I love how practical this. Some unboxers get so caught up in just quoting the specs, but you showed it in action for a real workload.

Ahh see man. Now this is the absolute best kind of review/impression. Doing all that you were doing instead of ONLY talking about it is perfect. There wasn't a single stutter. Editing RAW photos while exporting a 4K video AND screen recording?! Yea not too many laptops can do that all at the same time in general, let alone on batter with the fans barely running and in such a small form factor. Amazing video man!
Actually I don't think any windows laptop could've pulled that on a single battery charge...

The 14” is going to be my next one. Not the max but regular Pro. Bought the 16”beginning of 2020, took it with me to Toronto and edited an Hublot Macro review. Loud, battery drained, well: it’s still good enough for my vids but just like to have an a bit smoother workflow. Oh and going away from the dongle life would be nice.

omg I kinda forgot about one of my favorite channel on youtube because I got really busy with college. Ahh Peter Mckinnon, the one channel that literally sparked a whole new hobby in my life. May I ask why someone would use premiere at all if final cut is better?? Or is it? I’m a graphic designer and haven’t done any video editing hence my question. I’ll be getting the m1 and would like to get back into photog and start dabbling in video more.
priemeire has a few more features, but final cut is just sheer speed. There’s a really good plug in library library for FCP as well

I would love to see more Edit your photos! I think there's a lot to be learned from seeing professional photographers editing photos. One thing I would like to see then is that you slow down a little bit because I wasn't really able to follow all the edits that you did to get the end result you got! But still a great video! :)

Really disappointed we didn't hit the stack counter in the outro. My 2015 15" MacBook Pro is starting to show its age in the Adobe Suite and I want to get a 16" M1 Max so badly.
Do it, I just got the M1 Pro 16 inch upgrading from a speed out 2014 15 inch... the screen is worth it in and of itself LOL

This is SO EXCITING... not just for the power that it gives you, but the freedom. I'm always going to a coffee shop to work if I'm editing photos, but I RARELY leave my home office if I'm editing video because it's not a certainty that I'll have access to a power outlet. This makes that a non-issue now. I can't wait for my M1 Max to show up tomorrow!
