Yeah, that comment surprised me. It's not like those late '60s Camaros aren't some of the most iconic, beautiful, and sought after muscle cars ever manufactured. And that's coming from a Mustang guy.
Yes, you can rent high end vehicles, almost anything you want in the US, but of course it's all about cost. Many years ago, we had a meeting in Sunnyvale and were told to rent what we want and 3 out of 4 rented Mustangs.

@BanditsTA A friend of mine was a police officer at the time this movie hit the theaters. His department put patrol cars watching the parking lots for people after they came out of the movie getting a "bit excited!" LOL. Nice screen name!
I live in America and the thing us car guys love about the American Brand of Muscle Cars is that if we save our money maybe we can get our hands on one for a reasonable price. I don't know anyone who can afford a Ferrari or Bugatti here. Of course I just don't have rich friends. Breaks my heart that Dodge and Chevy keep cutting their models and are concentrating on electric. Ford how ever is still in the game for now, so that will be a big win for them.
Well said. Better than" most people can't afford" makes your statement credible. And you substantiate with you don't have rich friends. I don't believe anyone who throws ststs out without justification. Too much of that on youtube
the first car (Camaro) has 1000 hp. Think 2.0 0 to 60. The corvette ZR-1 has 1067 hp. Called "The Ferrari Killer". $200,000. Great movie, "Ford v. Ferrari". Must watch.
@@Ozarks420 That was the movie. And the GT40 was never called a Ferrari killer it just WAS. The ZR1 will be a Ferrari killer. More a general hyper-car killer. The price has not been released yet, but most people are assuming it will start in the $200-250K range. Based on preliminary numbers will outperform cars that start in the millions.
@@chalinosanchez8113anyone in the USA will pass on that 85k demon because they know in those 30k+ miles there’s been a lot of abusing to that engine . You will need to get a full check on the engine to even consider buying that
The engine in the Mustang Super Snake, and GT500 is the same 5.0Lt Coyote that is in the base Mustang GT. The upgraded models have a LOT of other upgrades in breaks, suspension and the tuned superchargers. But you could order a standard GT with a Roush supercharger that was factory warrantied for about $25K (on top of the price of the car). Which would bring the car up to ~750HP and cost about $65K total. Unbelievable value for the power they put out. A friend of mine has one (that he got used for a STEAL because it had it's cats removed and was therefor no longer emissions legal) that runs an 8 second 1/4 on the drag strip. It will put most supercars to shame, but looks like nothing out of the ordinary when it doesn't have it's drag wheels on.
I’ve seen TH-camrs from the UK visiting us here in America that have rented some beautiful rides. The video I remember the most was a couple that rented a Ford Mustang convertible because the pure joy and elation on their faces riding with the top down in the Mustang was so adorable to me. Plus they had their 2 year old, around that age, in a car seat in the back and it was so cute! Yall definitely can rent a beautiful American Muscle Car, and I can’t wait to see yall driving! Happy New Year to you both, and wishing you both all the good blessings life has to offer this year, along with continued successes, and sending all the good vibes I can from over here in West Virginia, USA! 💖💞💖💞💖
There is a show with 3 UK gents that go to America and play with the Mustang, Camaro and Challenger. The show is The Grand Tour. Sadly they just aired their final episode after 22 years of great entertainment.
My brother lives a couple of miles from the autobahn in Germany. There's tractor road that goes from his village over the autobahn. We walked there at around 2 a.m. and stood looking over the highway. He said "just wait". Five minutes later we heard a loud rumble and it was two Camaros racing at 150+ mph. It was surreal. A couple of minutes later Mustang and another Camaro blew past us. These muscle cars are the most desired cars in Germany as are American pickup trucks with turbo diesels. BMWs and Mercedes cars are a dime a dozen there, the opposite of how they're viewed here.
You get the 5 liter V8 GT model of Mustang in the UK, with right hand drive. All of the Shelby & special edition Mustangs are left-hand drive only, so are not sold in the UK.
