have stuck gimbal, the problem still not fix. I know if hard to find out without the tools. You should have cable tester tools first. Link in the description
I have one same issue with my Mavick 3 Mini. My sister crashed it, and I saw one of the mini cables ripped apart. Could I not get it solded and joint the cables Back together? I mean, the cut appears at simple eye view. Or do I have to replace the whole cable?

I was able to fix my gimbal after replacing the ptz cable. But now I can't focus the camera no matter what I do, even manual focus does not work. Would it be safe to assume that if even a single ptz wire on the camera connector section is broken that it can render the camera's ability to focus as useless? There are about 20 wires going straight to the camera alone. If anyone wants to chime in on that possibility please respond. There are very few threads even covering this. If we could save eachother some money that would be great thanks
@@melroy16 No guarantees but I did manage to fix the focus issue. You need to make sure that the PTZ cable end going to the camera inside the gimbal has a very secure and snug connection(keep in mind that the PTZ cable has about 20 individual thin wires that control different aspects of the drone). To do that you need to carefully apply enough pressure with your fingers on the PTZ connection going to the actual camera. If I remember correctly you can even test the camera before re-assembling the drone by connecting it to your phone via Bluetooth. Then from there see if your dji fly app controls let you focus the camera in and out before reassembling it. If it doesn't try your best to fit the ptz cable connection to the camera until you get focus running again. Of course be very careful, those PTZ wires can be very fragile and you don't want to break any of them. When you get the desired result with your focus controls take your time reassembling the drone as any harsh wiggling of the hardware can potentially pull on the PTZ cable messing with the snugness of its connection to the camera. Lemme know how it goes

So, did i burned out my camera ? ... btw ... there is a cable (black and red) in 2.35, connected to the camera... i didnt see this cable... very strange ... maybe my drone was a different version. And... i have recently done this procedure with a mavic pro, and it was a successful! !!!
Things are fine!!! The problem was the cable.. Aliexpress sent me a bas cable. I hope next time they send me a good one! Wonderful vídeo!!!! ..the must hard part are to connect the 4 joints ❤

Hey. Do I need to remove the top of the drone in order to remove the plastic rubber protectors of the gimbal?

Unfortunately I break the red wire linked to the camera lens heating ring, could be the reason why there is a camera error?
