  • Are you thinking about moving to Grenada, West Indies? "The time to move to the Caribbean is now," says former teacher Susan!
In this inspiring video, we discuss how Susan left the UK in August 2020 for a new life in Grenada, West Indies.
She shares the motivations for her move (being very much over the racism in the UK), adjusting to a new pace of life in Grenada, the logistical ins and outs of relocating as well as how she went about finding work in Grenada.
This is definitely a story not to miss and for those of you on the fence about moving to Grenada West Indies, here's hoping it pushes you over :-)

I love this and I can identify with how this lady feels, her experiences in the UK with racism and how she feels right now, congratulations to you and your husband and I hope the interviewer is able to follow on towards Grenada too. I left the UK on a one way ticket in Oct 2020, had everything including my car shipped over and have never felt so free and relaxed in all my life. I sold up my London home and bought a lovely home with so many fruit growing on it, I have met so many others who have left the UK and I know another couple who are just waiting for a flight. I said to someone that I often spend 3-5 hours in the Kitchen, when I was in the UK this was unheard off (lol). This is how serious I was about leaving the UK, I sold my house on 3rd May 2019 and I was in Grenada 1st June house hunting!..

You've hit the nail on the head with "free and relaxed". Pretty much the opposite of what I feel when in the UK! Well done you for getting out - hope we can do an in-person interview when I finally make it to the island!

@@ExodusCollective That would be great, you will get out here eventually! My younger sister is also making moves to leave the UK for Antigua. She has been there twice since last October and will be going to buy land to build a house this Sept. She was stuck there due to UK lockdown over xmas but was still carrying out her training sessions online.
