We liked this interpretat altogether, the concerto being a mum's favorite. For me, the accompaniment was not short of poetry, power and lyricism and the soloist was a blessing. Thank you for sharing these moments.

This literally brought tears 😢to my eyes… the first movement is a revelation…. I would be inclined to clap to after the first movement….. GORGEOUS PERFORMANCE… Thanks for posting and sharing this beautiful rendering…!! ❤
Mehta knows this concerto so well. I had a friend who looked just like him but he was not a bass player he was a fiddler. This is a very nice rendition with unusual phrasing. Bravo!!!!

I've known zubin mehta literally my entire life. LA, NY, Israel. A master is a master. I suppose he's conducted this piece enough times to memorize. What a trip. And Lana, OMG gorgeous
Wonderful performance by Lana,only 13years after her naiden perfor mm ace,that too with music from a difficult composer like Beethoven,!!3 Cheers!wish her a lot of success!!!(I am now 91 and have heard soloists of the like of Menuhin,Perlman,David anlgor Oistrac and Lana has joined. this group so young.Bravo!!!!

Hearing the music to feel Beethoven' spirit seems alive again. the violist is truly one of best artist and orchestra is also great.

The first time I heard this piece was a broadcast of the Dorothy Chandler pavilion opening in 1964, with Heifetz and this conductor.
That was the 1st interpretation I heard ! That cadenza ! Nothing to beat it !
