first i want to say what great progress you made, despite rather aggressive methods. one tip and this is more for the audience: you can buy a flexible 2 part bumper epoxy that would be much better for that fender as it would still be flexible - no need for a plate to stiffen it up. I forget the name of the stuff but it is intended for bumper repairs on modern cars so it remains flexible always... any body shop supply store will have it available.

in the future, whenever repairing cracks in plastic / bodywork, to prevent the crack from getting any worse, you should drill a small hole at the very end of the crack to relieve any stress concentrations from continuing to build and grow.

I know this is gonna sound goofy, but the solid colored shirt shorts/pants look is a VERY good, clean look for this channel. The only thing better would be your GG logo'd attire. Don't give away free advertising. Plus it makes you look more serious about your passion. Love your stuff =) IT RIPS =)

Nice work, looking really good. :) Also, smart precaution with the engine.

Since you have to repaint the engine why didn't you go with the factory brown? You are doing a great job with it and it's looking good.

You could have used a soldering iron and welded the finder using zip-ties for welding rods. I've been doing it for years and it works great.

Your content is getting better all the time Well-done m8 it's a good idea to get all those little jobs done in one video and not make the series to long 😀

Just a thought instead using a jb-weld, you could use epoxy glue, maybe with fiberglass mesh

Hi, just admiring the work on the MT250. Was wondering if you do work for other people than yourself. I have a 75 that needs the tank repainted. There are some small pinholes but I gave it a coat of POR 15. Let me know...

Why not fiberglass the rear fender crack?

  • @bestfriendsavc

Looking good. Are the fenders fiberglass or plastic?

Look into a plastic welder or better yet a plastic stapler, saved my plastic parts like that fender. Cheap on Aamzon.

I tried using a plastic welder once but didn't have much luck with it. I've never heard of a plastic stapler though, will definitely look into that. Thanks!!
