I still remember the day when I worked in a fab shop as a Millwright, the guy that had been there longer than anybody and had forgotten more than most guys in the shop knew came walking up to me looking rather confused and asked me if I had something that would work on a bolt he had in his hand. He handed me a 12 point fastener, and I handed him a 12 point socket that fit it. He, and just about everybody else in that shop had no idea that 12 point sockets were made specifically for something. I took a victory lap around the shop that day. ;-)

Maybe I was expecting more than just use a 6 point, like heating the bolt, applying WD40 a couple hours before the fight starts, not using an impact so you don't break rusty things, etc...

TexasRedneck 50/50 mix of ATF and acetone. Just tried that myself a few days ago and it works beautifully, supposedly better than anything off the shelf...

Yeah since you posted a video about releasing rusty hardware. I like to know how to get a rusty bolt off is you do use a 6 point and still strip it. Also one time I was removing a bolt and the bolt head just broke free. Then what do you do?

12 points are pretty much useless, the ratchet clicks are closer together, the only thing they help with is square 4 point heads,

Metric, SAE, 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, shallow, deep, chrome, impact, 6 point, 12 point... Anyone else know what I'm talking about?

haha yep and you're always able to make an excuse of why you need more sockets alone

That's why I have like 37 different socket sets.... literally.

I hear "rusty hardware" and I think Cars or Ricky Bobby. Mascot or a crew chief or Tow Mater's sidekick.

The only reason I subscribed was them posting episodes now I guess I don't have a reason.

Brian TX you want episodes all you need to do is wait, it happened last year too, there are single scraps of episodes released during the year, but at the end of the year is when the full episodes come out then rince and repeat, you want proof look at last seasons episodes and the date the first part of the episode was released and the date the second part of the same episode was posted

I'm used to the post season dump of videos which are usually out if sequence but I think that may be changing since the website has gotten more involved.

Powernation.TV or Powerblock.tv have shows that are basically the same thing, just way more of them, for various motor vehicles. Trucks, Cars, offroaders and all that good shit.

C'mon Stacey - anyone who didn't already know about 6-point sockets (and box wrenches) is still in kiddygarten.
