What kid didn't dream of competing in Legends of the Hidden Temple, win a Nick Sweepstakes, or get that sweet ass Toys R Us cart run? I really do miss that time so much. I'm happy now, but those Nick bumpers give me a feeling I can't believe was ever real. Growing up felt so good and I think was a lot less akward for our generation. We knew about respect, freedom, never giving up, being a good friend, and what Saturday night at 8:00 meant. The big orange couch. It's not the kids fault today. It moves too fast for them. We had time to be bored. Last great decade.
This was one of my favorite years from the 90's; Rammstein put out their first album, Chrono Trigger and Donkey Kong Country 2 were available to play, Nickelodeon pretty much unstoppable at putting out great shows, and the first Mortal Kombat film was out (hey, I love that movie haha). Man, I miss being 10 years old, and spending Saturdays at my Grandparent's house. :(
Watching all of these again after so long is like a fever dream. With so much going on in every commercial Nickelodeon really knew how to appeal to my ADD.
Makes me feel exactly the same. Brings me right back to my old house when the sun was going down. Life wasn't perfect then either but, Nickelodeon especially, was such an escape. That dude's voice introducing what was coming up next really hit me in the gut. Really miss being a kid.
No you’re not crazy. These types of videos remind me of spending time at my maternal grandparents house and it relaxes me. I also read to them. Great background noise.
canada_rye Such a good time I miss it too...there was so much good about it, it's hard to explain. I even have dreams I go back to my old house I grew up in, in the 90's.
Ah god. What a time it was to be alive then. You have no idea how many great memories your videos have brought back! Also, I cannot believe we were so entertained by a damn popsicle stick with googly eyes and play-doh. "Yay it's Stick Stickley!!"
Boy, this was a hardcore flashback to the days of staying in until my friends could play while watching Nickelodeon. That Looney Tunes promo (without the cat) was a really big flashback. I also thought Stick Stickly was voiced by Rick Moranis when I was a kid.
7:56 Dreams-Cranberries. I never met Dolores Riodran. My dad introduced me to her in 2017 when the bad wolves cover of zombie was released, he told me the band is by her brothers and she was a part of it until she died
I would flip! I don’t pay for any streaming and I don’t have cable because everything is trash now. But I would give them allllll my money for that. Nick at Nite too! When they did summer block party!
August of 95 I was 9... I remember every single commercial. The time slots, the shows, the movies, stick stickly. Now I’m 33 married with kids and they will never know what being a kid is all about. Not that we do this a lot but, there is not much fun stuff on tv anymore. Nickelodeon sucks commercial sucks and most of us don’t watch much tv anymore. We have tablets and Netflix and cord cutting.
Nickelodeon was the embodiment of the late 80s & early 90s, artistically & phonetically. Why couldn't they stay like that forever? It's still debated over whether The Pebble & the Penguin, Rockadoodle, or A Troll in Central Park was Don Bluth's worst film.
OMG! I Totally Love the Extra Long Summer Schedule Promo on Nickelodeon! And I Totally Love the Audio Promo for Alvin and the Chipmunks on Nickelodeon!
BF Stunt Show-based off the one movie franchise that Joel Schumacher took into a downward spiral Baby Sitters Club- these days Larisa Oleynik had done a good job with her role on the revived Hawaii Five-O Muppet Babies-loved those bits at the very end,i think theres a whole collection of them on TH-cam
14:22- I noticed that they're no longer using a Polaroid picture, just a white bordered photo (very unusual for this era.) and they didn't write "applejacks '95 " on it either. I think this was towards the end of that campaign
I've Been Waiting for that Legends Promo For Years. BTW, The "Sarah" Contestant was Yakerra from The Ivory Hunting Horn of Roland & The "Edward" Contestant was Pat from The Marble Armrest of Xerxis.
I recall looney tunes always being on Cartoon Network... I didn’t know they were on nick Also 7:04 I NEVER put it together as a kid that this was Spider-Man... or “Marvel Productions” this little title card actually always kind of creeped me out
Nickelodeon started airing Looney Tunes cartoons in 1988 before Cartoon Network even existed. They remained on the channel until 1999, over a decade. They only had rights to select cartoons though: looneytunes.fandom.com/wiki/Nickelodeon
iBoredomONE The Swan Princess will always be one of my favorite movies. The first 3 were a great part of my childhood. Loved them so much got them on dvd.
I'm surprised how long some of these commercials aired.. I wasn't born until 3 years after this and I saw quite a few of these. And theres no way I remember them from before at least 99 or 00.
These were such care free and healthy times.I would give anything to go back to them.
Gosh, I miss the colors and energy of 90s TV.
Im so happy i was a kid in the 90s. Best time ever.
We need a 90's revival. What a great decade.
Agreed!
This makes me so happy and so sad at the same time
Born in 83. This time in the mid 90s was right before we were all consumed by AOL chatrooms and the internet. Good times.
"Jim Henson's Muppet Babies will be right back!"
Damn... hitting me hard right off the bat, huh? God, I miss life back then. 😢💙
The 90's were awesome. Being 4 to 14 years old in that decade...those were the days.
RIP Nickelodeon Studios 1990 - 2005. I never got to go there, but i always want to so bad.
Same here. Wish I can go back and tell my Mom to take me there.
Back when Nickelodeon was in its prime.
I was one of the kids that got lucky enough to be covered in nick slime at universal studios. I miss those moments 🦠
What kid didn't dream of competing in Legends of the Hidden Temple, win a Nick Sweepstakes, or get that sweet ass Toys R Us cart run?

