My friend was gonna play catalyst but our rule of no LGBT members on the team makes it so that we lost out on a possible good teammate, its a shame that people have to make games focus on factors that dont affect gameplay, this is why TF2 is so good and why it will outlive these new games

So there is something that is interesting in regards to the story. People blame the birth of Seer for the destruction of the moon and yet it was beyond his control. He wishes to explain the situation yet Catalyst is beside herself. He is calm and gentle in his speech but for her she is dismissive and believes he is at fault, almost as if she didn't care. She believes him to be the curse but I think throughout this season things will be clear about what has really been happening behind the scenes. The season is going to look interesting for the story and I hope things will be clear as the story progresses forward.
From my understanding of it too, the curse isn’t really the beef that catalyst has with seer, it’s the fact that seer is working with Silva pharmaceuticals and was basically the one that suggested that they move the apex games there. The thing is, seer was tricked. Seer wanted to move the apex games to his home planet of Cleo in order to attract more tourism and help stimulate the economy. What happened instead was that the games got moved to the moon and turned the settlement that catalyst and the people of Cleo were creating into a war zone.
Basically, the reason catalyst hates seer right now isn’t because of the curse, but the fact that he’s basically the reason the games got moved to her doorstep

Yesterday I played this game for the first time after not playing the last 2 seasons and I found myself having fun with it again.
I unlocked Catalyst and tried her out for the first time and I really enjoyed her abilities.
This season is gonna be perfect!

I’m not a fan of the whole “demonic witchcraft vibe/theme,” but I am excited for the battle pass and the new map. The liquid she controls is ferrofluid, basically liquid iron. It’s the same stuff she encountered in the SftO.
Also, fun fact: the trans character, Catalyst is actually voiced by a trans actress.

@@b5303 the moon and upside-down stars symbols and the stone readings are satanic rituals/symbols. Plus she literally has voice lines about witches and witchcraft. It is what it is, though. To each their own. I just don’t care for that stuff.

6:28 I think catalyst mainly blames seer for the destruction of the moon since people consider him as “cursed” because he was born at that exact moment of the destruction. 7:53 catalyst also says “26 years ago…” and seer is 26 years old
Nah, she knows that's all bullshit. No one's birth destroys a moon. She's mad at him because it was his mistake that had her team's research and all attempts to save cleo and the planet of boreas come to a stop. He never meant for the apex games to push people off cleo and use it as a battlefield. But he authorized it. He wasn't careful enough.

I loved what Beth said at the end about diversity. So many people in the apex community are angry with the new legend being trans and some LGBTQ+ relationships happening in the lore. I couldn't have worded it better then she did about how it's a part of their character and not just diversity for diversity. So many people just spread too much hate in the world, love you guys

not really lmao. Apex has always had LGBT+ characters right from the release of the game. A lot of the legends are LGBT+ with Bloodhound being non-binary and Gibraltar and valk being gay etc.
