G'day Kristen and Ethan I am also an 80 Series Cruiser owner and adventurer, I have subscribed to your channel, mainly to follow the engine rebuild, I am interested to see how you manage the rebuild of the 1hz in the 'Car Port' ~ hopefully you can/will make mention of the parts suppliers you use or recommend. As a older Cruiser owner, I also do all of the mechanical repairs that crop up on a high 'mileage' vehicle, my particular 80 Series has covered well over half a million Kilometres and much of this was here in the inland Pilbara.
