Alhamdullilah for my one and only wife Allah has bestowed . Cant imagine getting in bed with another woman even though it is legal for me. The guilt in my heart coming to her after being in bed with the other will kill me. Sheikh got it wrong. He should have emphasized the rights he needs yo fulfill as a man. He should also love Allah more than his desires.
It's not legal, unless that other woman is your wife too, even then you cannot just take any woman to be another wife, the Qur'an states a widow or an orphan, if there are no then you may choose, even then you'd have to do justice to them and so on
Salaam Yes it's his right so the opition is there however his intention to want another is fine however can he actually fufill his rights and fard on all this wifes and do it well like allah swt has asked. The question is is he doing it for his own personal circumstances or to get closer to Allah and fufill an act of worship. I still believe women and men should discuss this prior to nikkah so they both can be on the same page and both decided whats right for them going forward. It's as simple as this. I also believe had this been permissible for women to marry more than one man, the man in a marriage would not be able to tolerate this as most women can't. Most men unfortunately do miss use this right especially and normally it's the only Sunni they want to do. May Allah swt help and protect us all in making the right choices for the right reasons.

I love how he understood and respected the pain. True, it is a test from Allah. May we not be like the Shaytan who complained to Allah that He had given humans more right while they were created from fire and us, of clay. We, men and women are created from the same material but He has given men this right that He did not give us. We are satisfied with Allah as our Lord, islam as our religion and Muhammad ( Saw) as the messenger. All this will not matter in the hereafter, so let's be patient. If your husband's marriage to another woman makes you resent him and displeased to the extent you cannot fulfil his obligations and you are not happy at all, then seek divorce. Weigh the positives of staying with him and the negatives before leaving though.
Sisters pur it as a condition of marriage that you have right to divorce and that he agrees to no multiple wives (also state in contact that if he does have a pologym situation say you can have Kulla without having to return Mahr and without his approval).
With these many terms and conditions there is a high probability that you’re causing fitnah, and no brother shall marry such a woman Inshallah with so many terms and conditions that are not there in usual marriage contract!

Marriage is about two persons growing up together while being connected to each other on a spiritual level. Now if you tell me that "The adults" can still practice this level of spiritual intimacy by marrying upto 2,3,4. I don't know what to tell you. Ik it says in the Quran that a man can take upto 4 wives. In the immediate verse it says, if he can assure that he can treat all of them equally. Even a mother can not treat all of her children equally. You're telling me a mere man can? Again, the verse was out when the scenario was that a man could marry as many as he wanted. It was a social norm. And in order to expand the family line and to make connections between other " houses" , you were allowed to marry upto 4 if necessary. Some say you don't need the consent of the first wife. HOLD ON, you're telling me this is " justice"? Duhh don't be ridiculous. I honestly don't think how it's possible for any mere human being to treat 4 person the same way.
so if a mother can't love her children "equally" then why would she have more than one child? parents love each child for different reasons just like a man will love the second wife for different reason. my first wife is an artist, a creative, she's good with the kids but was only able to bear one child. my second wife is a hard worker and is business savvy, she birthed the rest of my kids. we all have roles, you can't do everything.
So you acknowledge that Allah permits it and we all know that the prophet pbuh practiced it yet you still want to go with the understanding of love the west gave you. What you seem to be saying is: "Allah permitted it to us but i know the creation of Allah better than he does so listen to me when i say that it is impossible." This comment just shows how pathetic and insecure you are. It is one thing to be ignorant but throwing around fatwas like it is nothing while you are ignorant is another thing. Where did you get this from that it is only morally justifiable when you want to expand your family or for political reasons? Fear Allah instead of the western society if you are a muslim.

