@MR MISTER you don't have to choose between get married and be single. You coul be in a healthy relationship choosing to love your partner everyday and knowing that you could leave anytime you became unhappy and without the problematic of a divorce.
No partner just walks out and says "I can't do it anymore" without a reason. If she was that blind-sighted by it, then she hasn't been the most observant person. Because there are SIGNS and problems before the person walks out...

I wouldn't confuse correlation with causality. The types of people who are more likely to divorce are selfish/headstrong/confident/financially independent ....and they're the sorts of people who are more likely to have flashy possessions 🚗 ⌚️🐴 and have a big wedding

It is not a whim if they have been feeling unhappy for a while, but it just means that they have not discussed it with their spouse/partner. We all know a lot of men are not good with communication and discussing their feelings and it is easier for some to vanish than to have to explain and to deal with a partner's distress and anger.