A friend of mine worked embassy security during a particularly violent time im an unnamed Middle Eastern country. One night a car drove by slowly, always something that made your hair stand up, and he called the tower to have them swing their night vision cameras down the street to confirm what he saw. It was a brand new Shelby Mustang that had just made its debut in the States three weeks earlier! Everyone loves muscle cars
If you plan on visiting Vegas there are several places that rent muscle / supercars. There is also a track just south of the city that you can race a supercar on a closed track.
What’s interesting is that the muscle cars that survived to today like the Mustang, Trans Am, Camaro, Challenger (except for the Charger) were all considered Pony Cars when they were first developed. They were designed to be smaller and lighter than muscle cars. Pony cars were designed to race on a road track where as muscle cars were heavier and had larger engines and weren’t meant to race on any track that wasn’t a drag strip or oval.
When my ‘95 Mustang was dying a slow death and taking my wallet with it, I replaced it with a 2007 black on black on black Mustang convertible. Nothing too fancy, just the 3.8 list engine bug it had the Pony package so the fog lights, bullet wheels and upgraded sound system. God I loved that car on sunny days, and without the weight of the roof it could really move, and it handled corners like it was on rails, even with stock Pirelli tires. My point is if you can get an exotic because of price or availability and you come in June and are not in Arizona or Texas where it gets too hot for it, consider a convertible, preferably a Mustang or Camaro SS convertible. You won’t regret it as both have more than enough engine and even driving slowly they make you feel cool.
I also owned a 67 Camaro, and a 69 and a 70. You two need to come to America and go to the a drag strip and watch them race funny cars with over 11,000 horsepower.
there’s an updated list with the new demon 170 being added, the new gtd mustang (controversial), camaro zl1 1le (the resurrection), the archangel corvette, code red shelby mustang ect
I grew up with the old muscle cars, my father used to drag race when he was growing up. He had so many old-school muscle cars, he had 2x 1969 Stingray Corvettes, a 1968 Chevelle SS 396, and a 1955 Chevy Bel-Air. As for me I had a 1967 Shelby GT350, and a 1968 Shelby GT500 but had to sell those in 2008 when the stock market crashed as well as the housing market along with the jobs. Had to sell to pay my bills and help my family with theirs too. The only other modern cars I ever had were a 1993 Camaro V6 and a 2001 Camaro SS LS1 V8. I miss all those cars and hope to get back into rebuilding an old muscle car again when time permits. Great reaction guys! 🇺🇸🍻🫡👍
@@jamesleyda365 Love the Mopar as well, they were a little harder to come by when I was growing up cause as soon as they were listed for sale, someone would buy them immediately, especially the Hemi-cuda 426’s. 🇺🇸🍻👍
We love our V8's here in New Zealand & also Australia, plenty of classic & modern American & Australian muscle cars in this part of the world. Most of them aren't common to see on a regular basis (you'll typically see them at car show events). That being said, there are exceptions such as modern Holden Commodores (Australian) which are a very common sight. Commodore's came in a variety of types such as Sedan, Wagon, or Ute (car front half with pickup truck styled back half), all versions were available with V8's.
I grew up with muscle cars of the 70's, One of my brothers has the new Corvette Z6 and the other has the new Cadillac Black Feather with a stick. Three miles down the road from my house is a divided four lane 14 mile long with two straightaways and the police are rarely there. I know several people that have done 200+ on this road. No traffic lights or stop signs there.
53 now when in high school I drove a 69 Charger R/T 440. Then started mustangs for a couple decades. Last stang was 04 Mach 1. Was a 32v V8 competition orange. Bought new drove 12yrs daily. Sold after beating a 130mph ticket. How many times can you beat that ? So I sold it because I can't control my foot. Keeps going flat to floor. With credit you can rent supercars here. Have fun .
You can rent a car in the US as long as you have a valid UK license, your passport, and a credit card. Some places that rent supercars may have some additional requirements but most would probably list those on their websites.
The Beasley's were just here in Spring. They are compatriots of yours in the UK with a TH-cam channel. They had no problem renting from what I could tell. Just get an international driver's license. I took one with me as a US citizen to Japan and Italy/Germany. No issues. Hit them up and see what they can pass on to you
You may be able to rent a muscle car from Turo, where individuals list their cars for rental as opposed to a fleet. Depending on where you guys plan on coming, there may be some exotic rental places like in Las Vegas or Los Angeles, but most American rental fleets will likely only offer base trim variants if any at all of the mustang, challenger or Camaro only featuring Turbo 4 or 6 cylinder variants.
