This here brought back fond memories of my deceased Mom. Memories I'll cherish for life. I remember one Saturday morning she made this with dumplings and ground provision and to this day it's the best meal I think I've ever had. I felt her love for me and my siblings with every bite. Thanks for sharing
I miss my grandma!! She used to put salt pork in her greens and cabbage. She would let the salt pork get almost rank Like almost fermented. Hands down the best greens and cabbage I’ve EVER tasted. Thank you for sharing this video. 🙏🏽
Previous month I was able to withdraw my first five figure income ever!!! I've been working for this company using the internet for 24 months now and I never been happier... They are paying me $95 per hour, and the most desirable thing about that is the fact I am not really that tech-savvy, they only required standard insight into internet and elementary typing skill...The best thing about this is the more free time I got with my kids. I am able to dedicate quality time with my relatives and buddies and take care of my babies and also going on vacation together with them very frequently. Don't neglect this chance and make sure to respond rapidly. Here is what I do *explore486.com*
I can't remember what year but I fell in love with your Curry beef and potatoes. I tried since then to make more of your recipes and here I am about to do this one. Thank you man for doing what you do.
Got some salted pork in the freezer! Mmmm...gonna try this recipe looks yummy. My granny used to use the salt pork and onions for her homemade pierogies! 😊
Nice recipe Chris! I'm going to try it with some turkey. I love make a lot of your hot pepper sauce recipes! I'm growing scotch bonnet and moruga peppers this year to make your hot sauces with! Great videos man!
protein? More a starch.. rice, roti, dumplings, ground provisions.. treat it as a side dish. I guess some grilled meats on the side or fish would be nice too
it's like cooking spam and cabbage. I do steam the spam slices to remove excess salt, B4 I dice and fry them; then add the cabbage; slow low cook for 2-3 mins with cover on, or till cabbage wilts. I just wanted to see this recipe; how it's done with salt pork. I had it in stew recipe with steamed rice in Hawaii. thank you
Yummy recipe,Chris...I love cabbage. I have a hard time finding smoked meats like smoked Turkey, pork hocks etc. here in Montreal. May one of your subscribers can help me.
@@lorriecloudsdale Note certain they have it out there but Maple Leaf has a brand of Salt Pork that is labelled Pork Cottage Rolls. Pretty easy to find in Toronto but I suspect that the vast majority of TO residents have no idea what it is. Could be the same where you are.
Woww we made it with salted pork which we called "fastback" the only thing is it didn't have much lean meat in it. I NEVER thought to put garlic or tyme in it or the scotch bonnet pepper. We USED onion, green bell pepper and small pieces of carrots. But I will try yours WITH the yellow pepper BUT not the bonnet.😂😂 LOVE your videos. I've learned a lot.
I followed directions, it was so bland, don't know what happened, thanks anyway for sharing. Not fun of curry either so didn't join neither had the other black pepper, but just tasted bland.
