I don't think the switch from Biden to Harris will have much effect on who people are inclined to vote for. However, I think Harris is likely drive a bigger turnout for some key demographics, namely black voters and suburban women. So she certainly has a chance.
If the worst critique of her people can come up with is about how she laughs, then I think she's doing well
I think 3 of the bigger problems are 1: She is very Californian, and Californian political and legal institutions are known to be horrifically incompetent. 2: She used to be a tyrant when it came to imprisoning people for insignificant things to fuel the prison industrial complex, like getting caught smoking weed. 3: She wasn’t ever voted in, Biden swore to have a black/brown woman as vice president and she never had to get votes to be a candidate this time as Biden dropped out after already winning the ticket.
This election will be mainly Trump focussed, if enough people hate him, whatever democrat candidate is available will win.

I keep hearing this but i don’t think its a great idea. It would probably just appear petty unless its true (which, as much as Trump talks nonsense, doesn’t appear to be true). It would basically be seen as the grownup equivalent of “i know you are, but what am i?”. Also, it’ll just come across as ageist to suggest a man with no visible age-related cognitive decline is unfit. Wouldn’t be received well by old voters.