I was obsessed with Babysitters Club books as a kid lol I watched that movie so much the tape broke. Miss the 90's.
Ah the 90s ..the last time you ever saw kids playing outside
The 90s was the best I'm glad I was born 1983
82 for me. Great time to grow up. Time sure does fly by😔
Watching all of these again after so long is like a fever dream. With so much going on in every commercial Nickelodeon really knew how to appeal to my ADD.
I burst into tears when the babysitters club trailer came on. Damn. We all need help. 😫
Is it bad that this stuff helps me sleep? Just makes me feel like I’m back at home in my old room and I don’t have all my adult stresses and worries.
Nope it isn't bad. And you aren't the only one lol. Been binging this channel a lot among others lately. Love remember these days in the 90s
Makes me feel exactly the same. Brings me right back to my old house when the sun was going down. Life wasn't perfect then either but, Nickelodeon especially, was such an escape. That dude's voice introducing what was coming up next really hit me in the gut. Really miss being a kid.

I'm still disappointed I never won a trip to nickelodeon studios
I watched Nick all summer long. I was 11. I remember these well. What a great way to reminisce and visit those fond memories. I love these videos
The nostalgia is real.
Jesus, this one hit hard for some reason. All these are ingrained into my 35 year old brain still.....
Stick Stickly hit me right in the feels
Remember "Dip Stick" where they dipped him in stuff and he tried to guess what it was?
I miss the 90's
Literally scrolled down to the comments to post exactly this
canada_rye Such a good time I miss it too...there was so much good about it, it's hard to explain. I even have dreams I go back to my old house I grew up in, in the 90's.
They say the only bad thing about the 90s was that it didn't last long enough.
BOy!! that Kay-Bee toy commercial! I feel old, but damn quality childhood...
And Nick in the Afternoon was the shit!
The memories are flooding back.
Damn, this is one compilation that I remember 80% of the commercials haha
I wanna go back so bad lol
..
Ah god. What a time it was to be alive then. You have no idea how many great memories your videos have brought back! Also, I cannot believe we were so entertained by a damn popsicle stick with googly eyes and play-doh. "Yay it's Stick Stickley!!"
I still sometimes watch legends of the hidden temple, especially to see all the old prizes. Nickelodeon game shows in the 90's were the best.
Wheres it on?
@@Doors067 third party sites like vimeo or daily motion.
90s was quality TV. I remember wanting one of those ribbon dancers. Never got one
I remember all this being aired like it was yesterday
Boy, this was a hardcore flashback to the days of staying in until my friends could play while watching Nickelodeon.
That Looney Tunes promo (without the cat) was a really big flashback.
I also thought Stick Stickly was voiced by Rick Moranis when I was a kid.
I used to read the babysitters club books. I loved them😊
I miss the 90s and the 90s.
Adam Richelieu I will never forget the 90s I feel sorry for people who did not grew up in the 90s
The 2000s was literally like the 90s, till 2010 ruined everything
19 in 1995 though at that age i didn't watch Nick these commercials take me back to a much simpler time..
Grew up in the 90's, Awesome love it.

