That chicken is wet coated with seasoned cornstarch a very thin thin batter no and maybe a little flower but I don't think so with the way it looks and as crunchy as it is.✌✌🎅🚌🌻

I love that you were so in love with the scone with the honey butter. They are definitely a rare treat and not an eat every day type thing. You need to go further north in Utah to see the lush green and fall colors in the mountains. St. George is the hot, desert corner of the state. I love that you're in Utah though! Welcome!

The fried chicken and the baked chicken looked exactly the same. You're being so nice here, Joel. Most buffets are mediocre at best and we can see that's the case here. 🤷🏻♀️
Definitely the most underwhelmed I’ve seen him doing a buffet video. The only thing he seemed to really enjoy were the veggies and the scone

Broccoli salad. 🥦 Never heard of pasta in it. Now that you mentioned it... Guess what I will be making soon. The last time we had it was when me and my husband got married. ❤❤❤ Yummy... We love our veggies. I add bacon 🥓 to my Broccoli salad. ❤

I love the senior price,as well free meal after 10 trips...I eat the salad last,healthier...the roughage cleanses the palet and G.I. tract.Usual go on monday,Monday, fried steak,or Thurs,mexican...of course everything else you see on your video..I'm good at 4 plates.😊

I’m not sure how true it is. Was always told you should end your meal with a salad to aid digestion. Yet with you Joel.. I’m sure you could have salad in the beginning an ending lol. Great video as usual! 🙌🏻🤟🏻
Vegetables first followed by protein and fat, then carbs. That's the order the French eat. Always start with veggies. Carbs, even simple carbs, digest at a slow rate when you eat your vegetables for fiber and your protein and fats first. It's only when you eat refined carbs first that it dramatically raises your blood sugar and causes a crash.

I've never once had Utah cross my mind when thinking of places with a good food scene. In fact it's probably the last place I would ever imagine finding really good food.

I think most buffets make the mains ok but not great because they cost the most. They focus on making the sides taste the best cause they are cheaper and more filling.
Joel I'm a HUGE beets and pickled beets fan! I could easily inhale that entire platter of beets at the salad bar and have plenty of room for a few more plates of meats and other assorted vittles 🤤

Yorkshire puddings are cooked in the oven, plus they have milks and eggs added.

Just across the freeway from Chuck-a-Rama is a great Sushi place called Sakaura. The best sushi is Southern Utah.
You really need to come to Moonlight bbq buffet in Owensboro, ky. You will love it, the best Mac and cheese around!!!!

Dang it I’ll just barely miss you! I’ll be in SLC on the 4th! I’ve only been to Chuck-A-Rama in SLC; didn’t even know there was one in St. George! Years ago, there was a couple who ate there and were told they couldn’t eat any more roast beef because they’d eaten too much already, 18 slices. And to answer your question, I would NEVER eat potato salad from a buffet, because I’ve gotten really bad food poisoning that way before.

I like my fried chicken without any sauces. But chicken is my fav food. I make my own chicken strip seasoning batter. I use coconut flour and seasoning.

I dunno Baby Boy! What I’ve seen is not making me hungry! I lost my daughter and couldn’t eat for an awhile. Almost died from it. Then I was determined to eat again. I clawed my way up. It was AWFUL trying to eat with zero hunger and a throat that would clench up from grief. I pushed through! I now literally honor the hunger. I watch you and it has helped me. I see the moments when you’ve had your fill but push on. Thank you. This food makes me want to starve for 100 years. I just don’t know about this. Lol.

Haven’t been to chuck-a-Rama for a long time their chicken is some of the best chicken I’ve tried. If I’m not mistaken though the “chuck” in chuck-a-Rama is named after the chuck wagon.
