prayers for you....Lord Jesus Christ have mercy on this Lady and have mercy on me oh Lord..i also came out of the UPC and my wife.. we are now Orthodox Christians.. i have seen a lot of abuse too..so i pray always for all who hate me or who do despiteful things to me...and i pray for those who have preyed on me..
I know you probably mean well, but I want to gently point out that sometimes it's wisest to pray for someone without telling them. Not everyone is ready to hear that, especially after suffering such horrific and heartless abuse at the hands of "the church".
Is this "Steve" still a minister? Sorry this happened to you. I was in a UPCI church in Ohio when a pastor's son had impregnated two women in the assembly and these two women got abortions. The man was married and his wife couldn't have children. Sad all the way around.

Yes he is a minister but has gone independent. He did pastor a daughter work for the UPC after molesting me and another girl.
