There is nothing that compare to joyous experience of basking in delectable odor of old dinosaur fart’s (gear oil) for hours upon end except for basking in burnt up old dinosaur farts (burnt gear oil) however well roasted ATF is definitely a close second 😂🤣😅😁

Respirator to the rescue, won't smell a thing! That smell is from the Sulfur in oils like gear oil, which is really good at anti-friction needed for gears.

You do an excellent job of framing all those little decisions. Scrapers are a long service life machine. (some might add they run them too long!). However they are stupid expensive to purchase new. So re powers to Tier 4 engines, rebuilds and life extension programs pay for them selves quickly, as a scraper can move a lot of dirt fast, that's how they make their owners money. And when your 18 they are fun as hell to run! 😁

I'll bet Cat would not have done that job, you tackle some of the most difficult jobs and always get them done not always with ease but done. I've been in a few of those hole sticking them back together, great job.