My first car in 1999 was a mint 1979 Firebird Formula. My dad got a loan to get it and I made the loan payments. No handouts in this family. I think I had the coolest car in high school. There was only one vehicle at school that was cooler than mine and it was a Hummer H1. The kid’s dad owned Carmike Cinemas. I had some of the best times in my life in that car.
The Ford engine term "coyote" dates back to the 60's. The engine was called "coyote" by Indy car racers. At the time NASCAR racers also used the term "coyote" as a lil sticker that was often used by Ford NASCAR teams. At the time, Chrysler Corp. was running Plymouth Roadrunners in NASCAR. The had licenced "roadrunner" from Warner Brothers who owned the roadrunner cartoons. The Ford NASCAR teams used a lil sticker that had Wiley Coyote grabbing the roadrunner by the neck, which said " beep beep your a** " As you can see the term "coyote" engine (which is actually the code name used for all V8 internally by Ford) has long out lived the Plymouth roadrunner. In a sense"Wiley Coyote" still lives on the automotive world.
My first car was a 1969 Mustang Fastback with a 351c making 425 hp, bought it my senior year(1994) of high school for $900. Guy was going through a divorce, and I got maybe 7 mpg with the way I drove it. And yes I still own it
As an American watching its kinda funny how you dig American muscle cars . I have to say their alot of fun . Your girl knows which 1 to get it's forsure the mustang 100% . Hope you get a chance to have 1
My buddy had a Trans Am in the 80s and smashed it into a snowbank and then telephone pole going way too fast in the winter. He was ok but the car was totally demolished.
I love muscle cars. We put a supercharged LT 2 in a Nissan 300 Z. It had just a little over 500 hp to the rear wheels and felt like a go-kart. He bought a 2024 Toyota Supra GR 6 speed last year and it has the BMW inline twin turbo 6 cylinder engine. He's modified it some with the electric header ports, bigger turbos, and an aggressive tune. It sounds great as well and dynos at 484 to the wheels on pump gas, 504 on e85 fuel.
The Corvette is my all time favorite car. I was kinda sad a little when I was woring at a Chevy dealership 20 years ago and heard that they were going to look like a Ferrari or that "Supercar" look because I loved the Corvette look. I thought that the 2019 ZR1 was going to be my favorite, but they did a really good job with the C8, making it still look like a Corvette. All of those cars are amazing, though!
You can rent base models of muscle cars pretty easily. Shaun, the Scottish TH-camr rented a 2023 Mustang convertible when he was touring the west coast a while back. Rental companies aren't gonna have the top end models like the Hellcat/Demon or GT500s, but they'll have regular versions of the Chargers, Challengers, Camaros, and Mustangs. The standard editions are fairly affordable and usually start at around $35K. But when you get into the high performance versions, that's when you're looking at $70K+
A new Mustang GT is about 480 horsepower and costs about $50,00 USD. A new BMW M4 is about 90,000 USD and is about 500 hp, more on some special editions In the USA
@@raymo6795 add an extra $10k and get a Roush supercharger put on. 810hp, for $30k less than the M4. Even if you went all out on options, and got a GT Premium California Special, with the Roush supercharger, performance pack etc etc, itd still be about $15-20k less.
@@buzzbomb67 I like a stock Mustang GT, and I believe it is a great performance value. The BMWis likely a more refined automobile, but can’t match Mustang’s performance/ dollar. “ Roush” is one of many tuners. I have been a BMW guy for a long time (I own a low mileage 97 M3, my daily driver is a 22 Audi S4), but the current generation Mustang is the first American car I would consider buying.
