Digging Indian Artifacts with a Bobcat in Texas

  • I went with my father and his metal detecting friends to a weekend bobcat dig.
    For the amount of dirt I moved I was hoping to find more than I did, but that’s how it goes when you’re screening already dug up dirt. Hit or miss, which is why we call it hunting, not finding artifacts.
    Not all digs are winners.
    At least we all had a great time and made new friends along the way.
    This is day 1 thanks for Watching please leave a comment and subscribe

    looks like so much fun. I remember when I was a kid, they bulldozed a bunch of the riverbed near me, and we'd find arrow heads in the piles.

    That old guy was really excited and literally shaking and I completely understand your holding a one of a kind piece of history I always take time to think about who made it what it was used for and how old it is. To me they are priceless I would never sell mine.

    It would be great if you didn't dig Native American sights and totally destroy them, especially grave sites.

  • @personalperson1743
    @personalperson1743 ปีที่แล้ว

    it makes me sick to see my peoples history destroyed just for a knife or arrowhead knowing nothing about what went on there at that site. its no different than me going to your grandparents house and bulldoze up the entire place where they lived just because im hunting/collecting old keys heck with whatever information they left behind and how they lived, while you watch. whats wrong with people theses days isnt there anything sacred anymore, no morels, no respect, all have gone out the window.
