11:43 is such a great tip. No wonder my mom started feeling heat whenever I used my ceramics. Will buy new ones and regularly change them

Yes, this used to creep up on me... clients would feel it, and I was like... OK, it must be 3months already.

I tried looking online, but didn’t find much. Can we disinfect these ceramic bits in barbicide or even lucascide? Everything I read said to just use soap/water and isopropyl alcohol to clean them but that doesn’t seem right..

10:32 I totally agree about using bits with a straight edge. I rly don’t like barrel bits tho, I use a true cone bit, pointed so I can work easily in the side walls but unlike the corn bit the edges are straight so it makes it easier for me to remove product without bumps and dips. All I need to do is just change the angle of my file so that the flat edge is parallel to the nail plate in the area where I’m removing. It’s rly hard to find that shape in a good quality ceramic though… so I’m still using carbide until I can find a quality ceramic version.

Hi Ms. Paola! I just want to ask what kind of ceramic bit would fit best if I'm trying to blend my soft gel extensions to my natural nail around the nail folds? love your videos btw. thank you sm!

May I ask what coarseness of the baby barrel?
Also, you've mentioned that you use carbide bit for removing the bulk of the nail? What type and coarseness do you use?
You're the only one I trust, completely. 😘

      Hey!
Barrel bit only comes in medium grit where I get it.
Uhm I remove bulk w/ a medium coarseness also :)

@@PaolaPonceNails Thank you! For once in my life, saying this with utmost selfishness 😉, I'm happy you don't have hundreds of thousands of subscribers😅
You'd never be able to even see my comment/question, moreover answer it.
Nevertheless, selfishness aside, you deserve much, much more subscribers than you have. I've already enumerated all the reasons, but if needed, I'll repeat them 😉😘

Do you prefer the baby barrel from Daily Charme or Nail Labo?

Thank you for this video!! I’ve been wanting to use ceramic but it’s rare to see someone use them, it’s always carbide bits for removal. Should ceramic bits be used at max RPM as well?

depends on the task. To remove bulk... yes.

Hi Paola! Your PPN10 code does not work on the Daily Charme website. Do you have another code?

    What is considered hard gel.?
    Poly gel?
    Builder gel?
    Acrylic?
And is regular Gel nail polish considered “soft gel”?
