- It has finally happened, years of tape-searching has lead to this. This right here, is the holy grail of all my tape findings. Deep in the bowels of a friend's basement, I have uncovered a fully-recorded block of SNICK, with all commercials intact. Because this tape was too good not to put on this channel, I am officially breaking the tradition of no Nickelodeon commercials on this channel (hope you're happy now, internet).

Good video quality for 25 years old
My brain actually remembered the Sylvester and Tweety commercial. I could cry. Being a kid was so tough. I wish I had made myself enjoy it more because being an adult sucks.
Jay Simon I agree. It was such a magical time!! Hugs
Jay Simon Maaan so true, i miss them days
facts... i grew up on this stuff
Big Hug to you..
Still haven't done my homework to this day🤫
Lol, before social media, twitter and even email, we had to send letters through the mail to a PO box in New york.
I was in Heaven as a kid in elementary school. I had TGIF on Friday night, then got up early for Saturday Morning cartoons, and then had SNICK Saturday night. I feel so sorry for kids who did not get to enjoy such magic. The world is different now unfortunately
I didn’t even think of this but, same. My fam would watch tgif and I loved fox sat morning xmen and power rangers, and then snick sat night back when it had are you afraid of the dark as the final show 💯💯❤️
Spending my Saturday night going back in time reliving these. 🕒
I was 9 yrs old when these aired and remember most of these commercials. 📼
Miss these days.
Mark Trow I also was 9 in 1994 This is a trip. . .
Yup 9 and remember vividly most of these commercials. I grew up in Cali so obviously some I don't remember.
I got lucky, my wife is only 6 years younger (though she wasn't born here) she enjoys watching commercials with me or 90s TV.
the 90's WERE A TIME TO LIVE!!! Nothing like it. I thank God to experience it (as a kid)
I fuckin miss my 90's childhood..
who knew that at 37 i'd be sippin on JD amd watching commercials i saw when i was 9
I miss Roundhouse.
Watching this videos brings back a time of innocence, awesome Saturday nights and pure nostalgia.
Man, funny how these dredge up associated memories. At the time, I was about to have a birthday and move across the country with my family.
I was 7yrs old enjoying my summer. Oh man how I miss the 90s as a kid 🤗🤩
damn I was already 12, but I am right there with you
July 2nd of that year was the day after Dominic Lucero of Roundhouse lost his fight against lymphatic cancer. Sadly, he's been deceased longer than he has lived. 😰😿💔
'94 gave us All That, season 2 of Legends of the Hidden Temple, the final seasons of Clarissa Explains It All and Doug, season 3 of AYAOTD?, season 3 of Guts, season 4 of Roundhouse, season 2 of Weinerville, The Secret World of Alex Mack, season 2 of The Adventures of Pete & Pete, U to U, the debut of Face on Nick Jr, as well as the long forgotten My Brother and Me. That year was the pinnacle of classic Nickelodeon, SNICK included, The Big Help included. You still had many of the early '90s shows in reruns as well that I still enjoyed in hopes that they would be making new episodes eventually, including Fifteen, Nick Arcade, Hey Dude, Salute Your Shorts, Welcome Freshmen, Wild & Crazy Kids, WildSide Show, and Family Double Dare, reruns of The Alvin Show, Bullwinkle's Moose-A-Rama, Danger Mouse, Beyond Belief!!, the B&W Dennis the Menace sitcom, Lassie, Flipper, Muppet Babies, The Muppet Show, Beetlejuice, and the cartoon packaging Cartoon Kablooey,. It would start to gradually decline for the remainder of the '90s, but it wasn't really a "Nicktoon" channel until that yellow sponge with big eyes came onto out sets. It was just "less good", and I still enjoyed Nick even though I didn't like the direction it was heading, and I felt that they promoted Harriet The Spy too much in expense of new seasons of some of their shows. Also, remember also that week in November 1994 where every night on Nick at Nite they'd have a Taxi marathon? Other than that, Nick at Nite was still the classic TV block, and would be until the '00s began.
For me, Clarissa for the first couple years, followed by All That. That show for me "jumped" when Lori Beth and Josh left.
Man this takes me back to my childhood, I was 9 during this time. The 90s was clearly the best time to be a kid especially with the tv shows and cartoons.
TV, Movie, Music, clothes, FOODS/ Candies. THE TOYS! UGH.... Sometimes I fell like I give modern times a bad name, but then I turn on the TV and there is NOTHING ON, Music sucks no real singers, much like the 80s just a bunch of people making music. Hollywood is messing up with the whole "girl power crap" or making EVERY character gay or something.
Complete with the constant, electronic drone sound in the background.
That makes it authentic
Wow the commercial 10 mins in, that’s my hometown mall 4 years before I was born
I was 5 but still remember so many of these, I’d give my pinky toe to go back for just a little bit
Not a cell phone commercial in sight! So beautiful!
Better throw yours into the trash then. You obviously don't want it.
