Yes Eric you definitely need a helper ,im sure you could probably find some young man to help you out. And you can tell them i can't pay you much ,but he will have fun and learn a lot from you Eric. Thanks for the video guy's can't wait for the next one.
Eric, if those new tyres are bigger (even a very tiny bit) than the old ones, the smaller ones will wear out extra quick. The higher tyres carry the load and the smaller ones will rub. If fitting duallies, make them as equal as possible. So always put two new tyres together on a hub. I 'm a retired truckdriver, and have seen what happens to the older tyres. Like the content, keep it up!
Glad to see the TJ is coming along. Hope you get all your projects done in time for the Off Road Challange!! Looks like it's going to be even bigger than last year!!
Having been in a similar situation before, more than once, I found that if you single out 1 axle it tows better. Is a little more work but saves stress.
I am finally caught up on your videos. You guys have come along way since this time last year. I admire how you stick to the old school way of doing things.
Eric if you want your knock or valve to quit working and your tire changer take it and turn it upside down and bolt it back up and then just give you straight pressure little pro tip there
Hey Eric, That was a costly boo boo ! But we all make them so don't feel alone. You might think about buying a pair of suspenders. I thought your jeans were going to fall while you were working on the tire machine. Luckily, no moon. Take Care
I have that same 18V Snap-On impact in Red. That thing is a hoss, for sure. But it's never failed to take a wheel off a vehicle... Not even a semi tire or a school bus tire.
as someone also getting to old for this type of stuff, imo would be looking at a spare tire relocation or a bedside crane. Lifting that much dead weight is just going to become harder and harder as times goes on.
I actually miss living up in Michigan seeing that snow I live down in Florida now funny thing I've been in the tire business 27 years I started out up there.
Count yourself lucky not to have a Contractors Choice trailer. The axels had tires on the inside of the pivoting axel, so you had to lay under it to change a tire. That garage sure looks thought out well. Good video.
Don't be bummed out I drive truck for a living and I don't now how many time I put my own trail in the ditch and my trailer smaller then my work truck and trailer be safe have a wonderful weekend
Thanks for answering my question about the Impact Gun. Ill have to get me one. I have a Milwaukee one right now but the Battery holder is worn out so i have to hold it in so it works 😂
I know Eric is quite capable, but as a fellow person destroyed by hard work and accidents , I don't know how he does it? I just got diagnosed with heart disease at 49 from my horrible diet of processed packaged cakes 🎂 and the other garbage 🗑 we all eat! People, watch your diets, it will catch up to you! So no more Ho Hos and Twinkles and other shyt we buy that helps kill us! Besides, we are what we eat, please everyone, take care of yourself and get Eric a permanent 24/7 Assistant
Can you explain how the Wait distribution works on a trailer? Shouldn’t you put the Heavier truck on before the side by side to prevent trailer swaying ?
Do not feel bad Eric i used to help out my neighbors logging company nicks firewood and tree service when he needed help when i worked with him used to trailer breaking rims on the trailers that where there lowboy trailer and fixing them up
Hey Eric shouldn't you have matched those up so that you didn't have one tire holding most of the weight because the tread depth compared to the other Tire?
It was out in the snow when he was ripping around in the razor. Hopefully he is researching swapping in a 3176 CAT, or an 8.3 Cummins. With all the aluminum, the Isuzu doesn't even make a good boat anchor. Luckily scrap aluminum is up.
Why don't you do what Matt and Paul and Merlin do by charging the people's Insurance for Pull people out? I know yous only use the video content as payment but you can still make money off the video if the people them self don't want to be on Camera just film the recovery like they do. You would make more money this way. My two cents on it
Worrying about blowing out. Another tire is hard on the mind, but you're lucky. The Highway patrol didn't get you Running singles like that is a big no no.
You have come along way. The garage, lift, trailer, new truck. You have earned every bit of it. Good for you guys.
Yes Eric you definitely need a helper ,im sure you could probably find some young man to help you out. And you can tell them i can't pay you much ,but he will have fun and learn a lot from you Eric. Thanks for the video guy's can't wait for the next one.
I wish I was a younger man in that area. I would help him just for the knowledge.

