How do you reset the adaptations? Do you just drive it like you said early on in the video for a couple hundred miles?

I have an 06 MCS that is starting to have show subtle signs of these shifting issues after warm up and driving for about 10 or so miles. Have flushed and filter changed with great improvement, but feel like maybe the valve body change would be a good idea as well. I have read multiple blogs about different valve bodies, good and bad, EBay sellers good and bad, etc. and don’t want to waste money or time here. Can you share the information on the valve body you used in this video? Your explanation of the solenoid issue makes perfect sense but I want to make sure I order the correct one from the correct supplier to avoid as many issues as possible.
    Thanks for sharing the video!

I just did solenoids and put the same valve body back in. But car is now slipping/hard shifting/ popping into neutral.
I took it to a shop who said it sounds like the fluid is cavitating. You can hear the pump sucking air. I pulled the valve body again, and put the old solenoid back in, and I'm still have the same issue! I'm at a loss, hoping you can help.

Where do I get the valve body from

Hi there I have a Cooper S with the Aisin TF60SN and have replaced the 5 solenoids apart from N88 and N89 which I will do next (should have done first time) Only issue it has is hard shift 2-1 and 1-2. It’s never had trouble codes and the new solenoids have not made any real difference. I may end up doing a valve body in the end and was thinking about using Wolfsburg Tunings out of Fort Myers Florida which is recon but flow tested with new solenoids. Any experience of this brand, or do you only ever fit Mini genuine valve bodies? And do you fancy selling me one if so, as I bet you can get them way cheaper in the states than I can in Perth Australia 😀

Hey, I loved the vid! Lots of good info. I have an 05 that has harsh shifting from 1-2 and 2-3. It gets a little better after it warms up though. It’s got 176k on it, but the fluid came out almost perfect. I did is filter and fluid change to see if that would help but it did not. What would you do? Do you k kw of a cheaper solution than the pricy dealer valve body. Have you had any luck just changing the solenoids?

I have a 2008 cooper s and when it shifts in to second or third it revs up and then shifts. Is that a valve body as well?

If I wanted to change out a bad solenoid, can I just change them all out? Mini Cooper trying to tell me I need to replace the whole valve body. Only 4th gear is acting funny. No whining, no grinding. Nothing…. I let off the gas when I’m coming up on fourth gear and I like to catch on its own..
