Hat to say it but where they have you digging is way to high.
I used to go 2-3 time a year 2 weeks at a time.
Harry had the opal layer exposed about 5-10 deeper.
Once they passed and son's wife got hands on....they have you digging upoer layer nothing really in it.
I have some amazing pieces of Black Opal.
When you hit a piece you will hear it shatter like glass.
I haven't been in years
How much are they charging to dig in bank?

We did have a great time.
We have been twice now. First time we dug the tailings. This time, we dug the bank. I believe it was $175 a person to dig the bank for the whole day. 8am to 4pm? You would have to check their website to confirm. We got a handful of decent tiny limb casts. Thanks for the information, we will keep it in mind the next time we go.
