    That’s the good thing about cracks. If you ignore them and let them develop, they get easier to find.

    The plate blowing out of the hammer bottom makes me wonder if the operator runs the hammer "dry", meaning without pressing the tip onto the rock they want to break. Rock or not, all the energy/impulse has to go somewhere, so the case eats it--until it can't, and fails in short order because it's never been meant to take that abuse. Expensive operator habit that'll get someone chewed out real good, but I guess it's job security for you!

    As a 23 year old fab welder I try my best to learn from the older guys around me since I was 18 but I have a freind that's 30 has a nice shop and I help him on the weekend I love the work you do man keep on posting just found your Chanel and have a watched a few videos keep it up my friend

    Excellent repair. Far better than OEM. Would it be worth Hard Facing the edges if the customer was willing to pay for it, or better just to replace the parts you made when they wear out?

    Your customer certainly should consider himself lucky! Weekend jobs can wear you out. Nice repair job and undoubtedly a big improvement in regard to wear and tear. Thanks for the video!
