Of course I want to see more Tim Holtz products. He is so meticulous about his products and they are they greatest and so is he. Thanks for sharing.!!!!
I love that resin and want bigger bottles lol. Also love the blower, better than a straw or the air cans for cleaning computer keys. That would give the white spots like he was showing. Tim is the golden touch to any product, we know he won't show us if it doesn't meet his standards. I count on that.
Hope you are doing good Tim and that ticker is stronger than ever! I also have heart issues, so I can relate. I will need surgery on my tricuspid valve. The regurgitation got worse to the moderate level. I love all your products!
The Metallic Mixatives are meant to break down and blend with the Alcohol Inks while the Alloys are meant to stay together and create a metallic leafing look. Tim talks about the differences starting at the 11-minute mark in this video. Hope this helps!
Shirley Desrochers both. The glaze is translucent but not transparent, meaning there is color but you can see through that color to the colors underneath. This allows for layers of color and the creation of new colors. Think of stained glass. You could also search for a video that explains the concept of glazing in oil painting for a more in-depth explanation. Glazing is how the old masters were able to achieve outstanding depth in their works.
@@robinwilson8411 - Thank you for distinguishing between transparent and translucent. I love watching Tim, and I love his products very much. Unfortunately, I tend to be a little to literal, so every time Tim says "transparent", in regards to the glazes, it confuses me momentarily. I know it's a personal problem, but I can't help it. Still, I enjoy his videos too much to be put off by this, so here I am. :)
I live in San Antonio and I think they decrease at a specific time of year and prepare for the new releases. I usually got to JoAnn and Hobby Lobby to get what I am looking for.

@@scrapbook Thanks so much.
I don’t understand, if the glaze is translucent, why are they coloured? Which colour comes through, the ink you used or the glaze you you?

Why is it my Hobby Lobby has decreased the amount of Tim Holts products? Very disappointing. It is the Hobby Lobby in Conroe, Texas.
