Right now my issue is that the gimbal moves around during the starting sequence but gives me the 4002 message once I connect my phone to it
Error 40002 is hardware error. You have to find the problem and the error will gone automatically
Ok so for people who just cant make their camera to go down or up and seems like its stuck and has debree in it. I think i found a solution where there is no need to open the drone. I cant open it as well cause the screws are way to tight.
So the solution i did was i tilt the drone where the camera is directed towards the ground and then i massage the camera up and down until i feel that there are no more stuck debrees inside the gimdal. I believe doing this somehow made my foreign object somehwhat fall on the ground as i was massaging it.
In any case i hope it fix your annoying problem.
Note that there are probably still small debrees inside which makes it kinda viable to open it up and clean it but yah. I just hope mine only has that single sand in it.

I was wondering if you have have to change the gimbal housing stabilizer, I've crashed my drone and the stabilizer broke one of its legs, and lost some rubber in the process.
I've bought the replacement of these parts, but then there's a roller which I'm afraid to disassemble since I might break it.
If you have any video on that please let me know.

I got right up until removing the cover from the drone camera and it’s just a steel plate so can’t lubricate the camera head! Process still fixed the issue by just lubricating surrounding parts
i did this to mine but before i even opened the gimbal i figured out it was the cable connected to the mobo. But thanks to you I know how to fix it!

When you Turn on the drone, the gimbal will turn so look which part of gimbal that work not correctly. Clear that part more then other part.
Becarefull to open check the screws all else it will broke guitar pick also help

Good afternoon. After the fall, I had to replace the 3in1 cable after it broke, but error 40002 did not disappear. After starting, the gimbal works on all axes and then the cable (3in1 which was replaced) gets stuck and starts to heat up in the place of attachment on the gimbal board (on top).

I just received a replacement mini 2 in the shrunk wrapped package and got gimbal stuck message right out of the box! I am not happy.
I tried this and the step by step was easy to follow. Thank you for that. Unfortunately it didn’t resolve the issue. My story, as many I’m sure, hit a tree and it fell and crashed. Replaced a propeller and tested it out and it worked great. Tried it again and then the stuck gimbal error occurred. Should I just send it to DJI? Or try something else? Appreciate any suggestions given.
Sure sometime it not working, but before you change gimbal, you should change both gimbal cable first because it cheaper and broken cable also can have stuck gimbal too. Good luck
luckily it was grass terrain, so the gimbal was just moved out of it's socket, if it was concrete it would be bye bye... my second crash and first drop from the sky -survived, uf

If you still have stuck gimbal error, It can be cable or gimbal itself
I have dji mavic mini . The problem in my drone was gimbal stuck and imu error (40002&40021) . After this problem , i change the whole gimbal set and 3in1 flex cable . But Bad luck its still not working like previous gimbal . Only top motor move when i start the drone . The roll and pitch motor don't response. Can you help me 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Check the cable too, the Flexible cable break also have error stuck gimbal

Always check cable first because it mostly broken and cheap too
Oh wow.... so the motors inside were trashed.... probably full of sand and microrocks... you stripped it all RIGHT DOWN to base components in the gimbal? Clean it off and put it back together for it to work?
That's super impressive honestly. A lot of patience for a lot of taking apart small motors and cables
It really work if your motor still working good. But if we just take it to the service center, they do the same thing but if it's not work, they will change the gimbal.

Motor is overload, change the motor. Error 40021? Is camera Serial number not match. We have to rewrite the serial number to drone.

Hi,
I replace the signal cable for camera of Mini 2. When turn drone on about one minute, the motor inside gimbal turned really hot, burn for touch. Is it normal? Or because I cannot recalibrate gimbal, somthe gimbal stuck, anh overheat?

There is nothing easy about that teardown. I just purchased a mini 3, and my first flight I have a stuck gimbal. What crap with no easy fix. What crap!
Good if you have DJI care. It not try to teardown and clean the gimbal. If don't know how to teardown watch my video 😂
@@djiSolutionsAs it turned out, although I removed the pieces of tape, I inadvertently neglected to remove that rubber insert that held the gimbal in place during shipping. Whew!
Same error here. But the gimbal also products a huge sizzling noise and abnormal heat when turned on, like it's trying to do something. I've already removed and cleaned just like your video but not using compressed air. Maybe that's the problem 🤔 I'll try using compressed air
If it not work, replace new gimbal.

Change that motor. Gimbal never overheat.

You can do that, it will work sometime but most of the time, you have to buy new one 😂

Tried everything and it did not work. After a few minutes the gimbal got really hot and I decided to remove the battery. Did I break anything?
Hot gimbal is overload motor error. you already clean it and it not work so you can change your gimbal

It is the flexible cable that case the stuck gimbal error.
I thought so, but after replacing I still get a gimbal stuck error, and a slight twitch back and forth from the camera.

Try to disassemble to gamble and clean the motor. Maybe it have some dust inside the gimbal.

Took mine off, smashed with a hammer, replaced with a refurbished one, seems to work ok now🙂

I blow some air from my mouth and you should apply some WD-40 if the motor is not working well.
@@djiSolutions ahh I see, well I just followed the steps. Didn’t see anything broken, maybe a bit tough moving up and down. Well put it together and had the same error. Oushed on the gimbal a little and it started working! So alls well that ends well 😁 couldn’t have done it without your guide! Thank you!
