In this fight batman cant even defend himself against a few unarmed thugs but in arkham knight he fought off thousands of thugs

It's because arkham knight is near the end of batmans "life". In the telltale series, he is much newer to his job

DDM isbae in the arkham series Batman doesn't even look human, but more like a robot. Also he is basically Superman in those games, they want me to believe that he fights a million of enemies solving a million of problems during the same night without ever getting tired or injured... You gotta be kidding me, in no comic Batman is so OP. Anyway they nerfed Batman pretty badly in villain's path if you take vigilante's path Batman is way more powerful and is still able to fight and defeat Joker after getting impaled and with an injured leg and broken ribs, just by taking few pain killers. In villain's path instead just because he had a concussion after being hit on the head from Harley's hammer as Bruce, he is so disoriented later on that he can't even fight few Joker's thugs... I don't buy it, it was clearly an excuse to let Joker kidnap Batman so that we could play as Bruce for the rest of the episode in villain's path. That's why I decided to pick vigilante's path as my canon playthrough, villain's path is so forced and disappointing compared to the vigilante's one.
I spent so much time being nice to Jim and doing anything he wanted. Then he's like "Catwoman needs to go to prison" (even though she helped us in the debate attack in season 1) And if you warn her which Gordon could never really prove was you, he acts like your some evil man who never agrees with him.

Gordon is a good man too. He made a mistake by betraying batman but all he wanted was Gotham's safety.
Vigilante's path is so much better, Batman looks way stronger and is able to fight even while heavily injured, while here instead a few thugs are enough to defeat him just because he suffered from a concussion after being hit in the head from Harley's hammer as Bruce. Also it doesn't make any sense that Gordon hasn't even a bit of faith in Batman and decides to betray him just so he can have the bombs location from Joker. He used to say that Batman was essential for the security of the city and suddenly he completely changes his mind in villain's path and blames Batman for Gotham's new criminals and even betrays him with no troubles. Villain's path is so forced and disappointing...
The Strong Jim ONLY betrays if Batman isn't nice to him at the crime scene in episode 5. So it depends how you act towards him. It's all about building relationships with characters, didn't you get it?

Yes, Vigilante is definitely more organic in terms of narrative flow in the game.
@@TopQuality15 Gordon betrays Batman either way in villain's path. The only difference is that he comes help you with the thugs if you are friend with him, but he still sells you out to Joker to have the bomb locations.
Yeah it's just telltales poor writing at work. They constantly contradict the character building they have done to create conflict. They can't hold a candle to games like heavy rain for instance.
This fight was... honestly sort of unbelievable given the shit Batman does in the other games, comics, and even earlier in the Telltale series. He should have won fairly easily. Like he doesn't even use any gadgets in this fight.
Well he was new to being batman still and he was distracted by Gordon being hurt.

That's really going to leave a mark in batman's reputation as being feared by criminals, i imagine those thugs after beating batman's ass like: "Hey! We just encountered that bat-freak everyone is talking about, he's not big deal, just me and a few guys were needed to put him on the ground, he's not that scary or strong after all."
Even though Joker's real name remains unknown, his "John Doe" persona is like a pseudo-real name and Batman calling him "John" makes you realizes as Joker doesn't call him "Bruce" and expose his identity just goes to show that Joker is IRONICALLY A BIGGER MAN than Batman.

I am glad that I was not the only one who was disappointed with Batman's vulnerability in the villain route. But I get the inclination of the writers to probe more into John/Bruce's relationship before the change.

Guys. Telltale just wanted to have Batman curled up in a ball, just to call back to the time when Bruce and John first met in Arkham (if you've even played the first game). It's supposed to kind of make you feel bad for treating him so badly and for turning him into a villain. It's as if to say, "See what you've done? Who will save you, now? Your friend is no longer here."
To have a friendship that's both come so far, and fall so far.
So. Enough about the "logistics" about having the strength or skill to take on these thugs.

I really feel like the writers should have had Joker set traps in Ace chemicals and thats how he catches batman just like how he would in the shows. @@MistahJay7 the batsuit is the full tactical armor im referring to. Like getting hit in the head with nothing on is a lot worse than getting hit in the head with a combat helmet on, which is essentially what the cowl is in this version

Dude in Arkham City Batman had to fight like 30 People . In this he can't fight probably 9 people
What pisses me off even more about this is that earlier on in the telltale series, they showed Batman handle himself well. Then all of a sudden he loses to random thugs? They should've at least been consistent or show Batman suffering from a previous injury that caused him to lose.

They actually dont defie phiscs. DC has diffrent rules for that. Besides even if he couldnt beat 25 inmate, He still should be able to kick 10 thugs ass. He got trained in diffrent fighting styles, He got lots of experience, he got a super armour. He should be able to beat them two eyes closed!

Thomas Harnett he used to one shot most of the thugs he fought in the other episodes and in season 1, it doesn't make any sense that he can't handle those few thugs here they simply needed a way to make us play as Bruce for the rest of the episode in villain's path so they nerfed Batman here.
He could beat 9 thugs with bats. Because there are tons of martial arts that show you how to defend yourself especially against armed people. A man that knows almost every single fighting style would be able to defeat them pretty easly.

This game was great but I wished it had enabled players to do un-Batman like things. It would have been great if they let players kill the Joker in a brutal manner.