I wanted to be on Legends of the Hidden Temple soooo bad!
Bella Katherman holy 🐄, yeah! I wanted to be on Legends OTHT most, but i also really wanted be on Guts or Double Dare with my sister. Great memories
Definitely reliving my childhood through these commercials. August 1995, I was only in first grade. lol

1993 - 1997, best era of 90s.
I TOTALLY AGREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In the Aug' of '95, I was 11. God I wanna go back! 😢
“The Tick” at Taco Bell. Wow, I remember collecting them all. I was such a nerd. Good times!
I miss it so much it hurts. All my friends are gone :(
I think the bomb explosion clip in the Magic in the Water tv spot was a metaphor, considering that film was a massive bomb.
I think the word you meant to use was, "foreshadowing."
I remember all of these & I was only 6😞😞 I miss this era
"Will you go to the movies with me"
"Allen get real."
"...I Am." SAVAGE
I had one of those Ribbon Dancers. They were so much harder to play with than they looked! Mine was constantly getting tangled & tied in knots.
Take me back! Please!😭
Nickelodeon was the 90's.
Damn....right it in the feels.
One thing is for sure and not negotiable: fast food toys in the 90's >>>>>>>> fast food toys today.
7:56 Dreams-Cranberries. I never met Dolores Riodran. My dad introduced me to her in 2017 when the bad wolves cover of zombie was released, he told me the band is by her brothers and she was a part of it until she died
I remember the Tick toys that Taco Bell use to have, the Arthur one was my favorite.
Gotta love the creativity!!!!
Oh my gosh... Big Helpers in Action...I remember that....
Nick should have a channel of all 90s even the commercials. new idea...
It should be named "Nick in the 90's"
I would flip! I don’t pay for any streaming and I don’t have cable because everything is trash now. But I would give them allllll my money for that. Nick at Nite too! When they did summer block party!
soo many memories from when I was a kid keep up the great work
Does Taco Bell still have kids meals? I don't think so
I remember that Tick toy of Arthur flipping down the glass!!! I thought it was so cool!!! Didn't know it was Taco Bell though 🌮 🔔
Amazing upload with amazing quality video. This is highly valued stuff. Thanks!
I have always wanted to be slimed at Nickelodeon studios in Florida but never happened😢
Me too

Should have said, "I don't know"...
I miss watching an hour of Looney Tunes after dinner and homework.

Wow I was 16 at this time! Takes me back...
my sister and I used to watch legends of the hidden temple and bet on who would win. I would always lose for some reason lmao

It's still debated over whether The Pebble & the Penguin, Rockadoodle, or A Troll in Central Park was Don Bluth's worst film.
Lieutenant BaconWaffles it went corperate and all the creativity that was there went out the window.
OMG! I Totally Love the Extra Long Summer Schedule Promo on Nickelodeon! And I Totally Love the Audio Promo for Alvin and the Chipmunks on Nickelodeon!
man i miss the 90's times were better back then
Such awesome memories!

My god , Aug 1995 .. I was a freshman in college. A time of high optimism and opportunity , when america was America .
When America was... Online.
I actually feel bad for any schmuck that bought a ribbon dancer
14:22- I noticed that they're no longer using a Polaroid picture, just a white bordered photo (very unusual for this era.) and they didn't write "applejacks '95 " on it either. I think this was towards the end of that campaign
Ritalin faded. Great upload! Thanks for the memories!
Omg i forgot about the amazing panda adventure.
I've Been Waiting for that Legends Promo For Years.
BTW, The "Sarah" Contestant was Yakerra from The Ivory Hunting Horn of Roland & The "Edward" Contestant was Pat from The Marble Armrest of Xerxis.
I know I missed Kay Bee toys a lot too :(
8:45 I'm glad I never told my father that I thought those were the coolest things ever.
0:05... Wow, were they really spoofing "The Gastlycrumb Tinies"?
Barney!!! My pebbles LOL
'Soccer Pal' lmao :D That looks like a Cinco product commercial from Tim And Eric.
August '95.....the month of my 13th year. 🤗
Animal: GO BYE BYE!
What a shame kids will never know what good shows or even some commercials are. We at least had an imagination and went out and played to.
August 1995. I would have been 6 around that time and I also would have been entering kindergarten around that particular month.
Ryan W. Featherston I was a teen in 1995
I was 12
I was ten and about to start the fifth grade.
I recall looney tunes always being on Cartoon Network... I didn’t know they were on nick

At 5:18 I have this short carrotblanca on dvd as part of the looney tunes parodies collection
Stick Stickley :D
PlayStation 1!!!😢
8:30 The prepackaged rice crispy treats do not taste homemade at all. They are awful compared to the real thing.
I guess what I was saying was if you have only tried the artificial ones you are missing out!!
I loved the swan princess! I had it on vhs
iBoredomONE The Swan Princess will always be one of my favorite movies. The first 3 were a great part of my childhood. Loved them so much got them on dvd.
I wish I could have gone on guts and won a piece of the agro crag
