These commercials aired a week after Halloween 1999. It was 18 days before Thanksgiving. It was 55 days before the 1st day of the year 2000. I watched ABC's original family movie called "Annie", but it was the more recent version than the 1982 version. They were 17 years apart. The 1999 version was part of "The Wonderful World of Disney". Andie MacDowell appeared on the L'Oreal commercial. Lots of fries and a round plastic ketchup pump jar appeared on the McDonald's commercial. Cory and Topanga got married on "Boy Meets World", which was on its farewell season. That show marked its finale on May 5, 2000. It was part of TGIF. I have the Olsen twin movie called "Passport to Paris". I remember "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?", starring Regis Philbin who passed away a few years ago.
The best remake by far is “Annie Live” with Celina Smith and Harry Connick Jr. I watched it back in December and I like it way better than this and the other two.
@@bradyanderson6311 Also, these movies were on TWWOD: Harriet the Spy Fly Away Home Alaska The Adventures of Pinocchio The Amazing Panda Adventure Dennis the Menace Switching Goals Wild America The Mask Small Soldiers Buddy Paulie The Challenge The Sound of Music The Road to El Dorado Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Catch Me If You Can Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas (The one with Jim Carrey) Problem Child
Darren Rosario that wasn't good enough! the disney-owned kid block for ABC should've had Timon & Pumbaa, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, you name it. That'll be best to make it more disney-riffic.
I know this is super irrelevant to the video, but I was a preemie. I was born four months early. I was supposed to be born in July, but born in April. With that being said, November 7 of 99, which is this videos date Was the first day that I went home from the hospital. So I stayed in the hospital for seven months.
Late 90s commercials are so soft and warm
My favorite WABC-TV EYEWITNESS NEWS promo at 5:57.
I remember watching Who Wants To Be A Millionaire with my dad. I haven't watched it in years. Thank you for uploading these commercials.
I miss the old ABC, back when it was worth watching and Disney styled.
The old ABC logo that was used from 1988-2007 was brought back again for the 2nd time from
Monday August 9th 2021-present.
My parents got my little sister a Furby. My sister said it was evil, and heard ' I hate you' from it lmao.
When I saw the opening with castle as a little kid I thought the characters literally lived there!😂😂

21:56 R.I.P. Alex Trebek.
29:58, Alicia Morton is on the set of Who Wants to be a Millionaire, which premiered after Annie.
I definitely remember KB Toys 😊 1999 was a time to be alive
20 years
I remember this
I remember this! The 1999 Annie is my favorite version of Annie!
I used to love the original from 1982, but I loved the 2014 remake and it’s still the best remake by far.
The best remake by far is “Annie Live” with Celina Smith and Harry Connick Jr. I watched it back in December and I like it way better than this and the other two.
1999 Annie is my favourite version of Annie as well
I miss Christmas!😭☃️🎅🏻🎄🎁🚂🎶📺❤️
It hasn't gone away.
Aw the good old days when a double cheeseburger at McDonalds was $1. 22:27
Thank you for posting this!
9:30, 23:33 I really hope that Space Jam re-airs on ABC. That would be so AWESOME!!
I don’t think so. ABC ran “Space Jam” only once.
@@Musicradio77Network Oh come on. It wouldn't hurt for ABC to re-air the movie twice or a few times.
@@kahrahnoel814 I don’t think so. I checked the schedule that “Space Jam” is going to be on BET starting 11/12 at 4PM, and not on HBO Max yet.
@@kahrahnoel814 that's the WB's gig and ABC has been local junk for the Looney Tunes.
@William Harding And so did “Space Jam: A New Legacy” with LeBron James.
Awesome! 😮😀😀
This happened a day after the Digimon episode Princess Karaoke aired.
You know the irony of Space Jam airing on The Wonderful World of Disney?
How weird, it's in the wrong local channel and Looney Tunes should've been gone from ABC after Disney first owned it.
@@bradyanderson6311 Well The Bugs and Tweety Show was in its final season on ABC!
@@hamursh ABC must save it for The WB.

Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas (The one with Jim Carrey)

@@tammyjej Stupid ABC, films not from Disney.
ahh michael eisner...his voice is childhood
I wish I could find the actual broadcast. I remember watching that version of Annie on ABC with my grandmother back in the day.
16:41 I love this movie!
Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas?
@James Fields Yes
I have this VHS, and it was running on Disney Junior every year to this day, and on Disney+.
@@jamesfields4722 A Mickey Mouse Works Movie
That Partridge Family/Brady Bunch Crossover TV Movie should’ve been on Nick at Nite!
ABC aired them first, so it's just a future special.
Happy 20-year anniversary !
(Today.. November 7, 2019)
I hated when ABC stopped showing action movies and started their kids Disney movies on Saturday nights
I miss seeing movie's regularly on abc
What? Wait a Minute! Why was Space Jam on ABC’s The Wonderful World of Disney?
That's the problem, it's supposed to be aired on The WB and it's not a Disney film, right?
ABC still held The Bugs and Tweety Show until 2000 even after Disney bought ABC and Time Warner bought Turner
Darren Rosario that wasn't good enough! the disney-owned kid block for ABC should've had Timon & Pumbaa, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, you name it. That'll be best to make it more disney-riffic.
It’s too bad ABC is not showing The Wonderful World of Disney anymore and that sucks because it should be brought back.
@@bradyanderson6311 Yes that's right, but regardless of the TV channel, I would still watch it.
i was in 4th grade... now i'm 30
24:22 my that's a lot of fries.
It is a bit jarring to see Space Jam on the Wonderful World of Disney block
21:47 What footage is that from? I’ve seen Cartoon Network use it for promos for Dexter’s Laboratory: Ego Trip

Isn’t Space Jam supposed to be on The WB?
Yes, but it can air on any TV channel, minus Disney Channel/XD.

The wonderful world of Disney will move to fox when animation domination will end.