Ouch that looks like it hurt. Singling up dually tires is the one advantage they have but is a lot of work.

thank you yankum
My back hurts now and I only watched!
Mine to arthritis

I support the bsf recovery team
WOW, Way to go!! Now, no more bad luck!
Eric if you want your knock or valve to quit working and your tire changer take it and turn it upside down and bolt it back up and then just give you straight pressure little pro tip there
On your off road toe truck, The flex plate and starter do not sound good. When you started it up it has a touch of a grinding noise.
Hey Eric,
That was a costly boo boo !
But we all make them so don't feel alone.

Enjoy your content very much Eric
Good luck have fun this weekend 😊

Seeing your new truck with the new style tailgate I understand there will be a recall in March for the electric locks to be more water proof
Y'all always telling everyone to be safe out there, y'all be safe out there too.
keep the clips coming
Great job Eric that was some work to do those tires by yourself.
You got that right!
Lots of work
Great job. Thank you 😊
Atleast you guys made it sometimes u got to do what u got to do 😊
Thank you for video today, I love your pushing forward. I feel you age comment. Take care😊😊😊😊

Great video once again
I actually miss living up in Michigan seeing that snow I live down in Florida now funny thing I've been in the tire business 27 years I started out up there.
I often wish we could get a couple of feet of snow in Florida. I just want it to come on a nice sunny day in August. 😅
Count yourself lucky not to have a Contractors Choice trailer. The axels had tires on the inside of the pivoting axel, so you had to lay under it to change a tire. That garage sure looks thought out well. Good video.
way back in 1988 we were hauling Herb Werkmiester's Gold dust express 2 though Flint Mi on I69. We lost two tires off the curb side.
Eric - What’s the plan for the YJ after the wrecker games?
Don't be bummed out I drive truck for a living and I don't now how many time I put my own trail in the ditch and my trailer smaller then my work truck and trailer be safe have a wonderful weekend

Just duct tape it in place. =)
Did the rubicon tj die? It needs brought back once the build funds replenish.
Eric, take care of your health my friend.
Those tires are only getting heavier Eric.
Do you have to stop at weigh stations on the express way when you have two vehicles on the trailer
in most states he doesn't as he's having his own property and not for profit..
Shift work happens!!!
Next project, add on to the shop.

That would put a lot of weight on the truck.
This comment is to help you beat that darned algorithm
Wipe the snow off your bumper before putting the tailgate down. If there’s too much snow you’ll crimple your tailgate. 😢😢. Ask me how I know.
Do not feel bad Eric i used to help out my neighbors logging company nicks firewood and tree service when he needed help when i worked with him used to trailer breaking rims on the trailers that where there lowboy trailer and fixing them up
Hey eric I know you have a new truck but i did not see any video introducing it or talking about the kodiac going away. Did i miss something
Huge fan love it .always curious can the wrecker be driven on a public road?
Hey Eric shouldn't you have matched those up so that you didn't have one tire holding most of the weight because the tread depth compared to the other Tire?
My back hurts watching you, Eric. Oh, BTW what happened to your Kodiak?
Nice. Looks like fun!!!!
Eric, you need a tri-axle trailer. How many tires have you destroyed since you got it on the trailer?
Does the Topkick still run good?
Why not put mobile air on tow truck because watch Rory English and other company
Mara says who’s WE you got a mouse in yer pocket ? lol
All due respect Eric I think it's time to get an apprentice or young person to help you run your ranch and help with the heavier tasks
Hahaha heat wave
GDAY GUYS
I think you missed your calling 😮you should’ve been a plumber when you changing your tire I had to turn it off😂
👍😎✊
What happened to the Kodiak
One word,, Duramax.
It was sitting outside when he was ripping around on the razor.
Where’s the top kick ?
It was out in the snow when he was ripping around in the razor.
Hopefully he is researching swapping in a 3176 CAT, or an 8.3 Cummins.
With all the aluminum, the Isuzu doesn't even make a good boat anchor. Luckily scrap aluminum is up.
I have the same gun in red
How come you didn't put the new tires on the inside position? ... That way they would have been protected just in case you ever catch a curb again.
I'm surprised you can load the wrecker without having the trailed hooked to the truck.
You need 14 ply on that trailer
Eric, you look very tired. Maybe it’s time for you to get some help with the physical work. Keep well.
Hey Eric, just a note but the chains should be crisscrossed when chaining down a piece of equipment.
been proven incorrect.

Legal as long as you’re working within the single weight limit of the tires.
