Este puente esta en pleno camino de Santiago, llamado camino Frances, es la Villa de Puente la Reina, Navarra, Pamplona España, muy buen escalador, uno de los grandes.
zimarron40 That's Spanish bouldering machine Nacho Sanchez. He was the only one campusing that section. And he did it every time. It was bold, risky, effective and spectacular.
Mr. Sharma just has that zen state of mind. You can kinda see when the other climbers get scared and bail, fearing that big dyno. And Chris just isn't. Extremely impressive. I am sure his training in Mellorca helped in that respect. Would have loved to see Klem Loskot there. Or Alex Huber.
No doubt that of all the participants Chris was the most experienced in DWS. All those days hitting the water in Mallorca must have helped. But Nalle did send the route too (shame I don't have it on video).
I though somewhat the same thing. The rest of the climbers didn't full commit to the dyno, they probably had all that distance between them and the water in the back of their heads.
For a second there I thought this video was suggesting they were using the the natural holds of the bridge, and not climbing holds attached to the bridge. Still crazy, of course.
This is so typical of how women operate: do nothing whatsoever worth anything, wait for some hero who risks everything and wins and then just stand next to him showing your goodies and act as if you deserve the fruits of his labor.
Soteriologist I didn’t make a single assumption about her, hence why I put a question mark at the end of my first comment. My only really claim was that it is irrational of you to make your assumptions of her on a short, ambiguous video like this. You simply haven’t enough information. An arrogant person like yourself can never gain deep understanding, so quick to assume with irrational confidence. Again I never did what I accused you of doing dumbass
I know I'm late but are they still doing this and for how much? My kid is eight years old now and he's been doing this kind of shit since he was about 3, I was thinking of letting him have a shot at it lol
My guess is that it doesn't make a huge difference, but you may be a bit more comfortable on one of the sides. And during the comp they had to switch sides for each attempt.
amazing! i just have a question, i have no background in rock climbing, bouldering or any thing, but deep water soloing seem pretty interesting. do i need to have any technical abilities to do deep water soloing?
At the end of the day DWS is climbing. So the skill set would be the same. My guess is that for DWS you gonna need a stronger mind in order to overcome the fear and be able to perform. If you haven't climbed before I would suggest you to visit a climbing gym and give it a try. Maybe sign up for a class. Keep in mind that you need to know what you're doing to keep yourself and your climbing partners safe. But regardless of the variety (sport climbing, bouldering, trad...) it is an awesome sport, make sure you give it a go.
Hum... interesting, never thought of Honnold (perhaps because he's the total opposite of a competition climber). I'm sure he'll be as cool as a cucumber but I've never seen him sticking a dyno, so who knows.
I've seen him sticking a few dynos (on youtube) but he's not the top echelon of boulderers, as he doesn't train specifically for it. I wonder if he would ever go train regularly for the competition route, I'd think his focus on outdoors big wall and alpine shenanigans would be all consuming (and way too rewarding) already.
OnBouldering Older very experienced alpinists Mark Synnot and Conrad Anker went to perform some first ascents on a mountain in Borneo. They took Alex Honnold with them as their "secret weapon", especially for crazy dynos. Alex is viewed by these giant alpinists, as "the boldest climber they ever met". Borneo, please /watch?v=3XmHz4UDtWc Chris Sharma made it? Nalle Hukkataival made it? Well, I'm 100% certain Alex Honnold would have made it too on that one.
Love watching Sharma climb. He just goes for things without hesitation, which is definitely something I struggle with.
Chris still is one of the best climbers its crazy how he still keeps up with the younger guys like Ondra
2:49 dude in red shorts... holy cow, what a move!

Pretty much, they were hanging chalkbags and shoes all over the place
I was gonna say...
Ivar Huisman nmkopop
Ivar Huisman Nah...Just spend a little more on waterproof chalk

Now I finally got evidence that static climbing doesn't get you anywhere! Those are amongst the most beautiful moves I ever saw!
great vid, thanks for posting!
I must be getting old I remember when this CS was just a kid LOL! WOW!
Great performance! Chris Charma is the best! I'm always puzzled how can he climb and hold himself using only his finger tips???!!!
ligiment strength
+Drew LoConte what does ligiment mean am I just really stupid
its not toooo hard
I can do it for like 10 seconds
Chris Sharma started climbing at the gym I go to. So cool to see what he has done :)
Cool, what gym is that? Must be pretty old (I guess it has change a lot since Sharma started).
It's called Pacific Edge, in Santa Cruz Ca.
Chris is one of the most unassuming, and humble persons that you could meet which I believe comes from his father, Bob and his late mother, Gita.
jesus christ.
Wahh Sharma ji ka beta 😀👍
that move at 2:50

The "old guy" made it! Nice Chis!
Also very nice sound track.
This video has a 90's feel to it.
whats with the porn music
lol why porn music!?
Jimmy Andersson Pretty sure Ive smashed to this track
lol ...
Bunch of half naked, well trained guys using their strong hands to grip big, hard stuff. I'd say the music is well chosen. 😆😆😆😆😆
Oh shit... Thats why my father was looking at me..
Sharma is the real spider man. Love watching him climb.
+ElektrobanK he's way stronger than spiderman :P
+OnBouldering haha, very true
Bravo Chris, well done.
Great video!

Also, of course he is like the dyno king and as you mention, has lots of experience with psyco block climbing.
after all this time he's still the best
sharma always rocks
For a second there I thought this video was suggesting they were using the the natural holds of the bridge, and not climbing holds attached to the bridge. Still crazy, of course.
This was fun to watch
Any information please about the construction at 1:20? It's custom made?
It's made by a Spanish company. They sell it at poderfacil.blogspot.com/ for 200€ (plus shipping). Just the structure, without holds or fingerboards.

My Thereabouts Whereabouts Button is now complete and finished at 4:50 PM on 11/3/2020
I guess for Chris was a bit like reliving the Es Pontas experience...which I belive nobody ever repeated...
dangerouswater Correct, Es Pontas remains unrepeated (and almost nobody has even tried)

Thank you for sharing my friend it’s so scary but I love to see it 🙏❤️👍🔔

Why the heck would they drill and add climbing holds on sucha an old romanesque bridge?
At the end. The first girl on the left... How you doin?
Joey Tribbiani over here

Soteriologist she was just celebrating with him?
Soteriologist laugh as you may, you’re still projecting a lot of assumptions from a little clip of her clapping. You sound like you got women issues

Why do my hands sweat whenever I watch these climbing vids (which is thanks to Alex Honnold btw)???
Especially when he's near and standing at the top 60 ft in the wind 😁✌️
interested it is!
Wat
+Mitchell Webber I mean it is very interested
+Braveheart Standhere 😂😂
Climbers out there, I'm curious does it make a difference for you whether you have to climb up from the left or the right side?
My guess is that it doesn't make a huge difference, but you may be a bit more comfortable on one of the sides. And during the comp they had to switch sides for each attempt.

it was a unique thing, quite spectacular!
great performance
+Madan nagesh Indeed, it was a great show
+OnBouldering especially the final hold from Chris sharma was amazing