well as for me i dont mind anymore abt men getting a second wife or vice versa, cuz what i know is its up to them to take responsibility, i dont care anymore and i dont love anymore anyone more than Allah anymore, for me, its a better to lessen the responsibility cuz our main heading is to Hereafter, so if i was a man, i won't add on more responsibility so that my way towards Heaven is more clear and easy with little question that i may be ask for in this Dunya since our aim is Hereafter. At the same time, i understand that most women didn't want their husband to remarry cuz when we love something or someone, we wouldn't rlly want to share ofc, thats human nature like how men can get hurt when his wife being with another man or cheating, etc, but that's it, its on everyone choice, also its better to marry one and then when first wife has passed away then remarry cuz its sunnah?🤔 idk much abt that but i dont against Allah's rules so idm now, u choose it, u answer it by urself, i start to think that life is not for fun so i let it go, idc my husband get into Heaven or not (well i do care) but its his choice. I'm going to focus on myself and gets my own Paradise. :) Also im not sure if i will get marry or not but if i will, then i will put it in contract to not want him to remarry cuz its my right, but if he remarries, well i dont mind too, i wont ask for divorce cuz its his right, but dont expect me to love him as im before, im just there to be taken care of and if he is short in money, well its his own problem since im here not to provide but be provided. I will take care or have my own money for myself but he still needs to provide since its his responsibility and i will do my responsibility. Its not abt love anymore but its about living together. most of it just i joke okay😆 dont take too srs, im not that bad...

Having children will not hurt your wealth as it is from Allah subhanahu wa taala. If it is meant to be, then the baby will come. Furniture and dresses, well he can sell it or return it no problem. I don’t know fortunately or unfortunately, but there are a lot of women (not all women) who prefer polygamous relationship with a filthy rich fat-ass ugly guy over a monogamous relationship with a handsome poor guy☹️.
It is important for the wife not to put on too much weight. Also she should stop nagging and wear revealing clothing, so her husband will lust after her. Wearing the correct amount of makeup to remain young looking is important or the Muslim husband will start looking around so he can commit adultery or fornication. If that is not permissible then the Muslim husband can start hanging around middle schools to get a 13 year old second wife.
If we read tafsir of aayat 3 surah nisa, Allah prohibiting the selfish men to marry orphan girl and giving them advice to marry girl of your choice whether two or three or four only if you are just among them or marry slave girl (without Meher) ( as they don't want to give Meher) or contained with one. It's Highly demotivating not to practise polygamy. Polygamy is highly discouraged in Islam just like slavery, you're allowed to have slaves but not encouraged. As it's mentioned in Hadith prophet ordered men who have multiples wives like 10 give talaq to 6 and have one but they disliked so prophet told them max you can have four by doing justice only. Sheikh here are all promoting Arab Culture not Islam.
Totally WRONG answer given by this Misguided Individual, Also He Is Not a Scholar Of Islaam, His Aqeedah and Manhaj Is Not Upon Salafiyyah, He is giving diplomatic Answer, Not The Truth !!
It’s interesting how polygamy is the only part of Islam that muslim women try to act as if it doesn’t apply to them. Like somehow, they can just act as if they can make haram what allah made halal. They say “if you take a second life, I’ll leave you” or they’ll say “put it as a condition in the marriage contract that he can’t take a second wife“. Imagine if men started conspiring to find ways to remove a right from the wife that she was given by God.
Why you like to force women to stay with men who want to marry another woman , it's halal for man to marry 4 women but it's also halal for women to divorce him and wantting to be the only wife if he does want that's his problem like let's be honest here most muslim men can't even treat their wives Equally and they all only after their lust 🥱 .

You can discuss polygamy before marriage and to make it a factor in the Nikkah contract but what are you implying that polygamy done justly is wrong? Have you even studied other religions?
@@rdflower7025 polygamy before marriage is not good either. If your wife doesn't want you to have another partner then it is wrong my friend. That should be obvious.
@@gulllllll1 there is a thing called a Nikkah contract where this could be discussed and could be a case to annul the marriage and keep the Mahr if the man takes another wife. Polygamy is not mandatory, but there are even women who don't mind being in a polygamous marriage. When a lot of men have gone to war for example and there are only a few men left, it can help with the gender ratio later on (places like Russia still have a gender imbalance even decades later after war). Not everyone wants it (men or woman) but not everyone doesn't want it etc.
@@gulllllll1 He's talking about the Nikah contract, basically the marriage contract, wife can put it as a condition, but try reading the Qur'an first, the part that mentions polygamy specifies that it is for orphan and widows, and only if you can provide for them otherwise have one, it's to prevent single mothers and widows

It's not legal, unless that other woman is your wife too, even then you cannot just take any woman to be another wife, the Qur'an states a widow or an orphan, if there are no then you may choose, even then you'd have to do justice to them and so on
Brother, your wife is very lucky, we need more men like you

Yes it's his right so the opition is there however his intention to want another is fine however can he actually fufill his rights and fard on all this wifes and do it well like allah swt has asked.
The question is is he doing it for his own personal circumstances or to get closer to Allah and fufill an act of worship.
I still believe women and men should discuss this prior to nikkah so they both can be on the same page and both decided whats right for them going forward. It's as simple as this.
I also believe had this been permissible for women to marry more than one man, the man in a marriage would not be able to tolerate this as most
women can't.
Most men unfortunately do miss use this right especially and normally it's the only Sunni they want to do.

