Good helicopters, with qualified instrument pilots, do just fine. The VFR guys who need the view, not so much.......They hit terrain. It is also what happened with Kobe Bryant. The pilot got confused, in the fog. All 9 people on board got killed, just like that group of guys.......nothing survives when the chopper hits terrain, at full speed.

The kind of "laser weapon" this video is describing is not the only possible kind of directed energy weapon. You dont have to burn a hole - you can simply disrupt a craft's electronic systems. Such a weapon needs less power, less size and less targeting.
The helicopter could have done just fine without any electronic systems.

Death comes from Bell the Helicopter, and the IRGC failed to maintain it.
Why would it have to be a 'space-laser'? Why not a laser on the ground? Or in the air? It would have much less trouble with 'diffusion' and would not need to be anywhere near as big as a space-laser. Or maybe it was something more mundane... like a bomb on board or something. The transponder being turned off is odd, to say the least.

In my opinion, Raisi's helicopter crashed because it lost signal and that was because of a hijacking of the plane's network which the pilot could not resist and made him lose direction and could not be controlled. That makes more sense, and the culprit is of course the manufacturer because they have data about the helicopter. and how to control it

Almost certainly spatial disorientation in fog. In a fixed wing aircraft it is usually handled by making the craft is in trim and taking hands and feet off the controls. Helicopters lack that inherent stability. That took the life of Kobe Bryant four years ago. No lasers needed.

Absolutely NOT! There is NO WAY a space based laser could have delivered that kind of energy through clouds, fog, and rain. Simply impossible that such energy would not have dissipated in those weather conditions. There is one guy who claims thay helicopters "fly above the clouds" WRONG! The max altitude of a Bell 212 is less than 13,000 feet, the level of altostratus clouds.

Helicopter and Plane is a bad idea to use during heavy fog, you can not see what your flying into, it is 90 percent fatal under 10,000 feet, there are lot of large mountains
@@deeza3384 flying on thick fog in 21 century is still like driving your car at night without lights only using Google maps. When it comes closer to the ground you have to visually navigate obstructions and terrain. Radar and other equipment will tell you the general topography of the area but not 100% detail enough to coordinate relying only on those information at low altitude. That is why lot of flights cancel when there is thick fog, and those planes are equipped with best navigation systems available in aeronautical department. Compared to the 40 year old helicopter the president was riding.
Much worse in a helicopter. Fixed wing aircraft are inherently stable (except advanced fighter jets and such) but helicopters are inherently unstable.

The helicopter most likely crashed due to loss of trim occurring during bad weather. I have experienced similar when travelling in a helicopter which suddenly lost trim under similar circumstances of bad weather in the mountains of PNG.

I think it could be a large drone waiting for the chopper to come into view. They waited until the return journey because it would be cold outside and less chance of anyone surviving.They could also have chosen the best place to shoot the aircraft down thus delaying a search party.

@@flagmichael Of the 3 helicopters only one carried the President and only that one came down. I think a DEW, which the U.S. have and Britain completed its tests with DEW's last year, is the perfect weapon for such an operation. It's not such an unlikely cause for the crash.

I'm convinced it was no accident. But, your reporting said that Turkiye said the transponder was either missing or turned off, but it doesn't say how they knew that. If they found the transponder amid the wreckage and saw it was turned off, they would say that. Or if they searched the wreckage and there was no transponder they would say so. But to say that it was either missing or turned off leads me to believe they need some explaining to do. If they saw one was the case, they wouldn't say the other was possible.
