That T-rex boss is one of the coolest bosses in gaming history. It breathes fire, has a laser eye, and its incredibly aggressive and has a hilarious finisher.
Ryworphis oh yes there is- ever try fighting CHUCK NORRIS?!?....I think not. you don't know "scary" until you go toe to toe with Chuck fuckin' Norris, man....I've seen some shit. ;-;
It's because 99% of games are designed for the multiplayer now. Gotta make "balanced" gun sets instead of fun ones when multiplayer is your main goal/audience. No BFG's for you.
and the sad part is no one seems to use them. I never understood it. They have rocket launchers and grenades launchers and nukes but they use bow and arrow and wonder why they lose. - _-
you know, i love how they let you know something huge your going to fight at the end, by giving you all that ammo, and shit. But i think it would've been cooler if the endboss would've been replaced by the t-rex, and the t-rex replacing him as the final boss.

The Campaigner always reminded me of Shao Kahn from Mortal Kombat for some reason, probably because he's a teleporting ass hole that takes ages to kill.
I took this game as historically accurate when I told my first grade teacher (after she asked why the dinosaurs became extinct) that we killed all the Dinosaurs. I'm PRETTY sure I told her something along the lines of 'its true, I played a game about it'. Oh, the laughs the class had at that. Good times.
That cyborg T. rex is more relentless than Doom’s cyber demon, yes I said it. That thing was running at you constantly and it really acted like it wanted to kill you, it was not giving you a moment to rest.
That Cyborg T-Rex was something very special. And it is even nowadays. The whole concept of this creature is just amazing and I love that roar. Just imagine a remake of this game with niwadays graphics 😍
Shadow of Oblivion had a disappointing finale, tbh. Joshua dies, Adon being defiant to save him, Danielle being the mother of her own baby. Yeah. Disappointing.
This game is insanely difficult man, i've never finished it, but it brings me so many good memories back when i've got my N64, this and 007 Goldeneye were so amazing FPS
Crichjo32 games back then where alot of fun.having friend come play a few multiplayer matches now we have a bunch of annoying brats screaming in the mics hackers ruin matches
The Raptors shooting blue plasma were cool in this game. The jet-pack aliens, leapers,Dimetrodons,Cyborgs and Triceratops were also really interesting and well designed enemies. It was fun, watching enemies fight each other as well.Turoks weapons were awesome too. In fact, there is very little out there that rivals Turok in terms of addictiveness, gameplay and at times difficulty. Definately a 10/10 even after all these years....
That sound track give me goosebumbs , Those times !!!!,golden times when I come back from school and just playing turok all night long . in that time this was the cod from 2000
When I was 6 years old I got my n64 with Super Marion 64. On christmas I got my second game, which was this one :D I was horrible at it and scared shitless in bossfights, so my father had to beat it for me.
I got this game used back in the day so it came with no manuals and I had NO clue about the narrative or the overall goal of the game, so I pretty much played level 1 over and over again with cheats just blowing the shit out of everything and everyone. Took me 20 years but I finally beat the game for the first time 2 months ago.
Wow! I found this on accident. I've been going through a nostalgic phase lately. I searched Turok Dinosaur Hunter boss battles, and what do you know? AcidGlowx my go to guy for everything Killer Instinct has the video! at least one without cheats activated! thanks.
The T-Rex boss fight scared me as a kid. The low visibility, the speed and size of the T-Rex, the laser eye trying to lock on to you, and the roar… I was terrified 😰 The remaster loses some the fear factor with the farther draw distance.
lol I always used to laugh when the Campaigner died, he was like "Argh, damn...I'm ok now, just stand up...yeh, lemme get my shit togeth...Argh!" Oh the memories :) Turok rules
I like to imagine the developers first made a T-Rex and said to each other "hmm, I don't think he's cool enough" and went "I know, he needs a flamethrower, a fucking laserbeam, and cybernetic shoes."
Should have never collected the parts for the chromosphere. Just went through the game in less then a day and killed the last boss in less then a min. The first boss was harder and the only one that beat me was the mantis. The game physics, like falling is harder then the enemies. Hardest part of the game is finding keys.
did u see the new turok games? extremely disappointing compared to this. dinosaur hunter will always be the top. the way they made these bosses were so good. they don't make games like this anymore
i mean you pay for turok dinosaur hunter and get a fukking t rex with laser and shit. if people still would make games like this then we had a lot of people going well to work again
Never finished playing the original Turok, however did finish playing the 2008 remake. Just seeing all these awesome boss battles makes me realise how awesome the original game was. The remake is a 'piece of shit' compared to the original, hands down!