@@raymo6795 I agree, the stock Mustang is a great car, esp now that the power is pushing 500hp. And at 480, Id do the same. Buy it and leave it as is. Im just saying you don’t have to go the WHOLE Roush treatment. When I got my new 435 hp Mustang GT Premium in 2015, it was SO GOOD! I just felt like it needed just a smidge more power… like maybe 475, and it wouldve been perfect. That car died in a house fire, in Jan 2017, so with the insurance money I got another new Mustang, this time with the Roush supercharger. Just the ‘charger, and Roush axle-back exhaust, on an otherwise dead stock Mustang GT Premium California Special. Grand total, incl taxes and shipping, a 670hp Mustang for $62k. And I am SO GLAD I did it! Id have gotten a GT350, with 526hp, but dealers had prices jacked up over $80k. Plus I like a little more comfort and driver amenities. No thanks. A full on Roush Mustang is probably a bit more expensive than the BMW, and the wait time is often well over a year, as things stand. But for around $10k, or so, on top of the cost of a used or new Mustang GT, you can buy (and have the dealer install) 330ish hp!
…definitely my favorite American muscle car. The sky is the limit. You can get as much power as you want, with huge aftermarket support….But I think I could be satisfied with the 480 hp and the understated look of a new GT. I think BMW has lost its way. Too big. Too heavy. Too complicated. Too expensive , and you ca match the sound of an American V8🇺🇸✌️
@@raymo6795 Exactly why I am keeping my 2014 Mustang GT mostly stock. Once you start adding superchargers, tunes and other performance parts, it becomes less and less fun to drive on local streets. You can't open it up anywhere without putting people in danger and your gas mileage drops near single digits. My car has 420 HP but I still get almost 20 miles per gallon driving to work and shopping, plus I can run regular unleaded instead of premium to save expenses.
oh man - if you havent seen it already you guys should check out the videos of the NASCAR Garage 56 Chevy Camaro at Le Mans from last year. The sound of that American V8 is *so* good, and so loud it kept local residents awake at night lol.
The problem in 2024 isn't American customers. The problem now is CEO of Ford, GM, and Chrysler losing their minds about EV's and electric utopia and caring nothing of all the ideas, exceptionalism, heritage, history of what built these names.
When a Hellcat takes off beside you, you get the crap scared out of you. The roar is prehistoric in nature. FYI, there are stock Hellcat pickup trucks. 1100 hp right off the dealer floor.
😂. The most overrated, overhyped and under performing of The Big 3. Hellcats getting bussed by NA GMs and Fords and not a single Dodge winning any major non-nhra events.
you can reserve one of these cars in advance from luxury car rental places. lots in Miami, Houston, Vegas and LA. You may want to use the options in Vegas and LA for access to the desert at night so you can open it up. Ideally fly into LA then do a road trip to stay in Vegas.
You can rent high end sports cars at specialty rental companies in many large cities. Just have to search for them near your destination. You can probably rent a standard Mustang at a lot of average rental companies though.
European media outlets have long since scoffed at American muscle saying they can't corner, but that's because they'd put a BMW M3 or a C63 AMG against a gut bomb base model 4 cylinder Mustang or the very lowest spec V8. AKA they often _cheated_ to make overpriced Eurotrash look good. In reality they were just jealous you couldn't get over 200HP in Europe without spending $50,000+ when a Mustang GT was a paltry $24k. You didn't even have to buy the overpriced kitted out Saleens or Shelbys where half the upcharge was seats and stupid body kit. Simply add some upgraded shocks, brakes and tires for $3k and you're corning head to head with that M3 that's twice the price. Drop in a $3k supercharger and you'll curb stomp that M3 all over the track. The beauty of the "muscle" car wasn't just thumpin big obnoxious V8s, but it was about _AFFORDABLE_ performance for the everyday man. Sadly with today's Bidenomics no one can afford shit anymore. And all this is when I'm a 3x Mercedes owner. Luxury is where America sucks.
Yes, you can pretty much rent any muscle car you want here in the US. When you get here get in touch with any of the car rental agencies they pretty much have any muscle car you want.
Mustangs are so common in America that they're a lot of kids' first car. My first car was a new 1989 Mustang LX 2.3L 4-cyl. Total shit car at the time. Had nothing but problems with the car. Everything from small things like power window/lock switches going bad, to engine and transmission problems. The little 2.3L 4-cyl engine was also massively underpowered. I think it only made like 92 HP. Terrible engine choice for Ford back then. Fortunately for the new 1994 models, they made the base engine a V6. But there's always been a 5.0L V8 available in the base models as well. Now the Shelby's and GT350/500 models have even bigger engines.
