I agree! The sprays on the black cardstock are amazing.

Your cards are so pretty. The sprays look great but does the pigment or shimmer rub off on your fingers? I have some of the Distress Mica Sprays and rarely use them because they rub off on hands and even other paper.

Great question! I should have showed that in the video. I totally understand your concern, because I have sprays like that, too. Once the Distress Spritz sprays have set, nothing rubs off. It's awesome! The sprays dried quicky in our dry climate, but it took my card bases about an hour to completely set. Once the Distress Spritz were set, none of the mica rubbed off. I double checked today and nothing. Still shimmery, no glittery hands. 😊

If you rub a coating of Distress Micro Glaze over the mica sprays, that seals it and no rubbing off. Likely would work on these as well.

@@AngelRodriguez-hh7py ya, that’s not gonna happen. I primarily scrapbook and I think that would get expensive and labor intensive to seal 12x12 pages. I’d rather just use a spray that’s not going to rub off. Thanks for the suggestion though.

That's a great suggestion. Tim Holtz shared a video today showing how these don't rub off like the mica sprays. I didn't have issues with them, but I can't speak for all the creators who used them today.

@GalaxyGirlCreations I'm right there with you. I'll be sharing a scrapbook page on Monday, and I'll make sure to show how the shimmer sets when I'm done. I'm so glad you asked this question.

how did you clean your nozzle?

Great question! In Tim Holtz's video, he shows a how-to. He just dips the nozzle in water to rinse and replaces the cap. If I plan to store mine for a long time, I unscrew the spray top and rinse the tip and tube. I hope that helps.