That T-rex boss is one of the coolest bosses in gaming history. It breathes fire, has a laser eye, and its incredibly aggressive and has a hilarious finisher.
When you try to hide in one of the cubby holes in the arena and it crouches down and sticks its head inside to chomp at you.
Pretty sure that’s an allosaurus
And his name is Thunder that sounds badass.
Yes !!!!
And a pretty scary roar
The weaponized T rex with the lasers was a nice little gem of a boss battle. They don't make them like that anymore.
No sir T-rex was a hell of a boss fight
That T-Rex had a frickin laser beam on it's head.
Not to mention, fire breath!
But I wanted..... SHARKS WITH FREAKING LAZER BEAMS ON THEIR HEADS.
-Doctor Evil
@@WampaStompa1996 More than a T-Rex was a dragon
It’s a cybernetic T-rex
I remember trying to hide in that little back hallway while at low health only to find out the laser can shoot through freaking walls too -.-
There is nothing more scarier than a Cyborg T-Rex heavily armed
Ryworphis I wonder how many Indominus Rex's that thing could take out if it were placed in JW, 10? 20? 50?
Ryworphis oh yes there is- ever try fighting CHUCK NORRIS?!?....I think not. you don't know "scary" until you go toe to toe with Chuck fuckin' Norris, man....I've seen some shit. ;-;
This game was so ahead of its time. The lighting effects were incredible for the time.
I never seen weapons like that ever again in any other game..not even the ones that are supposed to be futuristic like halo..I miss turok man :\
It's because 99% of games are designed for the multiplayer now. Gotta make "balanced" gun sets instead of fun ones when multiplayer is your main goal/audience. No BFG's for you.

People dont think outside the box anymore nowadays
Fallout is single player and has some cool guns like this
tupok the dinosaur hunter, one of the hardest games i ever played.
Hard as crap but sooooooo fullfilling
who is tupok ??
rapper turned dinosaur hunter.
***** makes sense
Wark lmao
This game was so insanely badass. They don't make em like this anymore.

Don't ask...
@@joshjosh9010 you had one of those too?
@@ronaldraygun8007 Who didn't?

you play Twisted Metal too much
The first boss is called "The Longhunter" although he's never actually referred to that way in the game. I always thought that was such a badass name.
Sounds like a Poacher that hunts people, if the Humvee is anything to go by...

Imagine if you became a time traveler and were the reason for the dinosaurs extinction. Wouldn’t that be funny that you had the last laugh? 😆
I love the footstep sound effects haha. Brings back memories

There is in fact a remake of this and Turok 2. Check it out!
A friend of mine was so good at Turok that he was able to kill the campaigner with the knife.
this was one of my favorite N64 game , the sequel was also great they did screwed it up on the 3th one
Shadow of Oblivion had a disappointing finale, tbh. Joshua dies, Adon being defiant to save him, Danielle being the mother of her own baby. Yeah. Disappointing.
Very disappointing but 1-2 was bad ass 1 still the best imo
When was the last time a game had a Cyborg T. Rex that could shoot lasers and spew fire?
Supreme Commander 2 has them.
Anoni Mause But do they have Thunder's insane damage pool?
+Black Cobra star trek online weirdly.
FarCry 3 blood dragon.
NieR Automata had something similar
I lost so many lives against the motherfucking T-Rex, I almost ended up spiking my keyboard.
This game got real intense when you were on your last life and low health with no memory card good times
These boss battles are crazy. It's no wonder that the guys who made this game went on to become Retro Studios and made Metroid Prime.
This game is insanely difficult man, i've never finished it, but it brings me so many good memories back when i've got my N64, this and 007 Goldeneye were so amazing FPS
Felipe Thiago you think THIS one was tough?!?!! lmao have you ever played the sequel?!? good god! that game was just fuckin' INSANE! ;-;
Turok 1 was tough, but 2 was way harder
This is a proper man's fps game, with epic boss battles - not the lame COD stuff we have these days.

lmfao did you really compare this game to cod... just because you can't keep up slow poke.

My GOD this T Rex wont die. ITs got everything Lazer on its head, Fire Breath..LMAO.. ah the memories..lol
Of all the bosses I played against in my youth, I never forgot this one.
We definitely need more T-rexes with lasers on their heads.
i loved this game so much because you can always hear the last boss (T-rex) howling from the very first level and the boss levels.
man I love that roar he makes because that tell you it just got real.
@FBIagent231
What game is this? Try reading the video description. It's there for a reason!

The Cyborg T.rex sounds like the Allosaurus from WWD
In the turok series, turok tames tribal dinosaurs to battle dinosaurs, cool idea
Love the cyborg t-rex's roar :D
That goddamn T-Rex made me despair over here. But I love him so much on the other hand. Awesome game :D
I've noticed that the long hunter is the only boss where you die normally, wonder why?
I fucking love this game because of the prehistoric monsters you get to fight in it! This and Quake will always be my favorite games! 👌
the Trex Sound like An Elephant In Low Pitch 6:46

Hilarious.
They could have made the first boss a guy in a tank but they chose a Humvee instead, that's style and originality right there.
I'll never forget how the Longhunter sounds and his 3 or 4 phrases... "HEY", HUH, AHHH ", UGGHH"... lmao
This brings back so many memories!!
I dont understand, why anybody dont make remake of this :) So great game, I love it!!!
+nfsfan83 remaster out on steam this month, GOG, humble
Imagine fighting against Turok as 1 of the bosses.
One thing I dislike about the Turok games is that the bosses are super spongy... other wise difficult yet fun games to play.
I remember this game back in the day was no cakewalk, but it was awesome!

That T-Rex with the fkn lazer beam on it's head was easily one of the best bosses in any fps game.
a cyborg T-Rex. that would be such an awesome idea for the next Jurassic World movie.

did any of you who played it ever had the end scene when you beat any boss and your leg was like all fucked up and crooked.? or was it just me?
Messerschmitt ME-109 happened to me when I beat the final boss lol he ran with his leg like that also lol
This was epic.

All I can say is ....''I AM TUROK!!!!!'' al ways thought it sounded soo cool when I heard him say that : D