To be exact, it arrived in dealerships for public consumption in September 1966 as the ‘67 Camaro….someone your dad’s age who loves Camaros. Where they heck this dude got the ‘70s is beyond me if he’s a muscle car lover
Years ago, I was going to DC in my Japanese made car with my SO. On a one way lane road, a corvette was tailgating me. You see, I never take my SO somewhere and it was the first time so I was driving conservatively. Until the road opened up to two lanes, the corvette passed me and my SO then made a comment. Few minutes later, I see all these debris on the road and the corvette on the side of the road, pulled over. As I am passing it, I noticed the tag, its still has the paper tags. The corvette literally fell apart, didn't get into any accident. Thats the quality of American cars.
you can rent pretty much any muscle car except for some of the 3rd party builds or customs builds like the firebird build or the demon because they only made 3000 total. but something like a 2020 gt500 or a regular hellcat or trackhawk are easy to rent.
“99.9% are Mustangs” it’s so wild because I’ll see 5 Mustangs, 3 Challengers, 6 Chargers, and 2 Camaros on average just on my first day of my work week 😂
That's awesome ya'll are coming! June will be proper hot though so bring shorts! :D And yes, renting those should be no problem, but I would check rental agencies for availability. Being British is not the obstacle, most rental companies don't have those cars in their fleets. Mustang GT should be available in some fleets and other muscle cars. They don't have the super high end things typically like Shelby, Demon, or Hellcats.
a lot of rental car places offer Chargers and Camaros, but they have the 6 cylinder engines, not the V8s. a few places in Vegas for around $700 or $800 usd for 24 hrs you can rent the Camaro's and Chargers with the supercharged V8s.
Being born in 1960, I was around before the Mustang or Camaro even existed. I was also around before Hot Wheels toy cars existed. Damn, I'm old, but I digress. The original ''muscle car'' was a mid size body with a large, full size body engine installed. The first one that ever existed was a 1962 Pontiac Gran Prix with a Catalina engine under the hood. When the Mustang and Camaro came about, the moniker, "pony car'' (given the fact that the Mustang came out first) was what they fell under. With all the changes that have taken place over the last half century plus, the term ''muscle car'' has taken on new meaning.
If you go to racetracks for NASCAR in America a lot of them have driving schools and you can actually rent one of those cars that have been piped up for actual racing and drive on a racetrack
Small correction: Strictly speaking, many, if not most of these cars are pony cars, not muscle cars. Muscle cars are simply more powerful versions of existing family or executive cars - or, in some cases, trucks or SUVs. The V series Cadillacs and the hellcat variants of the Challenger and Jeep Cherokee are proper muscle cars. AMG cars are European/Mercedes examples. Pony cars are characterized primarily by their body style and drive train - long bonnet/hood, short rear deck lid (boot), 2+2 seating configuration (roomy front seats, rear seats suitable only for small children, dwarfs, and double amputees), and rear wheel drive. The distinction has become blurred, almost to the point that even people who ought to know better, often fail to distinguish the two.
You can get rental sports cars. It just depends on the rental company and if they have one in stock at the time you're here. Just look for Exotic or Performance car rentals. I know that Enterprise offers them.
