Good video, I agree Amazon shipping presentation on most things is horrible. I ordered the jacket through Huckberry and the presentation was much better .
I ordered directly from huckberry , i ordered a shirt and the flint and tinder jacket , both arrived in 2 seperate boxes , with huckberry tape wrapped around the boxes .Agreed on the other negatives, they really could have at least lined the pockets for a 300$ jacket
I already watched this video 11 times, bought this same jacket 3 days ago, how is it holding up? I got a size M too and hoping it’s not too loose, I’m 6 feet tall, 167lbs.
@@ninovarela8535 I still have the field tan version and love it. I have a bunch of jackets now, but I always find time to wear this one. It’s one of my all time favorite jackets and it still looks good and only gets better with age.
I think Huckberry listened to you about those belly pockets, cause mine are actually lined. This is the Flint and Tinder flannel-lined waxed trucker jacket too but just in field tan.
You’re the second person to tell me that. I checked with my contact and he assured me they are not. I may need to see if I can get a new one sent to me to check this out.
@@jeffgrantMEDIAGood luck! I think it’s fantastic that they’re listening to customers so well. The cuffs are still unlined as of right now but to be fair, I feel like that would be an aesthetic problem whereas since the pockets are concealed it wouldn’t. But hey, that’s one less negative.
Thank you. I’ve tried most of the FNT waxed jackets, and so far this is my favorite. I find the flannel lined to be the most versatile. But I did just get one more in the mail the other day that I haven’t really worn yet.
I was swimming in a large. I don’t remember if I included the clip in this video or not, but I can actually wrap the large around my body almost to my back. And the sleeves fell through bunched up in my inner elbow area.
The tan definitely shows more signs of where. The lighter color allows for a more stark looks between the darker more worn in areas and the less broken in/ less wrinkled up area. But my Havana unlined has taken on the most patina out of any of my FNT Jackets. But that is probably due to me wearing that in the warmer months on my scooter and sweating a bit when it was in the high 80's.
@@jeffgrantMEDIA Thanks! I ended up ordering the coal, as I already have the tan Rogue Territory supply jacket (unlined) and a dark green Barbour. Was deciding between the Forest and the Coal Flint n Tinder - would've liked the light grey but not in stock in my size.

Yes the jacket was Hickberrys most popular item prior to the show. Which is most likely the reason it was used in the show. It the show spiked the poly of the jacket. As a meme we of the carry community, I saw ISO’s like crazy for the jacket aftet the show aired. Now the FNT Hudson is being used in Fear the Walking Dead.
There is a wool lined version, but it also has polyester (35% according to the Huckberry site). This is what helps keep the cost down on these American made jackets. Both materials and manufacturing are done in the US. If the liners were also 100% cotton or wool, there would be a significant cost increase to an already pricey jacket. But i get it. I would also like to see a full cotton liner, but the blanket liner is soft and comfortable.
@@jeffgrantMEDIA Thursday has an almost identical jacket with cotton lining and a slightly longer fit. Tough choice for me between those 2 jackets. I suppose waxed cotton is not breathable anyways so cotton lining won't make a significant difference
@@James-id5xq The Thursday jacket is made in Portugal, where the FNT is American made, both materials and manufacturing. Yes Thursday had a full cotton liner, but being foreign made, you are only saving $18 over the US made garment. So the cost to add a 100% cotton liner would add $50-$100 to the jacket depending on where the materials are made. In addition, I believe Huckberry puts the FNT Flannel lined trucker on sale for black Friday. Where as far as I have seen, Thursday never does sales of any sort. So you may be able to get the FNT jacket in a few weeks for cheaper than the Thursday. I have not personally used a Thursday jacket, as they never replied to my emails. I’ve had many orders through Huckberry and they are always 100% on point with their shipping.

That is how all of my direct from Huckberry orders arrived. The pockets and sleeve cuffs were lined. Other than that... I love these jackets!

I am 42 chest. I put on about 5 pounds form filming this and the medium still fits me perfectly.