Let us point out what the Qur'anic verses on polygamy actually say: "If you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans, marry women of your choice, two or three, or four; but if you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly (with them) then only one." (Al-Nisa', 4:3)
A subsequent verse states: "You are never able to be fair and just between women even if that were your ardent desire." (Al-Nisa', 4:129)
It is clear from this verse that:
First, the Qur'an does not give men the blanket right to have more than one wife. Polygamy is not a right, but a responsibility to ensure social justice for orphans. What Allah has granted is in fact a restriction on an existing practice of that time when men could marry as many wives as they wanted.
Second, because polygamy is not a right, Allah placed conditions on its practice. There is an overriding concern for justice in this short verse, and conditions are set to ensure that justice is done.
Condition A: Polygyny is permitted within the context of war and orphans. It is permitted only if the men fear they would not be able to deal justly with the orphans.
Condition B: The man who wants to be polygynous must have the capacity to be fair and just to all his wives. The verse is a call for just conduct towards women, not a right for men to fulfill their alleged lustful desires or their egos. And just treatment here means more than a man's financial capacity to support more than one wife: He must be fair in all ways, including in the time, support, and companionship he provides to his wives and children.
Condition C: If the man fears he cannot deal justly with all his wives, then Allah advocates that he should marry only one as this will ensure equality. This is explicitly stated in the verse

Really! Keep it up!
What you seem to be saying is: "Allah permitted it to us but i know the creation of Allah better than he does so listen to me when i say that it is impossible."
This comment just shows how pathetic and insecure you are.
It is one thing to be ignorant but throwing around fatwas like it is nothing while you are ignorant is another thing.

I knew this one can be a wisdom behind Allah's law regarding polygamy
well as for me i dont mind anymore abt men getting a second wife or vice versa, cuz what i know is its up to them to take responsibility, i dont care anymore and i dont love anymore anyone more than Allah anymore, for me, its a better to lessen the responsibility cuz our main heading is to Hereafter, so if i was a man, i won't add on more responsibility so that my way towards Heaven is more clear and easy with little question that i may be ask for in this Dunya since our aim is Hereafter. :)
Also im not sure if i will get marry or not but if i will, then i will put it in contract to not want him to remarry cuz its my right, but if he remarries, well i dont mind too, i wont ask for divorce cuz its his right, but dont expect me to love him as im before, im just there to be taken care of and if he is short in money, well its his own problem since im here not to provide but be provided. I will take care or have my own money for myself but he still needs to provide since its his responsibility and i will do my responsibility. Its not abt love anymore but its about living together.
most of it just i joke okay😆 dont take too srs, im not that bad...

Your ministers have multiple wives
If so, the Indian Law Is against the Sha'riah Law and should be avoided by all Muslims & Muslimahs.
Respect you
Just put no second wife on the contract lol
This is very dangerous. Most men will be tempted to do zina instead of taking a second wife as they would not like to divorce the first one at all!
Say goodbye to the contract then. Even if I don't practice Polygamy, I'd still NEVER sign any contract (And no men should) that puts this kind of condition. Life is a Test, not a bed of roses where you get all things guaranteed.
@@MrSaifkamal I'd sign it even though I'm a man lol
@@MrSaifkamal it doesn't take the mans right of polygamy away but gives the woman the right to annul the marriage if he does. You understand that right? Life is a test for men to, and nikkah contract exists.