Actually guys, you DO see these all the time. I live near the 3rd largest city in a pretty small state (Tennessee). I know of 6 GT500 mustangs off the top of my head. You can’t drive down the road without seeing a mustang GT, it’s impossible. That’s because it’s kind of known as a college girls car. I’m 51, so I’ve been around a day or two. When I started driving in 88’ all of us had either muscle cars or low rider mini trucks. I’m a bit more country so I had a 74’ Camaro Z28. There were convertible 67 firebird, 3 x 1st gen Camaros, maybe ~ 15 5.0 mustangs. ~ 20 3rd gen Camaros and Firebirds. As far as renting them, yes you can rent and drive anything. From small and cheap all the way to Lambos and more. It’s up to where you’re shopping and how much money you want to spend. If you want, you can go to race tracks and “rent” and train in race cars. Things like the Petty racing experience where you can turn laps in a NASCAR at 150 mph. There’s road racing schools where you can do that, I think the Bondurant school is one. There’s also drag racing schools or rally schools. If you want to do any of that, you’re going to need to schedule it in advance. If Mustangs are all you have…I’m sorry! Stay off the roads where they are, no matter what. Mustangs are know for one thing. That’s getting all “Mustangy”. They are really good, good at wrecking! The new Mustangs are better, but still well know for it. The Dodge cars are popular, because they’re cheap. But, they are NOT reliable, and do not last at all. The resell value is worse than the Mustang is too. Ironically, back in the early 70’s, my Grandmother had a Demon lol. Dodge / Plymouth / Chrysler cars always handle middle of the road to bad. Partly because of the suspension, but mostly because of their weight. They are always heavier than the Chevy or Ford competitors. That’s why they had to make more power, which pushed the engine harder, which made them not last as long. The Chevy Camaros are the way to go. People will have a lot to say about that, but it’s true. From handling, to braking, to traction, to power, to potential power, and parts available, the Camaro is the best. The C8 Corvette is in an entirely different league. It is a legit super car, and can out run the prancing pony or the pissed off bull. What I say next is not just because I’m a Chevy guy. It’s true and the Ford and Dodge guys will tell you the same. Dollar for dollar, a Chevy is easier and cheaper to get more power out of. It’s NOT because Chevy makes better engines! It’s because Chevy embraced, and was embraced by, the aftermarket community earlier and in a bigger way. There are WAY more options on hop up parts, more companies make them, and therefore the parts cost less. It was true in the 60’s and it’s still that way today. Back in the 60’s - 90’s, the SBC (Small Block Chevy) or the BBC, no not that, (Big Block Chevy), you could find the parts anywhere no matter what. They were the go to engines if you were building something. Now days it’s the “LS”. That’s an engine line GM (Chevy, GMC, Cadillac) used in almost anything the engine would fit in. From trucks, SUVs to cars. That’s why there’s so many of them and why the parts are cheap and everywhere. My dad used to say, if you ever break down while driving a SBC, just walk down the road, you’ll find the part laying somewhere lol. He’s still pretty much right about that. The LS has been swapped into everything, all types of cars, boats, even airplanes. To give you an example of what one can do with an LS… people will buy one from the junkyard for ~ $1000. They usually want the 5.3 or 6.0 liter engines, but the smallest 4.8 can still do this. So take that engine, swap the cam, put on better heads, new larger injectors, take the pistons out and gap the rings so the incoming new boost won’t break a piston from ring pinch, then buy the cheap Chinese turbos, and finally reprogram the computer and fine tune. This is NO work on the bottom end mind you, it’s stock and worn bearings, rods, pistons, all stock! The 5.3 in stock for is ~ 350hp depending on the variant, the 6.0 is ~ 400hp, the 4.8 is ~ 300. Anyway, they have taken those and got the following results….4.8 ~ 1,300hp, 5.3 ~ 1,500, and the 6.0 ~ 1,650. This is on race fuel mind you. This is pushing them to the edge. But, again all stock and worn bottom end. They all say it would do it reliably with better parts. The stock form can be reliably be pushed to ~1,000hp and then daily driven and weekly raced. I’m not just making it up, these cases are documented and available on TH-cam to see if you want. There’s even events called LS Fest. It’s any and all things LS based or swapped. So you’ll see plenty of GM products, but you’ll see Toyotas, Nissans, Jags, Italian super cars , and yes VWs, old delivery vans, you name it.
The trans-am is technically stock at 1000hp. With that being said, if you want one you have to buy a camaro and pay for the upgrade from the trans am company. Weird situation, very rare and nobody really has one. Price is astronomical.
Yes, I think the reason for not seeing some of these cars is due to the UK street sizes. These cars need open roads wide corners to perform. Not saying a car enthusiasts might have one but they wouldn’t hardly be able to get it out and drive it on UK streets. That’s why most cars are small in Europe.
