CGTN correspondent in central Gaza Noor Harazeen broke down in tears as she reported from outside the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital where "the numbers (of injured) are going up by the hour."
"I have been reporting escalations on Gaza for years now and have not witnessed anything like that," she said.
More than 2,200 Palestinians and over 1,300 Israelis have been killed since this round of attacks between Hamas and Israel began on October 7.

Warnings had been sent but the people sheltering there had nowhere to go, many of the patients were incapable of going anywhere, many women, children and babies. Medical staff were also killed there because they refused to leave their patients.
Nowhere is safe in Gaza. They are given warnings of air strikes and directed to a certain place, then air strikes are targeted at them there.

More than 1,300 civilians were directly targeted - shot, burnt alive, beaten/tortured/gangraped to death, chopped into pieces, taken captive to Gaza to die a slow and painful death. Being collateral damage in a bombing raid is a merciful death by comparison.

I dont understand how this is justice. Annihilation of babies, children, women, and the elderly who have no part in Hamas are the true victims of this war. My heart hurts for Israel as well, those who were injured, killed, or have lost those around them and are in fear for the lives of the hostages who are still missing with no news. China should be more outspoken against injustice to the Palestinians. It should use its position in UN and its influence with the Global South to stand up against the injustice to the Palestinians. Palestinians have no fight jet, no navy and tanks against the well-arm Israelis who is being helped by the US and UK sending aircraft carriers to the battle front. The world can see how unequal treatment to the Palestinians who were forced to take extreme measures to get the attention from the world. I remember when I was a teen in the 90s there is a study wherein a lot of economist project the persian crescent consisting of Iran Iraq etc. could be the next big thing since the potential there is huuuge. Lots of resources and lots of young and talented people. But then Iraq war and coups here and there kept them from developing.
