I was at this game as a Owls fan. We signed 3 players of the starting team less than 72hrs before this game. It was a great game though.....and Klinsmann was a legend👍
Great video, remember listening to the game on radio ... great listening while being nervy at the same time
thanks for upload
I was at this game. Great atmosphere in Spurs end and perfect finish.
What an amazing atmosphere.
Poor Klinsmann, that knock to the head looked horrific.
The way Spurs conceded in this game, despite the good win,.. was an indicator of Spurs exciting quality going forward but leakiness at the back... Jurgen's famous 'diving' debut for us. 😊👍🏻
eye ossies tactics dont bother trying to defend just score more then you concede
@@homerspurs1961Eye, Aussies tactics are the same
Excellent piece of vintage footage - especially as I don’t believe this game was ever screened live on national Telly.
I lived just up the road in Barnsley at the time and used to drink with an Owls fan. He was a big hefty lad and tried to get on the pitch when Klinsmann scored. 😆
the famous five teddy jurgen nicky sicknote ille dimitriscu
It's a funny thing...Klinsmann German, I was British and now we are the same 'nationality ' American!
Ian Walker was an arguably better goalkeeper than his dad Mike, who played for Colchester United and managed Everton.
What are these recordings?
Doesn't look like sky or tottenham, who did it?
The only bloody treason I watched this for Klinsmanns goal. WTF!
First game I ever went to (spurs fan)
Bryan gil is the ref
How rubbish ossie was has a manager!!! Great player
How did poor Gary Mabbutt feel about losing his place to Stuart Nethercott? Defensive choices obviously wasn't Ossie's strong point
@Æthelstan Edwardsson I don't think he was that good
@Æthelstan Edwardsson more miss we didnt bother defending under ossie not with the famous 5 came unstuck
@@Scott1433 nah poor him playing with judas iscariot
@@duckjive1 i have duckie
I remember Ossie's mentality at the time,you score 2,we'll score 3!
And it was all downhill from there....
loads of yids in there end lol
Calderwood , holding mid !!!!
