The Apex games are more of a sport, the only legend that is specifically there as a punishment is Maggie, everyone elses reasons vary from finding out There past, they got sponsered so they can raise money for what ever reason, noteriety or in caustics case hè just wants somewhere where hè can experiment freely while trying to keep his identity secret for his past crimes, and then theres revenant who was put in the games by Hammond Robotics so hed stop murdering there staff
Rhapsody legend from Mobile was also forced into the Apex Games

Vantage has a cool but sad backstory as you watched but in all she’s a well built thawed out and determined legend just trying to get her mom out of prison.
She’s an easy person to root for 😊
They recently started hiring people to make a new game based in the apex legends/titanfall universe. Can’t wait to see what there concocting for us

I like the new intro. And I absolutely love your Apex Legends reactions. In response to your question about if there’s some corrupt government/entity in control that’s making them fight, yes and no. Not every legend is forced to be there. Some of them actually want to be there, like Octane, Valkyrie, and Fuse. I think the only legends that are actually forced to be there are Revenant and Mad Maggie. But there is a corrupt entity in control of the games: the Syndicate.

I have play the game a couple time. As I understand Apex takes place sometime after the l.M.C. (Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation) start the Frontier War as is told in "Titanfall" when they decare eminent domain to take all that the Frontier colonies had created. This would contented into "Titanfall 2". That war end after around 44 years. The Outlands when the game Apex takes place, came out of the war unharmed. But would have their own power struggle that would last around 7 years and the out come would place a group called the Mercenary Syndicate in power. The Syndicate would start a televised bloodsport called the Apex Games, that we all now and love.

You guys should totally watch some of the event trailers for apex. Some of them are really entertaining and detailed. Especially some Halloween and Christmas ones. They are like themed gameplay trailers

Vantage (Xiomara Contreras) is an 18-year-old girl who decided to join in the Apex Games to get out her mother, Xenia Contreras, a prisoner sentenced for life on the GDS Vantage (the ship that in the SFTO had been visited by Vantage and that risked killing her). The mother was captured to save her daughter and therefore is forced to serve her sentence despite having managed to escape. Now Vantage fights for her freedom and for the love that unites her!
Loving the new intro!! Vantage is a very cool legend and I’m very happy you guys saw!! I hope they dedicate more story from the outlands episodes to her. There is a lot they could go in depth with her on.

If you want to know more about the Lore then you could watch some videos from Kevtheking (he is the only one i know that talks about that). He talks about backstories and theories about the lore that are most of the time accurate

Look at Heist Trailers because Payday is a lot like Apex in that department. They just add missions instead of character
Or look at character introductions from Rainbow Six Siege. They are a minute long each and theres a lot of them. Fun and quick to watch.

New characters almost always are best right? That way it makes people want to invest. At least that’s how it was when I played Marvel Strike Force and new characters came out 🤗🤑
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames yeah in a lot of games it's like that, but usually respawn is pretty good at releasing characters that are pretty balanced or sometimes even underpowered.

i would reccomend looking into the apex story and titanfall story as there intertwined a bit and will make that games make sense.

I love vantage kinda my only issue is how OP she acts in the launch trailer with her scoping so and sniping really fast despite being so young idk it just feels far fetched since when hunting there aren't many times you would have to do all that but she is fun

Apex's worlds are ruled by an interconnected corporate oligarchy, whom the heads of have basically become royalty in all but name. There are "governments" but they defer to those whom supply them with power and logistics both in the figurative and literal sense.

Nice ear. We are playing around with the audio. It’s a directional mic we are using now to reduce echo and boost some sound. Trying to find right placement for it and didn’t quite have it for this vid 🤗