If you can rent one of these, or older, muscle cars rent time at a smaller racetrack (don't know the price) and go as fast as you can drive with no legal worries. I've never done that but it's something to consider.
The majority of rental cars place have different classes of rental cars. Yes, you can rent these.. Enterprise rents Corvettes, Charger, Challengers, etc...

Speed, reliability, affordability? Motorcycles. By far.
I just watched Smokey and the Bandit recently. Havent watched it since the 80s. What a classic!
I watch the first two every year along with, Convoy, The Blues Brothers, Cannonball Run, and of course Vanishing Point.
@@Forced2DoThis1 Hmm! Never heard of vanishing point. I remember Captain Chaos! Movies today are so much trash. Thanks for the reminders and ideas. Hell, I gave up on most modern TV and have been watching Scooby Doo at age 59 because its more intelligent lol
My first car was back in 1976 I was 16 and it was a 65 mustang convertible
If you ever come to Arizona. You both can drive my 2019 Ford Shelby GT350.
My personal favorite of the current muscle cars we got. Must be a great time with the tremec transmission in there
if i come to arizona can i drive the mustang?
the first car (Camaro) has 1000 hp. Think 2.0 0 to 60. The corvette ZR-1 has 1067 hp. Called "The Ferrari Killer". $200,000. Great movie, "Ford v. Ferrari". Must watch.
The "Ferrari Killer" was not a vette. It was the Ford GT40.
I got the 2021 Shelby Gt500 it's my favorite car I've own 86k US got it with 807 miles on it it's a dream 2 drive all black.
I have a 2021 as well. I find myself looking for a reason to bring it out of the garage. Such a fun car
I live in Detroit which is the US motor capital and I see the Camaro, mustang, corvette, hellcats, and demons on a daily basis
Man, that sounds cool. Then again, seeing those just every once in a while is cool also.
Good luck finding a 80k 2018 demon😂😂 you'd be better off finding aliens
Found a few 170 Demons in Germany for 90k
lol that’s what I was thinking.
There’s some online now for 85k with 30k miles on them
@@chalinosanchez8113anyone in the USA will pass on that 85k demon because they know in those 30k+ miles there’s been a lot of abusing to that engine .
Nascar & chevy took a special edition Camaro to the 24 hour Le Mans and it was everyone's favorite. It was so loud you could hear it from far away.
It’s kinda weird having a right hand drive Mustang though. 😅
"Must be hard to drive something like that, slow"...😂😂😂Absolutely!!!
If you plan on visiting Vegas there are several places that rent muscle / supercars. There is also a track just south of the city that you can race a supercar on a closed track.
I saw a corvette while in the brick streets in (sweden iirc) and it was absolutely wild, like "oh, that's... Out of place, wow!"
There are also a few tracks in vegas where you can pay to drive exotic cars on the track for a few laps.
Where I live in the U.S.,a rental car company sold some Corvettes and Mustangs for $30-40,000
When my ‘95 Mustang was dying a slow death and taking my wallet with it, I replaced it with a 2007 black on black on black Mustang convertible.
I also owned a 67 Camaro, and a
69 and a 70.
You two need to come to America and go to the a drag strip and watch them race funny cars with over 11,000 horsepower.
Pretty sure you’re seeing the stock 5.0 Mustangs in the UK. Most of these cars are special order 🇺🇸💪.
I was over in Scotland years ago and saw a guy driving a Ford Cobra.
there’s an updated list with the new demon 170 being added, the new gtd mustang (controversial), camaro zl1 1le (the resurrection), the archangel corvette, code red shelby mustang ect
Same here! Except with Mopar muscle..... both awesome old school America muscle 🇺🇸🤘 love classic American cars, especially drag cars
You can even access a retired NASCAR after a day of training on some tracts.
'66 thru 69 Camaro SS is a beast and is one of my dream cars, as well as the Chevelle SS is a monster also. Not to mention the judge.
12:07 First Camaro actually came out in Sept 1966 for the 1967 model year. Plus they pronounce chasis wrong earlier, it's (CHASS-ee)
My first car was a 1969 Mustang Fastback with a 351c making 425 hp, bought it my senior year(1994) of high school for $900. Guy was going through a divorce, and I got maybe 7 mpg with the way I drove it. And yes I still own it
Man these cars are fire. I've been wanting a Zl1 1LE for years now
2024 Yenko Chevy camero. A beast.
My husband and I had a pontiac Firebird when we living in LA.
