Wow! That is a really good looking chunk of gold. I wouldn't clean it any more. It looks great how it is. The other bit is a good piece too even at one tenth of the other ones weight. Well done 👏
@BendigoGoldProspecting I found a small ironstone, quartz specimen that the gold twisted around like a spiral around a miniature ice cream cone in the Bendigo region two years ago. Total weight Only about 0.6 grams though. Still cool shape that your Slug reminded me of. Cheers
@@BendigoGoldProspecting yeah it's pretty common, the guy that bought my pick had a 7000 and was driving a little hatch like you. Keep up the videos are pretty good mate
Thanks mate! Going to be hard to go back to finding rust now 😂 Wow, I hope you're right about the relic. I haven't been able to find anything online to help me. The top word is Ashford. So Ashford Birmingham.
Hey bro! COol hunt.. Sweet and calm video.. thats perfect! Big supportfrom your friends and followers... a metal detecting couple from southern Europe!
Interesting intro you have. I guess you need GPS and a good compass as a backup. You had to work for that one brother🤔🤔 but I THINK ITWAS WORTH IT👍👍. New sub to you. 😎😎⛏⛏🔥🔥
Nice nug, just subscribed 👍, I been getting some gold in very old charcoal, it's looking crystalline, not far off diamond😊, got my biggest nug in years the other week 77.33 grams, even got a video of it. what type of foil did you find? Cheers Craig ⛏️
@craigparry5648 That's a massive nugget mate. Must have had your heart racing! I didn't look too closely at the foil. Probably just some junk a wanderer dropped I'm guessing. Good luck out there!
@@BendigoGoldProspecting heart was beating hard, hang over too the max, I tried making a video, ended up being a couple, I missed the unearthing of it but got either side of it. Cheers Craig ⛏️ Ps, I was taking the piss out of ya on the pronunciation of.Aluminium.😁
@craigparry5648 Big celebrations warranted I would say! Hopefully there are a couple that size left out there for the rest of us. Ah.....I see. Everything was a nugget from that point on haha Pronunciation was secondary.

Awesome half oz chunk mate.
I remember a bloke told me 25 years ago, that we do not buy expensive detectors to find scraps.
Words to live by.

Not a bad chunk fella👍 also if an area was too patchy they wouldn't have wasted their time as they couldn't afford to
Now you’re talking congrats

@69bj good luck out there mate! Unfortunately not a hobby for those short of time. Such as myself haha
What the weight
@tommyandbellasadventures Thanks for following along! 15 grams mate. Probably slightly less gold weight considering the quartz and ironstone attached.
