Is the Wi Fi really good? Is property reasonable ? Are there direct flights to UK? Why Antigua over any other island? etc etc. etc. Given there are so many islands to choose from it would help us viewers a little to narrow down an initial list of possibilities. However please don’t take this as unwarranted criticism because this channel is a really fantastic initiative . Hey, have you checked out the cost of living guides for each of the Caribbean islands over at www.theexodus.co? That's a good place to start in figuring out which island will fit your budget. What works for another person won't necessarily work for you so I always suggest folks start with their criteria their ideal Caribbean destination. Yes, Amber's dad is from Antigua - that's how she was able to apply for citizenship on the island. British Airways is set to restart direct flights to Antigua from 30th June 2021 (c***d madness permitting). Hey there! These are great questions! I do have family in Antigua (one Aunt and many cousins and family friends as well). The Wi-Fi was the best for me in the NW part of the island (having a generator helps when the electricity goes out to keep the wi-fi up during power outages). As far as reasonable property, are you talking about for rentals or purchases? There are direct flights from the UK. I initially chose Antigua to connect with my family heritage and obtain my Antigua passport by descent, but started after making some great business connections. Each island definitely has its own personality, so based on what you need and your non-negotiables would be a great starting point to narrowing down your top islands. And please test out the place for at least a month to see what it is like living there because vacationing somewhere and living somewhere are two different ministries!
