    I think a regularly scheduled Zoom call would be an easy way for specific industry segment leaders to meet on line and brain storm and create initiatives around sound and actionable data and market analyse to engage in business opportunities while achieving speed to market and innovation mitigated by having a great team participating in the vision and execution. Just found out my great great great grandfather was Grenadian. I thought he was from Panama but I was mistaken he worked on the Panama Canal. So I've been really deep diving into things.

    A lot of that sense of community for expats in grenada is met via Hashing meetups- an excellent way to meet ppl that will help in any area of life but also to get to know all corners of the island…

    As an expat who left UK many years ago I find your Postings very informative. I moved to Canada back in early 70,s and have discovered the Caribbean having to travel in the Aviation business...not many of the Islands in the chain that I have not been to. I now have children and friends trying to return to the Caribbean after studying and working abroad.

    I have traveled and lived in many different places. As a Christian I usually try to get connected with a good church,. What are the churches like there, if you can answer that question? I am thinking of a second citizenship in Granada at some point in the future.

    • @ExodusCollective
      @ExodusCollective  ปีที่แล้ว

      I find Grenada to be quite an unapologetically Christian country so that may lead you to feel quite at home here. The island has a multiplicity of churches. Let me know if there's a particular denomination you'd be looking for?

      @@ExodusCollective Hi Zoe,
      My wife and I have a Pentecostal background, but I have attended a lot non-denominational protestant churches. The church just needs to Biblically based. Thank you for your very helpful videos.

    This is a well needed platform for everyone who wishes to return to Grenada. I had this type of introduction to community information when we were building. There was a well established Beach group that gave me all the support I needed: friendship, where to go, appropriate persons to get jobs done, average prices for certain jobs etc. Unfortunately after over 20 years it became one of Covid-19's casualty. For me, many of these friendships still exist.

    • @ExodusCollective
      @ExodusCollective  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ah yes, I heard about this beach group! Think it was before my time - maybe it needs to be resurrected. Could be a great way to explore the island if we choose locations beyond Grand Anse and BBC beach...

    What about folks who are NOT digital nomads - how would it be to find a physical job in Grenada if you are not from there? TH-cam is missing so much of that info.

    • @ExodusCollective
      @ExodusCollective  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Marci, I specifically don't cover finding employment in Grenada.
      As unemployment on the island is high, I'm of the belief that those moving to the island, where possible should create jobs for Grenadians, rather than take jobs away from them.
      Also, companies looking to employ foreigners need to demonstrate that there are no suitably qualified Grenadians on the island who can fill an advertised role before it can be offered to someone from overseas.
      So all in all, moving to Grenada to try and find employment is a bit of a gamble. Not impossible but a much harder shot than starting a business or working remotely. St George's University hires a lot of folks from overseas so that may be one avenue exploring. Hope that helps 😁

    Excellent video. How do foreigners when living in Grenada deal with the reality of high prices on imported items that they're used to in the UK, the US and Canada, high taxes, an economic society that is so limited to the tourist industry, plus poverty and unemployment situations? What you discuss is very valuable for everyone, not only people of African heritage.