I was -1 during this originally but it gives me such comfort. I always wished I'd have been born just a few years sooner
"Life is a challenge, not a game!" Memories.
This is honestly amazing and so delightful, thank you so much for sharing your find with us
This was exactly 2 weeks after I turned 4 🤗 Loooooved Snick! I lived for Saturday nights!! Are You Afraid of the Dark was always my favorite ♡
3 months after I turned 4 for me. Are you Afraid of the Dark was my absolute favourite too. Always loved the Big Orange Couch segments.
Watching are you afraid of the dark at 4 years old? That's pretty hardcore.
@@AX5Terminator LOL! My mom used to say the same thing 😂 probably why nothing scares me now that I'm an adult. Takes a lot for a movie to actually be scary to me
You remember watching that at 4 y/o? I believe you. I remember watching the first season of the Simpsons, and also I remember watching the reading rainbow in the 80s when I was VERY young. About 1-3 years old, then we moved 4-7 y/o... 1990 was very special cause my mom got a great apt with enough room for the 4 of us. I feel like that appt also help my childhood.
@@thelthrythquezada8397 well I watched SNICK from ages 3 to like 9 or 10 so that's probably why I remember it. Also, my brother and I always had to spend Saturday nights at our dad's house, which was not a great place (to say the least).. so I think we completely zoned out watching SNICK while we were there to forget that we were there, lol
I was 6 ...why do I remember this so much ..god I feel old now 🤣
6:38 (Gasps) Aah! It's Evil Pete and Pete!
30 years ago today. I want to go back!
I remember a lot of these. This SNICK saturday nite TV was really fun to watch as a kid
Angels in the Outfield might be the most 1994 movie of all time
Ahhhh those were the days!
❤❤❤❤❤I Remember every single one of these 😢😊 I’m bout cryyyyu
You are doing God's work
This video is 28 years old.
anyone remembers are you afraid of the dark? I loved that show... what happened to snick and nick?? They killed the best shows and TRL ....
364 days before I was born
It’s crazy that Pete and Pete was on that long, they look like babies.
20:07 This commercial shows the guy only playing Sega Genesis, and yet shows nothing but Mega Man X (and a very tiny snippet of Sonic the Hedgehog), which was only on Super Nintendo. I'm not sure why they did that.
This was 5 weeks before my 5th birthday.
8:45 AHHHHH! Not Again!
I was 11 going on 12, this was the ultimate
Oh the memories I love it
Pete and Pete remember the cream corn episode where he ate too much lol
That was the funniest shit i ‘ve ever seen
The 90s on Nick was the shit especially Saturday night
Dope Nike commercial
I like how Ren and Stimpy is now on AdultSwim lol.. in retrospect that show is totally not for kids lmao
Global G.U.T.S was like the most elite, powerful, cool thing on Nick to me back then. I wanted to be on there climbing the purple mountain and being on one of the teams. I also thought it was cool the ref was British.
Okay, don't get scared because you don't know me, but....................................IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY WORD, I can ACTUALLY almost remember half of this and at that time I was six and Nickelodeon and especially SNICK was MY LIFE!!! Wow...The Big Orange Couch (I remember the night I called for hours trying to win it!), The Big Help, Roundhouse, Clarissa, Pete & Pete, GUTS...the Blockbuster commercial...THE NICK IS EVERYDAY bumper, I LOVED that one back then because those visuals going through the seasons and holidays looked so great:):):):) Plus that Nick at NITE bumper...I still treasure the tape on which I recorded the Nick at Nite Brady Bunch 30th Anniversary Marathon from 1999 with the commercials...you know what still KILLS me every time I watch that? The promos of the black and white shows dubbed with weird modern lines and then it says how times change but great TV doesn't. Nick at Nite done LIED to me since they changed with the times HORRIBLY;) ANYWAY...imagine if we got a Nickelodeon streaming service that was literally the channel exactly how it aired from 1979 to 1999, complete with the original commercials, and all you had to do was choose what date and time programming you want? What a TIME capsule experience that would be! Now THAT is how they would make their bucks, actually give the public EXACTLY what we want!!!! I hope you find more tapes!!! Good luck on your treasure hunt!
Did anyone else used to change the channel when the big help news came on? Lol
August 8 2011
3:15 Watermelon All The Way!

0:01 2:50 Clarissa Explains It All 2 Bumpers
The Black kid in the Apple Jacks commercial at the 11-minute point was in "American History X."
Artie the strongest man in the world is my hero forever.
Haha
I need a Super Soaker xp 75 holy
Wasn't There a RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW Segment, Where a Kid is Buried in the Sand?
This is in incredible quality! Whenever I rip my VHS tapes, I always get ghosting issues. How do you get yours to be so clean? By the way, thanks for not adding any annoying logos!
This was ripped from a Super VCR.
@@ethanstvjunkyard9551 I that an actual thing or you being funny? Cause I just pictured a VCR from like the Film dept, or a news station or something.
No, I did rip this from an S-VHS player.
What was the Roundhouse episode