Come to Bowling Green, Kentucky, we make the Corvette here and there is a track you can race cars on the track with some training.
I'm glad you kids are educating yourselves.
oh man - if you havent seen it already you guys should check out the videos of the NASCAR Garage 56 Chevy Camaro at Le Mans from last year.
Dude, Get Urself a HellCat Or a Mustang!!! U Can Rent ANYTHING!!! THIS IS AMERICA!!!! 😅😅😅
Great Pod Y'all... God Bless, Keep Up the Great Work!!!
Rental companies literally say sign here and give you keys. You guys are good 🤣🤣🤣
Just get the insurance and y’all are good lol
Mabyinstead of renting some subscribers could show you their cars an possibly let you drive it. Cool channel, love yalls videos. PEA 15:43 CE!!!!!!
You can rent high end sports cars at specialty rental companies in many large cities. Just have to search for them near your destination. You can probably rent a standard Mustang at a lot of average rental companies though.
You can rent them throughout the US. Come to Houston you can rent any exotic car you like.
A Mustang without a V8 is not a "Mustang"!
Even today…
No matter how good the 4 and 6 cylinder engines perform.
To be exact, it arrived in dealerships for public consumption in September 1966 as the ‘67 Camaro….someone your dad’s age who loves Camaros. Where they heck this dude got the ‘70s is beyond me if he’s a muscle car lover
An irish guy rented a mustang while touring the US. As long as you have a credit card and an international license you will be fine.
6:49 this is made by a company in las Vegas. It is not the stock Ford Shelly GT500
Lol, we don't give a F. We are still buying American Muscle!!!
I have a 2015 Camaro SS 1LE and I don't think I could ever bring myself to part with it. It's a daily driver but it's beautiful and it's a beast.
you can rent pretty much any muscle car except for some of the 3rd party builds or customs builds like the firebird build or the demon because they only made 3000 total. but something like a 2020 gt500 or a regular hellcat or trackhawk are easy to rent.
The Demon required a prepped track and drag radials as seen in that video to get those numbers.
The Camaro was born in the 60s, not 70s, as the narrator said. It was a response to the Mustang.
Some of the airports in America Hertz car rental have special addition Shelby mustangs advertised as rent a racer
In Las Vegas, Nevada you can go drive these cars on a track.
a lot of rental car places offer Chargers and Camaros, but they have the 6 cylinder engines, not the V8s. a few places in Vegas for around $700 or $800 usd for 24 hrs you can rent the Camaro's and Chargers with the supercharged V8s.
You can rent exotic cars in Las Vegas from several companies.
In America you can rent almost any vehicle you heart desires as long as you can afford it !!!!!!
If you go to racetracks for NASCAR in America a lot of them have driving schools and you can actually rent one of those cars that have been piped up for actual racing and drive on a racetrack
You should check out the new Chevy Yenco stage 3 camaro it’s awesome at 1500 hp
Oh yeah. Yenko is beastly.
7:08. Those are definitely UK/EU tail lights on that one.
Small correction:
Strictly speaking, many, if not most of these cars are pony cars, not muscle cars.
The fact they didn't mention the cadillac CT5 Blackwing is a insult.
It is more fun to drive a slow car fast than it is to drive a fast car slow.
The trans-am is technically stock at 1000hp. With that being said, if you want one you have to buy a camaro and pay for the upgrade from the trans am company. Weird situation, very rare and nobody really has one. Price is astronomical.
Great reaction. Love from Cali
I believe that the Camaro also doesn't meet the pedestrian requirements.
Not only can you rent a car you can drive it HARD
I live in a upper north central state just south of Canada and I see Mustang's all the time. Even in winter
Love that both of u are car peeps! 🚗🚙
1000hp is starter foods for us down in Texas. Lol. Great numbers for stockish though.
In Boston go to Gotham dream cars they don't have slot of American muscle but they do have the corvette