Its just a loop hole to have another women. I would make the 2nd wifes life hell so she would go. Id make his life hell aswell. Then devorce after doing my worst. Thats what a broken heart can cause.!!!! Pain Pain Pain
Steph Fourar On Yaumul Qiyama, what would you get in return for doing that?
Steph Fourar There are plenty of ways to handle that without hurting yourself in the long run.
Loophole? Something that is explicitly allowed by Allah is a loophole?
So you would want to destroy the lives of at least 3 people (including yours, not including children and the family of those impacted) rather than learning to be content and controlling yourself? Think rationally.
@@waytoguidance - Some men just can't control that they get angry and forbid their womenfolk from going to the masjid out of extreme jealousy/protectiveness. So a woman should just have sabr and never imagine speaking to or seeing anyone else to save her marriage to the husband.
Do you realize that you're defending someone who said they would purposefully ruin 2 other people's lives, then demand divorce from the husband after ruining everyone else's lives? Tell me where Allah says "don't marry two if the first one will get jealous". Any Hadith? Stop trying to justify feelings when they go against the deen. Where is the submission to Allah? Next you'll want to accept homosexuals because "they can't help how they feel, and they shouldn't have to put in effort if they don't want to".

Legalize polygny please don't legalize prostitution. Prostitution ruins the lives of many women young and old who are caught in a poisonous supply chain of pimps and criminals who trade with women. For the sake of Allah just imagine the life of a women forced into prostitution who is forced to satisfy tens of clients a day most of whom are married men. When you forbid Halal relationships the Haram takes its place

The sheikh should have answered that Allah just give him the divine right to have more wives. She does not even the right to oppose his decision. It is still a moral ruling from the early middle ages, but it would have been honest.

Loving Allah hopefully won't make you copy your first love (who taught you to love others) when missing them (passion/regret/grudges/grumpy even Romeo&Juliette calm emotion death in proper happiness or love) causes heart disease. Somehow cheating makes us copy and addicts us to copying while longing to miss.. Don't cheat! Coolest video ever! No mistakes... But good is allowed to make mistakes and let others die by punishing them for earning money from Muslims that gave them business, currency & money/hobbies... Why do we have cold water? Isnt freezing in the water (days of swimming) & becoming icebergs more dangerous for boats? Imo they don't like to be judged... The Quran doesn't judge. Do we die after reaching success & judging? How do you convince the man not to follow in the foot step of his prophet, remember he is the best example for mankind.
i understand ur concern regarding ur question and i will give my opinion shortly, but when u convince someone to not follow rasulullah s.a.w. its all done on your part. we cant do that...
my opinion is reverse to what u have said. besides polygamy, is he already follow Allah and Rasul on other matters? did he already pray on time? did he follow other sunnah? he drinks righthanded or lefthanded? did he recite doa before sleep and after wake up? did he go into toilet with left foot or right foot... did he read quran everyday, he enter house with right foot or left foot? did he recite doa when conducting a vehicle etc etc... did he tought u and ur kids all of that sunnah? if these simple rasul's way of life he cant do and dont teach u and ur kids, im afraid he already doing injustice, polygamy obviously not for him and only will initiate Allah's wrath...
whatever it is, like hussain yee said, Allah can change a person heart, Allah is the absolute powerful... rely on Allah. love Allah more...
@@sentival I see your point. Basically, Muslim men jump onto fulfilling Sunnah before l making sure they got the Fard and Wajib right.
You then also need to remember that our Prophet Muhammad PBUH only engaged in polygamy after the death of his first wife, Khadija R.A even then he only had kids with her, and in the Qur'an it states that Widows and Orphans must be your first option if you look to gain a second wife, and it is only reserved for those Muslim men who can do justice and financially provide for his wives, the Prophets Muhammad PBUH had multiple wives, but they his wife also had their own house, so you need to provide each wife a house for her own

Subhana Allaah reading the comments...do any of you guys know the lives of the wives of Rasulullaah, alayhi salatu wa salaam? We women have to control our emotions and act in accordance with Allaahs laws. If you are not happy with Allaah and the rights he has given to men and women ...why are you Muslim? Do let your desire and nafs control your actions and speech. Submit and as the brother said...your love for Allaah should supercede everything and everyone else..even yourself and your desires. Do not worship yourself...worship Allaah and seek a means to gain his pleasure so that, by HIS mercy, you may enter jannah. May Allaah guide us all..ameen
Nonsense
I can do that.
She should waut to see if it goes well and then if it does not she can make a divorce.
Amen

I have come to learn that Islam is all about polygamy. Nothing useful.
